It was bound to happen given their strength even after their previous nerf. Now we’ll see how long it takes for them to buff everything or nerf the top teams.
Thansk for doing this overview - really useful. Just looking at the Pathfinders PDF, the Drone Controller has some nice additions: Drones get +2" move (which makes up slightly for losing Fly), and can use Saviour Protocols for free. Remote Pilot seems pretty good too for making extra attacks or doing mission actions. Also, Ions do get Piercing when hot :)
Welp, krieg have concealed position instead of silent on the sniper despite blooded having silent 😢 On the plus side bruiser going up to 4 attacks and the hand axe equipment might make melee krieg an actual option.
Glitchlings got a bit of a buff that I think you missed - they can no longer be selected as a valid target while in cover (as before) but it no longer says they have to have a conceal order. So it seems they can sit with an engage order behind cover and be safe
Blinding Aura is also little bit stronger, I think - now you are simply not valid target, not only in cover, so it will work with engage order too. And it has possibility of wasting enemy's AP (if no valid target is available AP used for shooting is not refunded).
So, i just looked at a few teams. I will look more into it later. But a couple of things i'd like to note or get corrected on hunter clade: Control edict: Now it needs to chose the leader as one of the operatives. So you can't do surveyor into gunner, which is a huge nerf, like i can see not using it at all in half the games. Doctrinas: We no longer have anything that says that we ignore the deprecation on the first use. This is a huge nerf imo.
Plasmacyte reanimated Hierotek operatives only return expended if the operative was already expended this turning point, so if the reanimated operatve wasnt activated yet this turning point or it's the next turning point, you can still activate it.
Just going back to Phobos leader, it feels like a big nerf not to get 1CP for 1APL, but you get a lot in return. More likely to get initiative, then pass your activation, is really good, especially against elites. Extra firefight ploy (if not using Patient Ambush) is basically that CP right back in your lap, but without using an APL. Not a fan of Comms 4+ roll for an extra CP, but best guess is designers were worried it would be too strong. I really don't see Phobos players being super unhappy, and they're at least as strong as they were, and maybe more killy.
fellgor mangler hitting on 3+ and having +1 wound is gonna make my playgroup fear them even more 😂 instant 12-13 damage with 1 strike upon ambushing. RIP 1 astartes operative if they aren't careful!
I think the Gellerpox got rather gutted. Pretty incredible they have been nerfed so many data slates and now this and still are probably a good team. The feel no pain and the "drawn to the hum" ploy being mauled is a big blow, as well as the vermin having much less utility now not being able to block or fly. How do you think their playstyle will have to adjust to reflect the new changes?
Something about hunter clade, I don't know if you missed or I didn't hear, the Doctrina Imperitives no longer ignore the downside the first time they are picked, really hurting the consistency of the AdMech
Thanks for the awesome summary! I'm glad exaction squad got a lot stronger imo, shame they lost the P1, but overall a good rebalance. Can somebody explain, though, what's the point of Heavy (Reposition only)? Isn't that the point of heavy that you can't move, only dash? You almost always want to move and shot, so what's the deal here? Does it prevent you from doing mission actions and shooting or something?
think you forgot the most important nerf of Phobos - they lost the action to change order! that was their own unique thing :( or at least I can't find it anywhere n the faction rules.
I honestly think elites are too strong now and I wouldn’t want a descending parabola of nerfs because they have exaggerated that would take them to suck again…
@@CanYouRollaCrit yeah but i mean, since you reworked the game to make it more fair for elites, why the buffs!moreso if you’re gonna nerf piercing weapons gamewide… (I’m still in shock for inquisition though…pure BS)
You can still give guardsman orders to the entire team. You just have to use relay from the comms operative
Oh my bad, missed that
A someone who just madly dashed through all kinds of changes, hunter clade seems suddenly non-shit, yaay! Now I know what to get for Xmas 😂
With warpcoven the sorcerous automata rule kicks in when the operative is activated so it wouldn't lose the apl if it moves away from a sorcerer.
wow. pathies completely obliterated
Yup it's rough ):
Was so close to finishing painting mine :(
They're no longer Pathfinders they're path losers 😔🥹

I hate that Heirotek lost all of their flying. Feels like a totally different team now.
Oh gosh I missed that Cryptek lost fly too. Yeah it's super weird for them and other teams

No worries. Those are okay but PF still are quite bad overall imo

Yeah Krieg in a weird spot
I want to know the kroot changes. I also don't want to know the kroot changes. 😊
Kroot is yes
@@CanYouRollaCrit Now that I have seen, I agree. I'll see you in the video!

Oh that doesn't seem intentional 😅😂

Ooooh that's true!
New ion rifle does indeed have piercing 1 while hot. It also has lethal 5+ and hot ofc. It's the standard shot that only has piecing crits 1.
Kreig regroup is end closer to that operative, not towards the enemy territory.
My bad 😅
I mean, I’ve been reading the Kroot changes and Hoo boy, that’s an upgrade. They gained what the greater good lost.
I read the wyrmblade ploy, as only the fallback for cult agents costing an APL. Those are seperate sentences, i think.
Ah okay
@@CanYouRollaCrit I mean, I am not completely sure about that, and I am no expert xD
@lucastb1775 oh 😅😅😅

Legionary warrior get the most insane ability while intercession warriors got none :(
Yeah angels of death warriors are odd
Thank you so much for this! :)
No worries, thanks for watching
Thanks for going over these. Looking forward to the guides, may The Emperor give you strength to get through them all lol
Thanks I'm trying 🫠

My Kasrkin, elite points have basically been split in three
Just play them in Inq 🫠

Blades of Khaine imo is severely bad. No changes to any of the issues the team have. Sadness ensues.
Yeah they're in a rough spot, really bad
Question should I buy and buil dKroot again? Last time I sold them and Im not sure how hard those change balance them? :D

Whoop whoop!!
It's cominggg
Phobos have recon and infiltration archetype
Yeah I, forgot to mention but I do in their faction guide
