Gonna share this video with my BotC group which is still getting off the ground. Most of them are still learning the basics and I think this is a good video for teaching them all how to bluff!
So fun fact, you can’t give travelers as bluffs because one time the ST gave gunslinger as a bluff, the demon went with it and then won, idk how but it happened
You left out the part of the story where I told town I was the Washerwoman-confirmed Ravenkeeper on Day 1 in that game and the demon still killed me night 2 and I found the Scarlet Woman.
Strangely enough, when you hard claim Imp to people, you tend to stay alive longer than you should for reasons I don't quite understand. If you're an Imp, and you have a Scarlet Woman that people trust, just hard claim Imp. You'll probably win.
Fun fact, the 1st time I was ever evil in this game (scarlet woman I think) I bluff butler, miss understand the role I thought I have to vote if my master voted, so I got suspicious said I dont want to die in my deffense, but I voted anyway because the person I claim was my master voted, so got on the block, but people said "OMG he would never voted if they didnt thought they need to" and lift me to a good player instead. we only lost that game because when going to final 4 the demon thought evil majority equals = evil win and out themselfs, so butler is great bluff! With that said Saint should have been the highest rank outsider here. Like if you are any other role and you got suspicion on you on early on you probably gonna get executed, Saint is the only one where you have time to turn the town back around and build a world where you are good and maybe convince them until final 3. but overall this is a great tier list, investigator deffinitly the top of the top tier.
I think we started out considering positions within the tiers, but towards the end I do know it was less about the micromanagement of each tier and more just general averages. I agree with you that Saint is probably better than Butler in almost all cases as a bluff if you're evil: there's a serious risk when it comes to killing a Saint by execution. But that story is absolutely amazing, and highlights the perils and the successes that can be wrought by innocent mistakes!
It was a great game; some may take it hard, but... those sorts of close games that come down to just Town essentially lucking into the win? Like, I can't even be mad as Evil in those situations~
You start knowing roles are like a cup of espresso, It's a huge kick that can start into a direction and even finish the game quickly but with more and more time info gets left in the mush sometimes Recurring Info roles i.e. "At Night(*) you learn" are like a healthy sleep schedule, you get stuff done every day and thus can steer the game but it takes longer to solve the weirder things
There's enough of a reason to not bluff Outsider: if people start believing that it's not a Baron game, the Outsiders are going to be under suspicion. So it's a good bluff? But it's not an amazing one.
Ha! There're reasons to throw out bluffing as a Minion, but... usually it's not the best, especially as you're learning the game; once you get to the silly levels of play, or if there's a Magician on the script? Sure - it can sometimes actually work in your favor.
It's like Werewolf perfected. Maybe not perfected, but... it truly is such a great game because of everything you can do, both as a storyteller and as a player

That's awesome! I can't wait to hear back if they are able to put these tips to effective use!

I think YOU tend to stay alive longer than you should, Ham...
I'm not sure that's the case for everyone.

I remember that mayor win Guggie, I was the demon, that was a good game
It was a great game; some may take it hard, but... those sorts of close games that come down to just Town essentially lucking into the win? Like, I can't even be mad as Evil in those situations~
This is a great video. I love the concept of this.
Awesome! We have a couple more coming out in the upcoming weeks! I hope you'll tune into those as well!
@@aetreides I certainly will.
Love a good bluff! Thanks for all of the information 🎉
You bet! Hope you enjoyed the opinions of two people who have certainly never lied in our lives. Nope, definitely not!
Yeah Guggie when you out evil you are always good (;
Not ALWAYS... but Guggie has some pretty strong tells when he's actually good.

That's a great metaphor!
Yesssssssss. Give me the rules you play by, so I know better how to defeat you!
Time to forever bluff Virgin and Soldier, just to throw you off!
how dare you not put butler on S tier
(also i have technically bluffed thief to sophia once...)
There's enough of a reason to not bluff Outsider: if people start believing that it's not a Baron game, the Outsiders are going to be under suspicion. So it's a good bluff? But it's not an amazing one.
@@aetreides oh i know, im just being dumb bc i love butler
Great strategies!
We sometimes have some good ideas lol
"you shouldn't bluff as minon" propaganda brought to you by Not The Mutant gang

Ma it's like werewolf but turned up to 11
