I am absolutely with Edd here. Understanding each other is really something we should try to do more in general, and for this game specifically though. And, I do love getting some more insight on what people thought and were doing and all of that. Also, your chapters seem to be wrong, just fyi. End Credits label starts at some point during day 3 noms, and that’s just wrong. :)

i do like the decomposition time post-game. it's a good system so players can understand what other people's thinking and feeling throughout the game. for me, it can possibly relieve some tension and frustration that people have when they went through the game. the game was great though regardless!

Oooh, this is interesting. I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen this one, but heard that it was a thing that happened. Love me some homebrew stuff, always super fun. I know nothing about Danganronpa besides having heard the name at some point, but that’s never stopped me. Yes, the A.I.-Game was GREAT. I remember watching that. (I think that was back when I understood the actual game less so that made that extra fun. I should consider giving that a rewatch). 11 deaths in BMR? Wooow. That’s… a LOT. Really improbable though, but oh wow. Just the possibility is quite something. Oh, the Zelda timeline. Yeah, it’s something. But, like, there is an official one, after all the fan-theorizing that went on. I am vaguely familiar with the concept and that’s kinda it though. Final Fantasy on the other hand I never really played or got into. Not even sure why, really. Huh, that’s a weird claim to make for sure. There has indeed not been an announcement. AH, there it is. That fixes that one. Also appreciate that you kinda just left Mathblade now and never gave him anything. Oh I absolutely love that interaction with Kizzle. Whole-heartedly agree with Etreides about the High Priestess! The way I look at it, I see the High Priestess as almost a way to share a little bit of the Storyteller's experience of the game with a player; while everyone else is witnessing a jigsaw they only have pieces of, the Storyteller is watching an intricate movie, and the High Priestess allows you as the ST to send a player towards the corner where the action is happening. Towards the spot that is most exciting, looking at the Grim, witnessing the night pass. The High Priestess isn't about saying "this player has useful information", it's about saying "this person is deeply involved in some shenanigans that are making the game particularly exciting right now, and maybe that will help you to untangle some of those shenanigans, but I fully don't expect you to uncover everything before the Grim reveal".

Man I remember drowning in the Danganronpa fandom back in highschool, now Blood on the Clocktower is one of my main hyperfixations. It's come full circle Also about DRV3 being a "spiritual successor," it's... complicated, don't worry about it.

It's pretty strange to learn of someone who only knows of Danganronpa from the anime. Most fans consider them to be kinda mid, and only recommended for people who are quite invested in the series. I haven't even watched them, personally. It probably seems like a bit of a commitment to play three long visual novel style games you've spoiled a ton of already, but if you're at all interested in seeing the part of the series people actually like I would recommend it. You could also try one of the many playthroughs on RUclips, since it's a visual novel you can have it on in the background like an audiobook. As for the script, it makes me kinda sad seeing nurse as a red token, ngl. I suppose characters like Soldier, Gambler or Artist already existing makes things difficult, but I feel a character from UDG or DR3 could have been a better fit.

Prrrobably better not to execute Dark there, noo. Aaand, there goes Ryan. OH, right, after executing the Poisoner getting slightly evil still might mean you’re just Puzzledrunk. Good point, actually. LOL “Listen to me Guggie.” Trying so hard to just get Huffpuff to vote with good here. (I also have the sinking suspicion that I remember how this ends.) The traditional Goblin self-nom. Obviously. Yup, might end up with the 50/50 there. Hrng. Huffpuff acting like THAT, so suspicious. But it doesn’t really help here. Yeeeah, Huff might get the poli win there. So suspicious. Probably going for the evil win. That was probably what the consult was for here. I mean, fair to her, really. Could have just as easily gone for the win as good, buut. Eh. Yep, there goes that. Double evil win there. Huff gets the win. Yeeeah, should have gone for it when Ryan had it, but oh well. What can you do? Still a fun one to (re)watch!

(spoilers) ... I like how the final day featured three simultaneous wins. The two-alive evil win, the goblin win, and the poli win¹. (¹: the ability says they win, not that they switch alignment before the evil win goes through, so it's a separate win just for the poli)
