Ooooh, Al-Hadikhia Vs Alsaahir. Fuuunn^^ Ooops, not a good poison for N1. Hopefully that won't come back to bite evil immediately. Plague Doctors are way too fun to die poisoned. I do still quite like the way you use voiceover to explain your reasoning if it hasn't been given at the moment. And it's somehow super funny if you just keep interrupting yourself there xD Oh, my Ghosts reaction to being told he's evil was great. :D Yesss. Al-Had is soo risky. Either you play it safe and are just prime demon candidate, or you risk it and if you're unlucky you just killed yourself. Like, demon is always stressfull, but this one has a whole other element added xD "Dave trying to be a top, not sure if I believe that." What a sentence to walk in on xD Oh, that conversation between Konrad and Minty was fun. Of course she should still get her info, and she does. This set of information is really helpful to spread for the evil team there. "Just for funsies" says the Alsaahir. Was wrong, of course. Random right guess would be waaaay too good. OH, the Bounty Hunter has heard of a Bounty Hunter ping? Surprising xD Always fun when people just act like they have heard their own information elsewhere. Yeeaaah, gotta poison the Alsaahir. Yes, I thought exactly the same thing. Says 'gotta put a minion in there' and then picked a non-minion. Ooops, yeeeaaah, that Banshee is gonna die. Lol. Oh AND got the Bounty Hunter AND the Alsaahir? Wooow. Not a bad bounty here, even with the Banshee dead. Did NOT expect that. I really thought at least BeeBop would chose to live. Weell, Dave's right, he IS The Drunk. Ghost thinks he knows the evil team? Buuut, he's wrong. Believed the wrong Savant info right there. "So the Banshee chose live?" You'd THINK that, with this kill, buuut, funny about that.... Oh, Ghost goes up to MathBlade there? Not a bad idea, probably. Not without risk, but it's not like that's a really big risk. Not confirmed yet, true. Gotta show that you're actually what you claim to be. oops, Konrad is fully gone now? Boo. NOW Heylo is confirmed Banshee. Always super amused by a Banshee using their ability, both to vote twice and to nominate when dead. Love to see it happen. Oh, WOW that's quite some votes there. Dave is gonna gooo. ANOTHER triple kill? Oh boy. Barber swap time? Swapped the dead Banshee out of being active. Shame about the Plague Doctor, but I'm not sure how high the chance of that being used was by now. Gotta be very careful now though, Town. Might just lose here if they misstep. Ah, gotta love a nice poetry reading to start a day
@@TheDarksaphira I did update the outro! I liked the idea of the old one, but I was spending far too much time on it for each previous video (and I don't think many people watched it through). I hope it wasn't too jarring of a switch
@@aetreides well, I did usually watch it through xD But, I do get it, for sure. And it was fine, not like you'll put up a warning so I'm not surprised. New one is nice too, but I certainly need to hear it a few times before I'll stop expecting the old one. Get used to it and all that^^
I was watching the video thinking to myself, this game sound eerily familiar... I paused @37:11 and some1 answered to me in chat WAHT I was thinking at that moment :D
Looking at the General Night 1, I would definitely go with slightly evil. It's 5 evil versus 8 good, with 3 outsiders. Yes, the Poisoner hit an outsider, but there's an evil Dreamer that can act as a mini Spy. The macro picture here is pretty strongly in evil's favor just from the setup.
@TheFinalChapters I did feel pretty good in that Matthew gleaned correctly that there probably wasn't a good poison (and, indeed, it would have been a horrible poison, were Dawn to have been executed). And while there was an additional evil, there was also a Bounty Hunter with a ping on a Baron, which would have essentially confirmed the Outsiders. And between the Bounty Hunter and the Alsaahir... things could go very wrong very quickly for evil. I worry that giving slightly evil would suggest a successful poison, which might have put people on the wrong track even more than Evil happened to convince them of.
@@aetreides In almost every single game I've seen, the Bounty Hunter is an outsider whose primary effect is adding another evil to the game. They're constantly drunk, or poisoned, or simply ignored or killed. So any time I see one, I expect a very evil-sided game. It's possible that there's some youtube bias at play here, but it's what I see... Add that to the fact that it's a 13 player game, where there's 4 starting evils instead of 3. I'd argue 13 player itself is already in favor of evil simply because of that, but then the Baron becomes *incredibly* strong, adding Outsiders to an otherwise no-Outsider game, while still allowing for two other minions. Plus the Balloonist's outsider, which I don't think should add an outsider anymore, but that's another topic. While the slightly good did point to no one important being poisoned, it also pointed to there not being a drunk Empath with a 2, 3 outsiders, or a 5 strong evil team. It's tough.
@@TheFinalChapters The Ballonist kinda "has" to be +0 or +1 outsiders, because if is a no outsider game, would pointing too much to evil imo. Could not be added this game but the option i think has to exist
@@xEvilAliv3x Does it though? There's nothing that says the Balloonist can't jump between townsfolk and minions (and the demon). In fact, that's kinda the point. There are far stronger townsfolk than that, and that's the *best* case for them.
I mean, I literally had a Legion game with a Bounty Hunter in it who saw X Legion, and the final three featured that Legion, the Bounty Hunter, and someone else. And town executed the Bounty Hunter. I've also been the Soldier, role-swapped with the Empath, was attacked by the Imp, and Town executed me the following day. You can't blame a role for Town's decisions.
@@CerealSSBU Yeah, swapping the Banshee with, say, the Barber that just got confirmed, would eliminate the Banshee from the equation without confirming anyone. Although if they didn't know who the Barber was... any dead player would've sufficed. But Eterna had just joined the game, so you can't really blame them for being too overloaded to realize that. At least they neutralized the Banshee!
Absolutely bonkers ending!
Never underestimate the power of an uncoordinated evil team to throw a won game. It's never over until it's over.
