Here's a fact you guys might not know, Chaos is voiced by Keith David, the voice of Spawn and the Arbiter from Halo 2.
He's also flame king from adventure time
And Goliath in Gargoyles.
And Childs in The Thing.

He also plays a robot named Atlas in an episode of Teen Titans. (And the mechanic that works for Atlas is voiced by John DiMaggio)
He played also Dr. Facilier from Disney The Princess and The Frog.
One of the rawest crossovers ending on one of the rawest final bosses. Still confused about the Strangers of paradise ties though.
In the alternative ending of the last DLC, Jack absorbed the Lufenian crystal that The Emperor had. And with it. gained God like powers that would put him on the path to bringing about Mog's future. He would become Chaos as we see him in Dissidia and begin the endless cycles against Cosmos, his counterpart as the goddess of Harmony until her Warriors of Light could defeat that Warriors of Discord and bring about the future he desired
@@dubiouslobo9190 I haven't completed the dlc, but knowing Dissidia Chaos's backstory, that sounds very strange, because I know that Chaos in the lore of Dissidia was suggested to be separate from Garland's Chaos and originated specifically from Onrac as opposed to Lufenia via a manikin that absorbed the memories of 10 individuals and was then raised by Cid of the Lufaine, very unlike the history Jack has gone through.
@@NajaSide at this point you need to take it as a Nomuraish writing trope. I realized that Nomura likes leaving metaphorical bread crumbs for his fans, to link his works. Most of them being poorly written, but fun to theorycraft. At the end of Dissida, WoL is seen walking towards Cornelia, and one could assume it's too begin his journey of the first FF game. Also in the original Dissidia Garland tells Chaos that they are one and the same, but the files in 012 are contrary to that statement. None of this is Canon, but the point is theory craft to keep people talking about the game.
That's just my interpretation of it though.
@@kidhavii Oh yeah I certainly agree, lots of stuff has been left open in his storytelling and I've certainly followed along with that, but Dissidia had explicit bits of information that told Dissidia Chaos's origins and that's what I've been running off of, not just the discrepancies between the games.

The Utter Chaos attack looks great even to this day. Shinryu in NT felt like a huge step down compared to Chaos in this game.
Chaos uses Shinryu as a summon in both Dissidia games. In the first game, it could mimic ANY summon including heavy hitters like Omega and Ultima Weapon. It got nerfed for 012 because that made the Chaos fight absurdly difficult.

why can't we get Final Fantasy games like this anymore?
Well, for one thing, gameplay wise, it isn't really a Final Fantasy game. It's a fighting game with a unique combat system that uses FF characters, and since Dissidia NT flopped, the chances of getting another Dissidia Final Fantasy game are pretty low. Though it would be awesome if we could get a Dissidia game that uses the gameplay of FFVII Remake, it would be so much fun.
@@MegamanZXOmega I wasn't referring specifically to the gameplay, though if we're being honest modern FF more closely resembles Dissidia than traditional FF.

Not necessarily, cause modern FF games still require strategy and tactics despite being able to fully control the characters, unlike in Dissidia where you can just charge in and beat the hell out of your opponent. Also, I know you weren't referring to the gameplay, I'm just saying that Dissidia technically isn't an actual Final Fantasy game and that the flop of NT makes it unlikely another one will be made.

There's no similarity to Dissidia's "charge in and beat em up" gameplay at all. and if you knew I wasn't referring to the gameplay, then why did you act as if I were?

That rude sarcasm really doesn't help you at all. It gives me full reason to not take you seriously anymore, especially when I've been nice this whole time. And I didn't act like anything, all I said was that the flop of Dissidia NT assures the series won't likely continue, all while I was simply briefly explaining the difference between Dissidia and Modern FF gameplay and why the former aren't actual FF games because of it, I'm sure anyone could have figured that out easily. As for your ignorant sarcasm, anyone who actually played any of the modern FF games can debunk your claims, I know I can since I've been going back and forth between FFVII Remake part 1 and 2, FFXV, and Stranger in Paradise FF, and yes I can confirm that you cannot spam your abilities as you think and charging in to mash your basic attack combo isn't a viable strategy at all as it'll very likely get you killed, you have to plan your moves and wait for openings to exploit and dodge or block at the right times, all that requires tactics to assure a smooth fight with less damage. Not like you care, apparently, nor would I bet you would actually read this, so have a good day, kiddo.

Well executed, handled with the cheese the sort of boss designed to be unfair deserves!
Keith David is the va you're required to hire when you NEED your character to have the sexiest male voice possible.
I still have some PTSD from the second phase song. I just hear "The marching band the marching band the marching band" over and over and I never wanted to hear it again.
I think I ultimately cheesed the fight with Cecil's aerial abilities to finally beat the campaign.
The Messenger - Chaos battle music, is one of my favorites :)

This game was/is something extremly special ... had around 300 hours in both psp titles and holy shit bcs of your uploads i started to miss these games like crazy, time to dust of my psp ! 😭😭😭
What did you think about the story and gameplay so far?
Story is alright, I'm not a huge fan of the not chronological order story divided by all these characters. I'd prefer linear story.
I had to get used to the Gameplay, being stuck in animations is one of the annoying things.
@@BuffMaister Plus side is nearly all the characters feel relatively equally powered. I said nearly because Chaos and Feral Chaos I feel are the exceptions, which they're kinda supposed to be anyway.
From what I heard of Dissidia NT, they tried to do a rock-paper-scissors sort of system, which is why I personally avoided the game. I wanna kick the shit out of any character using any character I like, not figure out who's weak against who like it's fricking Pokémon.
So fitting to have Warrior of Light be the one to fight Chaos.

In the battle mode pick your character then for the CPU pick Chaos. Make you purchase him the shop first.
The Messenger is such a great song...but it doesn't really fit chaos, does it? I feel like that was the reasong why Cantata Mortis was so different
Only reason I can think for it is just the music's forward momentum and uplifting tone. Chaos does want to lose, right?

Its grey area, when they return to their realm you can asume they lost all of their memories because of the gods or Shinryu's influence...still is a theory that could lead to a really good sequel...an ultimate "final" Final Fantasy
