The second last chaos made me almost give up on finishing this game but when I beat him then got to the final one I beat him first try with squall and I can genuinely say that this is one of the hardest bosses in gaming I have never had to focus so much in one battle I spammed everything I had it took 2 hours just one battle but it was worth it. I still can't believe this is a PSP game.
I always imagined that the shift in the music mirrors a battle that is going horribly wrong at first for the Heroes of Light and then tides turn in their favor :D
It took me 3 yrs and two months to beat Feral Chaos, I never realized how difficult he really was until I fought him. I would slip one brave chain I was done, and I took me getting him to down to a quarter heath and my brother taking over and beating him, because my hands began to cramp from being hours of trying to beat him. I had Cecil, Warrior of Light, Squall, Sepheroth, and Cloud. When my brother and I finally beat him, I swore I was never going to fight him again. But this was a great game one of my favorite.
The easiest (also the longest and probably the most cowardly) way to beat him is to wear the training ring accessory (makes you pretty much powerless unless you have other accessories on). He'll become very docile; he'll just break your bravery over and over, hardly use hp attacks (actually, after breaking your bravery, he'll hardly attack at all), and nearly every time he uses a summon (which also becomes extremely often) it'll usually switch your bravery (you'll end up with 9999, he'll end up with 0) It takes a while (read: a day), but it works. (I found out because I was just so tired of fighting him and went "Fuck it. Let's put on the fucking training ring." You can imagine my surprise.)

Ok so this is my characters that are level 100. 1. Cloud (when I first play Dissidia 1, I always use Cloud 'cause I know him) 2 Squall 3. Sephiroth 4. Tidus. Oh well, better go level up all my characters to battle that boss.
That's so cute guys. I used one character and it took me 15 minutes to finish Feral Chaos off, used Cecil LvL 100 The trick is to use that one summoning stone (the one with the three faces) that destroys his summoning stone once and for all ^__^
*by 200+% Also, equipping Alexander AUTO to Cloud is really helpful, as you can easily break FC using just Sonic Break and Slashing Blow with minimal risk to your BRV/HP. By the time you break him and Alexander is activated, you should have at least 1 bar of Assist Gauge. If you ground slam him, and your Assist is Tifa, activate her and them you'll get the glowing X prompt and you can combo into Slashing Blow + Omnislash Version 5.
You can. Yuna was my main in the game and found that you can spam the mega flare if used at the right time... It was cheap.. found the game less boring by doing that.

4 of your characters that you have are on my roster. - Lightning - Sephiroth - Warrior of Light - Cloud Strife. But I switched out Sephiroth for Prishe/Shantotto/Jecht. Still trying to get used to those three so I can assign them to the roster.
My lineup for this was Cloud with his finishing touch and omnislash, then Lightning using her thunderfall, then Bartz as a troll, and I finished him with Sephiroth. I now have Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Bartz, Golbez, Kain, Feral Chaos, and Lightning and level 100
Can't remember my equips although I do know I #murked Feral chaos using Tidus by always using his dodge attacks after he attack followed up by a chain quick hit, I took out more than a 3/4s of his life with Tidus alone, then had Squall finish the job
Good thing I still have my Dissidia 1 save data. It only has 4 characters that are level 100. I'm just glad that Dissidia 012 allows you to copy your old Dissidia 1 save data into the game! Thank goodness I don't have to work hard leveling up all my characters or else it will give me a hard time finishing the game

Just beat FC today with Sephiroth, Squall, Lightning, WoL and Cloud , all lv100 (in that order). It's pretty easy like that without having to go out of your way to have extended EX Mode duration or stuff like that. With Sephy you basically keep Scintilla spamming him if you wall-smash him with an initial HP attack. With Cloud, have Excalibur and then use Valour Resin + Incense to buff his initial BRV by 75-100%. If FC is down to about 25k HP by the time you get to Cloud, you've done it.
Well its a bit late but.... When i played 012 beating feral chaos, I use onion knight, his fast and the abilities are pretty good too! Assist can't remember but I know he uses dark and light and in air his HP attack is "Saint Fall". Even though Onion knight's bravery attacks are small, does damage if making a combo.
Did this boss on 10 min with terra. Pretty Easy, use xp boost stuff(excaliburII, chocobo feather, chocobo wing and supper ribbon), xp to EX, then enter ex mode and spam firaga(if you lose your ex mode), Holy+ultima and meltdown.
david Henry Squall - Blasting Zone Firion- Lord Of ARms, Weaponsmaster, Shield Bash. Cloud- Omnilash ver.5, Finishing Touch. WoL- Rune saber These are some of the spams he simply CANNOT avoid. Specially Blasting ZOne, unless they patched it. I play ISO so I dunno,
The Observer Don't forget how hard of a time Feral Chaos has dodging Yuna's Megaflare. Also Zidane's Tidal Flame can be spammed pretty much endlessly, but it takes ages for Chaos to get hit :D
you know, i managed to beat him with just 2 guys at lvl 100 : yuna and sephiroth, sephiroth first got him down to 90 000 hp and then ( to my own amazement, ) i managed to take him down with yuna by non-stop dodging and spamming mega flare on him. rly, if any1 is going to try this , i truly recommend yuna. congrats on beating him by the way, great job
@BeForU648 your fighting the manikan version. Once you fight him, you'll learn how to deal with some of his attack moves, even though REAL feral chaos is @lvl.130 and uses other attacks as well.

No. In the last part of story mode, you can choose 5 character to go on some sort of "hardmode" adventure where you have to battle high level manikins to get to him.
Let me tell you now; onion knight lvl100 with branching skills shordshower and guiding swipe become INVALUABLE, I easily got feral chaos from 125k to around 80-90k
Well it's easy to pwn Feral Chaos by Cloud, Yuna and Terra. Terra has a Tornado attack which some attacks of the opponent can be blocked by that. Cloud, using by his Omnislash. For Yuna, Mega Flare (lolololol edge of madness is small so yea) I also recommend to use EXP to HP.
I beat him with lvl 100 team which is... Leon, Sephiroth, Yuna, Kuja and Warrior of Light. I took advantage of his poor defense and used bravery attacks like crazy and Hp after 3000+ bravery. It was easy to fight him. I know Feral Chaos moves very well. Yes he was hard. It took me about 15 minutes.
@TheDusk14 Well... the real kick gave me a "normal" team against the Feral Chaos. It's much more harder as with a smithing sould Yuna and that grants a lot of fun, you know?^^ and with Feral Chaos you can even solo Feral Chaos! :D

The easiest way is equip those breakable accessories ..boost your brv spam hp attacks or combo..don't even think of breaking his brv he's really tough defense..and boost your hp equip exp to hp atleast more than 10khp...

By "fully playable" does that mean you unlock Chaos as a character that you level up, train, play as, etc? Or just as a vs character?
If im not mistaken ( since it was an eternity i play this game ) you can unlock him and "buy" in the store

mass exp items on cloud and exp -> ex force with good boosters and just spam omni and finishing touch
