Honestly, easily one of the coolest quotes in the entire story, and just one of my favorite Tidus Quotes in general.
It is the coldest and most badass line ever dropped in gaming.
The best grudge match out of all of the heroes and villains. Dissidia really did Tidus and Jecht’s relationship better than FFX did imo
You say that, Opera Omnia did this father and son dynamic a lot better than FFX. Mostly by the fact that they actually managed to fill in the important plot holes and added underutilized character moments that the rest of the series didn’t have at first!
yea, I especially love how they were in Dissidia NT's story, it was nice.
To be fair, most of the time, Jecht was busy piloting a whale and doing whale shit.

This boss fight should be regarded as the gold standard for fanservice. You don't need any additional context to understand who these characters are and why they're fighting, and for people with the context this serves as a great payoff for the unresolved build-up in the story these characters came from. I remember a few years back I got someone who never even played a Final Fantasy game into Dissidia out if interest for its story just by showing them these cutscenes.
Honestly one of the best Boss fights from the Original Dissidia. The intro scene from this fight never ceases to get me hyped up.

Square hasn't given people a chance to see how Jecht fought before he became Sin so I'm not sure maybe Jecht Blade is the only one I could see him doing in his human form
