This was so clean. A lot of love went into it. The way each hero leaves counted down from 10-2 with Warrior of Light being home the whole time. Omega we know in stranger of paradise’s final dlc was made to combat the gods, or in Nil’s eyes ‘beings arrogant enough to call themselves gods’.
@@JB6GD684 You mean it provides more "development". The problem is that there is a difference between a retcon developing a setting, and changing it. "Contextualize" and "recontextualize." A good example of this would be how Cid developing a living weapon and escaping with it did not affect FF1 because the Lufaine were already destroyed by the time of it, and so their experimentations were moot. The mere presence of Omega as you describe it does not change the events of Dissidia, it does not even touch on it. Hell, even the Emperor doesn't matter since he could just have lost his memories of this at some point in the cycles. But how the events of FF1 are recontextualized is no mere development of the setting, it fundamentally alters the nature of the conflict itself. Now, not only are the warriors of light pawns to the Chaos and the Fiends in regards to the time loop, but even their eventual victory against Chaos is just another part of the plan. To appreciate such a retcon is to disrespect what originally was, and while that may be deserved for some stories, I believe it is a undeserved for FF1.
@@vadandrumist1670 you’re right, the setting is very much re-contextualised. The initial character of Garland is changed into a character put on by Jack, he is or rather was playing a villain in order to get the warriors of light to kill him. I say ‘was’ because when Jack and Dissidia Garland meet in opera omnia, the personality differences are noticeable, but we know these 2 are the same person. If the whole living for battle, craving the fight thing is just an act, then he doesn’t drop it. Which leads me to believe that after a while, Jack aka Garland, lost himself. If you lie/joke about something enough eventually you’ll start to believe it. But I’d also say by the nature of Dissidia existing, in alters the story of ff1. Garland is not some dark knight who had the hots for the princess and wanted to be immortal, no he’s a bloodthirsty maniac who lives for combat. The cycle is not a means to an end for dissidia garland, it is the end, it is the goal.

It does not improve FF1's story, it undermines it by changing the premise entirely.

This was epic...
i never play any final fantasy dissidia game on except operia mania on android phone.hope someday these game will release on ps4 or
ps5.also i don't have psp.😅😅😊😊
Well you could play it If you have psp emulator on your android phone
They should remaster this for the PS5
So as the mercenaries it is just another mission for squall.
That's not 012
It is
Duodecim packaged all the original Dissidia campaigns which unlock after you beat the 012 scenario.
I like the ending OST is from FFXII
