I love to travel and when I was young I always wanted to be a missionary. However I am born and raised in Florida. Thank you for bringing the reality of it to me, I would terribly miss my family and friends.
I do miss them terribly but moving here was also the best decision I ever made. If you ever have the chance to travel part time I always recommend it 😊

I’m from El Salvador living in Oklahoma. I have 2 wonderful children with a gringa well, some (Cherokee, Osage and some European decent countries) so - my kids are like a pupusa revuelta. I love the southern region, I even started listening to country music. I am not used to eating grits; which it seems to be something big around here especially for breakfast. Anyway, I myself would like to think I’m a citizen of the world and so are my kids. Yes, moms are awesome like Wonder Woman as they can fix anything - including the world. Thanks for enjoying my country and embracing my culture as I love your country and embraced your culture. My heart is now divided; which is absolutely fine.

I completely understand the divided heart but I think its like when you have your second child...your love doesnt split in half your heart simply doubles in size

Hi Carol! I found you channel last night. I love it. Your family is adorable. It is so nice to know you love El Salvador so much! I was born there but moved to the States in my early teenage years. I visited like 12 years ago. Now I'm amarried and would love to take my Chinese-American husband to visit and see how beautiful my birth country is and not to worry about how things are portrayed in the news. It's always the negative things, but El Salvador is so much more than that.

Yeah....they are good... But it's not the same as grandmas recipe and it's pricey. They have pumpkin pie at pricesmart right now too and tiny pie pumpkins for $4 (about half the price of selectos) so I'm totally going to make one from scratch next week 😜

I miss my family, friends, and target.....I love it! We just spent the last two years as expats in Tokyo, Japan. It was a great experience but I also missed Target. At least they had Costco though!
Japan sounds so exciting! You must have amazing stories. 😊 Target is the only thing still missing for sure 😂 but it sure helps keep the budget in line 😂
I have lived in different parts of the EUA, I grew up and attended school in Northern Virginia including college. I have travel the world but, El Salvador is unique Everytime I go there I do not want to come to USA. Life there is so much calm, the food is really organic and the people are friendly, life is in a different pace, I feel the days are longer there. I hope in couple years move there, I bought house in San Miguel, so there is where I would like to live. Thank you for sharing with us God bless 🙏

You can find apple pie and pumpkin pie at San Martin bakery, pumpkin is seasonal and apple pie is available year-round from what I remember :)
Yeah....they are good... But it's not the same as grandmas recipe and it's pricey. They have pumpkin pie at pricesmart right now too and tiny pie pumpkins for $4 (about half the price of selectos) so I'm totally going to make one from scratch next week 😜

I miss my family, friends, and target.....I love it! We just spent the last two years as expats in Tokyo, Japan. It was a great experience but I also missed Target. At least they had Costco though!
Japan sounds so exciting! You must have amazing stories. 😊 Target is the only thing still missing for sure 😂 but it sure helps keep the budget in line 😂

I have lived in different parts of the EUA, I grew up and attended school in Northern Virginia including college. I have travel the world but, El Salvador is unique Everytime I go there I do not want to come to USA. Life there is so much calm, the food is really organic and the people are friendly, life is in a different pace, I feel the days are longer there. I hope in couple years move there, I bought house in San Miguel, so there is where I would like to live. Thank you for sharing with us God bless 🙏
