What a bunch of morons who did this to him. They horrifically killed someone due to their careless incompetence.
They should have the same happen to them.
fr how do you just forget someone’s down there for a minute??????
The worst part is that he was probably only making like 10 bucks an hour. Poor guy.
Yeah sure that was the worst part... You think if he was making a 100$ and hour it would have been better?
@@Changes81 he means he risked so much for something that barely gave him anything, also i don’t really work so is 10 bucks an hour a bad thing? or a good thing ?
@@Changes81 yes it worth his life .. let’s do calculations 100 x 8 = 800 x 5 = 4000 x 4 = 16000 x 12 = 192,000 a year x 20 = 3,840,000 $ as of 10 x 8 = 80 x 5 = 400 x 4 = 1600 x12 = 19,200 x 20 = 384,000 $ 😝
@@whitelatte6618 I know what he meant... but it's neither here nor there. And I guess it depends on what state you're r in but 10$ is probably average pay in my opinion I don't really know what min wage is but 9-10 seems average
@@sittinonthedockofthebay7002 I'm not convinced why don't go meet your maker and then find him and ask him if it was worth it... I mean aren't you just dying to know?? 🙂
What a terrible way to die, especially for someone who meant so well and was trying so hard to help his family. Thank you for always being so respectful to the people whose lives end so tragically. You’re the best.
Jesus loves you all very much repent and believe onto Him and be saved from eternal punishment of sin amen, Jesus DIED for you
I can’t even begin to imagine the thoughts and adrenaline that happened when you hear that machine turn back on, and there is absolutely nothing you can do
It must have been terrifying beyond comprehension. Even thinking about it makes me shudder. The only consolation is that his suffering is over now.
I can but it makes my skin crawl doing so. Believing you're otw to certain death Is a crazy feeling, living thru it gives you a whole new outlook on life.
Wow I hope that company got sued till they went bankrupt. The supervisor AND operator need to be charged with manslaughter as well!
Oh God. This is a terrible story. I'm so sorry for this youngster's family. May they find peace.
I hate when people risk others lives rather than their own
damn I felt bad for this man. May he rest in peace.
LOCK OUT TAGS/Procedure!
This is criminal, I hope they were held accountable.
May he rest in peace♥
..so he was crushed to death on his first day of work, in an accident easily preventable.
It's high time we change the way we look at workers as if they are expendable.
They didn't think he was expendable they accidentally crushed him big difference
I think it was barely the first hour he worked too
@@anavillalta5774 I swear to God if it was the first hour they straight up killed him I work in a factory and that is not something you should do on your first day let alone the first hour
@@larryyasmin7128 No accident, just irresponsible and incompetant, all responsible should be fired, prosecuted and go to prison for a long time.
I got chills just from hearing how he died. Poor guy.
It’s just SO sad. He was just trying to be a good employee.
Locking and tagging truly does save lives. Good companies enforce it.
It was scary,I did a lockout tag out on a machine that I had to climb into and do maintenance, just for s&g I checked to see if it could still be powered on and it did.i told the shift manager,I was pissed
Seems like someone would have made sure that didn't happen. I'm sure they got something in place now. Always interesting to watch and well told story. Great video
It's a process called lock out tag out. The machine is called a palletizer.
He should have made sure that didn't happened. His boss should face jail time.
@@martingarno9815 it was the employee fault not the boss
They. already had something in place to prevent it, they deliberately decided not to use the procedure- Watch the longer video. could have been easily prevented.
Generally it's called lockout tagout and is mandatory safety precaution where you padlock the controls in any factory type setting where you work on or clean machinery
That poor man a solid work ethic killed him. Happy Holidays!
I work with thousands of pounds of steel sin beams at Steelcon and this should NEVER have happened. Lock out procedures are there for a reason and that white hat that turned the machine back on before ensuring that nobody was in the danger zone is COMPLETELY AT FAULT. I hope he’s paying for the loss of that young mans life.
Trust me, he is. If it was intentional, he will be locked in a mental prison that soldiers get locked in by the creator
Noone should have to die at their workplace from preventable accidents…😔
Because his employer didn't want to be wrong he sent an untrained, entry level worker, day 1 on the job, to clean up glass under machinery that a trained maintenance worker should have been cleaning up. Not only that let's question the numbnuts who turned it back on, did no one talk to...ANYONE like hey let's pause until that guy we sent to sweep it all up is done
No Mfs wanna go What Guy as this poor man is pancaked against the factory floor
No shit, and it had to have been that supervisor that ordered him to go clean the glass in the first place. The bloods on the supervisor's hands IMO
Someone definitely should be held accountable. Its unacceptable for someone to suffer such a tragic and painful death on the behalf of someones negligence.
@@b.g.7381 Exactly. That POS supervisor should never have told him to clean up the glass unless he could be absolutely certain that no-one would turn on the machinery while he was doing it. That supervisor should be charged with manslaughter.
Osha will definitely be in touch.
Prayers going out to his friends and family
This is such a sad story. This poor kid was so excited about his first job and because his coworkers couldn’t be bothered he loses his life. That’s heartbreaking. 😢🤬
That was a horrible death🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾 OMG I can't imagine. I wish he would've let them know he was gonna go down there to clean that glass up so that something like that DIDN'T happen, my heart is really paining for him just HORRIBLE
Safety precautions such as lock, tag, clear, and try should have been implemented factory-wide. Day lost his life because of rushing to get the job done. Hope this company had to pay out of their a$$ for killing someone out of negligence. Prayers for his family, friends, and coworkers. 🙏
As a mother with one son I would own that company you can believe that.....
My name is Lisa too and I also only have one son! And I second your statement!
Very often in the UK these sorts of accidents occur when the business allows 2 native languages to be spoken on the floor, say English and Polish, and the immigrant workers often outnumber the natives in these circumstances. As such new employees who do not speak in the dominant tongue on the shop floor are exponentially at more risk of miscommunications leading to serious accident and injury.
Very interesting point about the two separate languages. It really does make a difference. This is why I like hearing other people’s perspectives. Thank you
I always feel weird liking these types of videos cause I feel so sad for the person that died but ur content is good.
I feel so sad he was trying to do his job.. R.I.P day we will miss you❤
Sad story. 😟I used to work in that kind of machinery and it was super scary… I locked out everywhere and still felt uneasy going in
saddest way to die man, I feel so bad for his family and himself rest in piece 🙏🏾
I'm angry and sad about this at the same time.
Geeesh poor man 🥺
I hope they sued the hell out of the company
Omg, I’m so sorry for him and his family.RIP
Why can't I stop watching these videos??!! Can someone please tell me why? Lie to me if you have to. Stay safe and God bless
If my boss asks me to get in a confined space even with a lockout tag, I'd say no.
I heard of this story before and its even more sad knowing he was so proud he got job his first job and the last one 😢
Thats why “lock out tag out” was put into use
They should have some kind of censore that makes sure nothing is under there when they start the machine and if something is under the machine the machine will stop instantly
thats so sad GOD BLESS HIM and his family
This was the first job this guy ever worked and his first day. Tragically, this was the last job he would ever work.
My heart is broken for him and his family 😢😢😢
Damn. This was hard to listen too. Poor fella’ may he RIP. ✝️
THEY KNEW HE WAS DOWN THERE
Awesome work.. happy holidays to.you and your extended family..
Thank you for the video!!!
That’s horrible I hope his family sued the SHT out of them!
This was one of the saddest story I ever heard
I love your stories, and hate them at the same time
I can't imagine people dying every day this is just so cruel
Thanks. Great video
Omg how horrendous. Those guys are accountable for sure. Poor guy
This is sad. Rest in peace man
I’d love stories that ppl don’t end up dying pls😌
I NEED MORE LONGER VIDEOS! THANKS MR.BALLEN. WE LOOOVE U!

Ughh poor guy..RIP ❤️🙏
Damn R.I.P bro 🙌🏼
Lock out tag out super important !!
Always a fan... like his longer videos. But always happy to hear his videos.
His videos are good, but watching this one certainly didn't make me happy!
That is so sad and tragic!!
so Day was told to clean the glass, yet he was crushed by the dudes who told him to clean it in the first place?
Damn I feel so bad for day and his family.
there's no justice for the already dead.
😔😑 that is f'd up👎 R.I.P Day🙏
Ive watched every video from Mr ballen I need more 🤣🤣
But the company wouldn't have given a f*ck about his death whereas his family would be crying painfully on losing day
Who said they would not have given a fuck
@@larryyasmin7128 do you think they would have?
This story hit different, it was so sad to hear about this
One costly word…NEGLIGENCE….💲💲💲
why are you the 🐐 🙌🏽🙌🏽‼️
So preventable and sad.
Damn, that's horrible. Rip
Goodmorning Mrs ballen ❤️ early morning stories I just love
The guys didn't want to do a lock/out tag/out because they didn't want to slow down production. Nothing like a dead body to slow production way down via investigation.
Noooo I feel sorry for everybody who died on this series
Respect to u my guy!!😉
I don't feel sorry for you being a simpleton.
Yayyyy Mr Ballen uploaded 😁😁😁
I am a palletizer operator at a ketchup plant and our palletizers are very similar to the ones at Bacardi. My partner and I always yell "CLEAR" when we have gotten out of the machine. And if we don't know where the other person is, we dont start up until we see that they are clear. Ketchup isn't worth anyone's life.
My company has "lock out tag out" safety precautions where Day would have put a lock on that machine and only Day could've taken it off before it could be operated
WOW! Great story MrBallen, though very tragic. Thanks., and Happy Holidays from Little Rock to you and your Family.
bruh, you just want likes right?
"WOW!!!! GREAT STORY MRBALLEN"
are you serious?
Companies need to have better safety measures in place to avoid such tragedy of life.
My heart 💜 goes to his family. Rest In Peace
What happened to LOCK OUT TAG OUT!!!! That is always the rule whenever working on anything!!!!!
I remember hearing about this years ago sad
I’m surprised he had time to scream.
I hope his family sued the living daylights out of that company
I remember this story ... poor guy
Had an acquaintance die because half his body was crushed by granite. A pallet fell over on top of him. Either his left or right side. He was believed to have dropped his phone and trying to reach for it before he died. The family. 😪 It broke my heart the pain they were in.
That’s terrible. So sad.
I think I invented this quote: "The farther we go forward, the farther we go backwards." Basically it means that the farther we advance in technology, the farther we go backwards. Look at what we can do to people nowadays.
Lockout tagout is so crucial with any machinery.
Oh Jesus 😞
What happened to the longer version of this one to wind up as a short?
I remember when this happened. 😕
Waitin on another long story ballen cmon now Brotha 😆
If you working hard and don't feel comfortable about something don't put yourself in a position like this especially if you working through a temp service they can careless...
Terrible. Poor guy. Hope his family sued.
His family should sue....
aww man...
I don’t comment . But he is the best you tuber I recommend you watch all the old story’s and new ones.
People better start looking after themselves more , people sometimes do things purposely ,
So sad!
I hope his family sued that company for everything it had
Wow. Lock out tag out comes to mind.
Zamnx😍, that hurt😫😫😫
I hope his family was paid.
