link not work?
My wallet cried while watching this short
Dude is like the John Wick of streaming
at least 80k worth of electronics
and 10 viewers
Just stay away from my dog

I WISH youtube had a favourite/bookmark feature or at least a way to save short to a playlist so I can look at this again later!!
I second that
Click the share button and add it to one note. Or a notepad app.
Just do what I do, I have an entire channel on a private discord with just me and bots on it that I use to share links with myself with a brief description of what it is and why I put it there
Click on save/Play later. Then click add new playlist & add videos
You can go to your video history and there you should be able to see the short while watching it.
There you can click the three dots and add it to any of your playlists..
A option to add in within the short would be nicer of course..
I'd like to see this setup in a regular video instead of condensed into 11 seconds
Can you make a video on how you set up your beacn in wave link? Did you have to make any adjustments in the beacn software first?
Seeing dust on your shotgun mic affirms for me that you're a real person and lets me know that I don't have to be perfect to produce something amazing.
That was deep
*looks at my blue yeti that feeds into a usb 3.0 port
Yeah, we’re the same.😎
I hate my blue yeti I have thought about yeeting it out of my window many a time
Best part of making content is the set up and buying new equipment. That’s what Lew from unbox therapy is so happy
Would you be able to make a video on how you set all of that up please? That’s a very interesting setup that deserves a video tutorial.
you are my favorite tech tuber and i just wanna stop to appreciate you for that. tysm for everything u do for us.
would love to see an in depth video of your streamer x unify settings like you did with the go xlr it was so helpful!
If you have an iPhone and obs you can now use it as a webcam as well as audio input. You could grab something like the shure mv88 and just record from there. I have an sm7b paired with the iPhone and just hit record so the audio is also already synced
How do you link external mics to the wave link software?
From my understanding only the Wave Mics can be used with the software
He has Stream Deck Plus that pretty much allows it.
Also, you can do this with Wave XLR or any Elgato mic, if you want a double mic setup.
For instance, I have Elgato Wave :3 and I can link a mic from my VR headset into Wave Link.
Perfection is your content, so chill to watch 😊
It's fucking amazing how someone that claims to have a degree in audio engineering somehow fell for the dynamic background noise fallacy.
great setup 💪😎
..the NGT4 is pretty dusty 😂
I bought the wave 3 because of your videos, I really love the vst’s and just wanted to let you know how helpful your videos were
That RGB makes the sound better.
This is just over the top 😂
What lenses are you using on the Sony? It’s not linked in the bio, mate
I tried to use 2 Mics at the same time streaming with my GF in the same Room and the echo was rough, tried everything i could think off with Voice meeter, including compressors and noise gates, same with OBS but to no availe, 😂. A video tutorial with multi Mic to either single or duo pc stream would be amazing Senpai Harris. Love your videos.❤
So, why wavelink software for the microphone? Please
I love the idea of using the Rodecaster Pro 2 in Wave Link! I'd be curious to see your setup as I have both of those pieces of hardware!
Damn you have a sick setup!
How did you EQ the beacn mic with wave link? Isn't the beacn software better for the audio configuration for the beacn mic?
That shotgun mic just got drug out of a closet! There’s an inch of dust up there…
Do you use any kind of muting software or EQ for the dynamic mic to remove key presses and click sounds? I'm using the wave 3 with nvidia broadcast, but im not a fan of the .5second lag that Broadcast causes. While im willing (reluctantly) to accept the lag, I would rather have clean audio with no White noise coming through. Also, to note, im using SteelSeries Sonar instead of the wave software cos I KNOW the software, and Voicemod for live soundboard and audio funnies. Any suggestions?
That NTG-4 is so good it even picks up dust!
Looks sick. Now can we have the "I'm a broke ass" Walmart/Target version? 😆
That's pretty cool. Instead of a streamdeck, I use a launchpad with MidiControl. It's like a streamdeck+ but then with 64 buttons instead of 8 (no screen though, and MIDIcontrol is a bit more limited). It's a good alternative if you already own a launchpad.
Do you record files onto the memory cards or do you simply stream to OBS and record on-computer?
That's one way to do it. The best part is not having to adjust audio in post.
What lens is on that a7iv?
I never thought to use 2 mics and mute the overhead when button mashing. 🤔
Nice nugget to use later.
I would love to use Rode Hardware for an interface but their lack of digital channel support is holding me back. I would love to see a more in depth breakdown of this setup.
This was actually really helpful. Looks like I have a streamdeck + and a Rodecaster on the way. 3 mic setup of my dreams is about to be a reality.
Bro I wish I just had a setup lol watching these is like watching a golden ticket winer xD
The Harris flex is real
I use the DJI wireless lav mic and never looked back. the mic is always on me so I set it and forget it!
I'm still using the goxlr mini with astro mixer pro tc to get my console audio to my pc an stream thru slobs..
I only do work from home. But i love your contents. Despite not being able to stream. I enjoy good audio
How can I connect my rodecaster pro to my elgato capture card, to stream with my ps5 and separate my audio and use only one mic?
That shotgun mic is DUSTY!
Why the NTG-4 and not the 418 (other than needing 2 418s)?
And running audio through the preamps on Sony cameras does make life much nicer when it comes to audio sync.
Alrighty next is for you to show us how to setup and plug in everything!
Hey bro, can you make a RUclips video on how to get your wave link software into your road castor pro 2 because that would be my dream set up I just went and bought a rcp2 today not realizing that it didn’t have any digital software to bring all my audio into it like wave link does However I also want to use an XLR mic with it
I imagine you may have had this discussion with Rode before... Why cant we get a digital input/output into Windows for every source on the rodecaster? It would be so helpful and seems like a firmware fix could resolve that.
Bro, can you change scenes from the stream deck plus? I guess the dials are good for audio control, but can the keys be configured to xhange the scenes?
I just thought i can use the stream deck + for both audio settings and change scenes as a beginner i can save some money
Thank you in advance bro!
It’s a decent setup… only thing I would add is a chair microphone for your farts to make the streams more personable.
How often do you experience bugs with the wave link and stream deck software? My wavelink unlinks discord all the time, and stream deck controls for wavelink toggles and sliders often bug out and become red exclamation marks and unusable
would this set up be go for voice overs and narrations? i have a lil bit of a deeper voice and have been struggling with my audio set up
Hi, professional audio engineer here, what exactly are your issues? What equipment do you have? Because what is shown off here is not optimal for the kinds of work you describe.
set up is crazy
The dust on that ntg4 is love you don't move them good
2 mics when streaming seems a little much. I'd have to watch a stream of yours and see how the effect works
If you have to setup to mic, one XLR other usb. Would you setup with stream deck and wave Xlr or you have a better option ?
How do you use the wave link software? What hardware are you using to allow it to run? Neither mic is connected to the Wave XLR and I don't see a Wave 1 or 3 anywhere...
Quick question, how are you using the Rodecaster Pro 2 with the WaveLink software? I know you mentioned about the StreamDeck+. Can the StreamDeck+ be used with WaveLink to utilize non-elgato products for sound in the software?
Having to microphones on a streaming setup is a little bit excesive, for if I do 2 microphone, the setup is either a combine streaming and youtube recording setup, or a streaming and video recording with 1 mic and another one for music porduction
Or do both at the same time
i need help on adding my headset to obs, at the moment game sound comes from the xbox and that means i cant hear alerts from obs
I have been thinking about getting a shotgun mic recently for my stream setup. I was looking at the Rode and the Audio Technica and still not made up my mind.
DANG!!!
I'm confused do you always use the two mics or just beacn when gaming and the shotgun when only talking?
Any suggestions on making my shotgun mic sound good with the rodecaster pro 2 my shotgun mic sounds just kinda lack luster
Hey Harris, I would love a cameras video, i know you have one focused to streaming only but, i would like one about cameras to do photo, urban exploration, and why not, streaming on the wilds or something like that
Please make a video about how to record audio with software like audition or audacity (EQ, Compression, etc)
What kind of camera tripods do you use and recommend?
Nice.
Do you have any recommendation for a "portable" microphone? I am thinking about the Rode Wireless Go II. I want to add an additional micrphone: (1) a wireless microphone for Vlogs during conferences and interviews and (2) a lavalier mic (wireless or not does not matter) for videos in which I am running around and explaining things. Thank you for the recommendations.
As someone who hasn't even tried to understand the audio side of video editing, this looks like black magic
The rodecaster pro2 any idea when it’s going to get virtual cables?
What application do you use to record videos? Or do you just record straight to the camera and then upload to the computer?
Do you still have to use the beacn software for the initial mic balancing? Or can you just do all that in wavelink?
Harris! My beacn mic has really bad delay issues when inputting into OBS and FL Studio! Any suggestions on how to fix it?
I need a good Wave Link tutorial. I set mine all up but now the game audio cuts in and out. No filters on the game audio at all.
The whole not needing to sync audio thing sure sounds like a time saver, but I'm just having a hard time visualizing it!...
What's a perfect setup that only has one of anything? One camera, one mic, one audio interface, etc?
Also, I broke my audio interface & just bought the Pyle Microphone XLR-to-USB Signal Adapter since I only have one mic & I love it. Interested in your thoughts
This is literally the dreM
I just took a core 110F and programmed it to be everything for me
My GoXLR has given me nothing but problems lately that this... might need to become reality
How do you deal with the 80 Mili second delay (latency) coming from the wave link software? Mac user
please make a full video!
i have the same set up.. EXCEPT i sent the RCP2 back and got the StreamerX.. it does not feed through wavelink and i might send it back because of that..
I don't have any questions but daaaaamn do I wish I had the funds for a setup nearly this good.
And here I am thinkin im cool with my single Wave Link 3…
Senpai.. for tournament commentary is dynamic better then the other? (We have small grassroots level tournament)
Why not just run another dynamic mic plus computer audio through the Rodecaster and drop the Beacn and wavelink entirely?
I thought you could only use the wave mic with the wave link software!? 🤯
I have this issue where my mic audio cuts in and out, distorts, and sound robots, only over stream. (I listen to my streams live on a separate device with headphones.) This has been going on for a year, and there is nothing I've done has fixed it.
What light bar is that above your monitor?
Logitech Litra Beam
@@badgamer7836 cool thanks
WANT this audio setup kind of badly, except I've got a Shure SM7B into a GoXLR. I'd ideally like a GoXLR Mini for a shotgun microphone in the future, bc I also feel like having that massive microphone in your Just Chatting shot looks atrocious.
Can you do the audio setup in details? Maybe explain it thru obs or something please thank you
Hey! @harris So you switched away from the goxlr?
Is the streamdeck+ with the wave xlr better then the goxlr? Im thinking about switching aswell. What do you think?
Best from Austria!
I really would like to see a video: goxlr vs elgato streamdeck+ & wave xlr. Both using the shure sm7b. 🙏🏼
Why the "crunchy" BEACN mic over a similarly-priced, "legendary" SM7b?
When you live off of social media, every trick is good. I just use an Audio Technica 4050 with a pop filter and a Yamaha MG10XU mixer. I hate the fact that it picks up every dang sound.
What’s the purpose of the two microphones when live streaming/gaming?
I want to stream with my speakers on but my mic (ofcourse) picks up all the sound of the speakers. What should i do
I have figured out the perfect thing to do with channels like this it's clicking the three buttons in the upper right and then clicking do not recommend
So no more sm7b... which boom arm for the mic?
Maybe i missed some news/updates, but doesn't Wavelink require a Wave Mic connected at all times?
If you use a Stream Deck + you don't need a wave device
@@ozokuv thanks, wasn‘t aware of that
all of this seems really confusing to use, how do you keep track of what dose what?
