You and your sisters are truly angels for moving your mom to California, so that you all could take care of her during her cancer treatment. I'm 66 years old and have been undergoing treatment for Stage 3 lung cancer these past 11 months. It's not easy. I have two adult children my son lives in the same town and he seems begrudged when I ask him to do a chore or drive me to an appointment. My daughter lives in Georgia with her husband and rarely do I get a call with her saying hello mom, how you doing? I'm so damn tired of doing this alone. Especially during this holiday time. I see why some people give up or outright refuse treatment for their cancer. Currently been on immunotherapy for the past 8 months have four more to go. Really, the outcome is a dice roll. Whatever will be will be. Continue to smile down on me Lord. May the Lord be with you and your siblings be with you in this time of grief and forever. ✝️

I'm so sorry to hear this. My mom passed on July 31, 2021. The hardest part for me was watching my mom deteriorate before my eyes an entire year. My mom was eager to transition. It hurts so bad. I was at every doctor's appointment and the day came. I talked and kissed her until she took her last breath and her heart stop. My advice to you is to take it one day at a time, go to grief counseling because you're going to feel lost and alone even though you have siblings. Absent from the body is present with the Lord. I lost my mommy right after university and she passed away in my apartment. At the time my siblings and I didn't think we'd make it but we all felt surrounded by tremendous love and calm. I can't explain it but I feel as though she never left us. I know that you'll get through this my dear.

There is nothing more painful than losing a parent. I lost my father at 12 years old, from a stroke. My mother passed away 3 years ago from complications of cancer. I can't express how painful that felt. I feel your pain down in my soul, I know that feeling of talking about it and it just tearing your soul each time you discussed what happened. I know your pain, your pain is deep and it is raw to the core. It feels like your own soul is being torn in two and all you can do is cry. Your tears for your loss, moved me to tears, as I can feel your pain as if it were my own. Lost mine 5 years ago the first 3 years were hard very hard. Still feel like yesterday. And still cry about it … but the pain get better by the time but you always cry in any major event happening in your life… so far my graduations dates were the hardest or when something sad happen, and when people that’s don’t know you ask and your mom … it’s hard

Everyone would want to tell you how to grieve. Just do what you feel like in the moment. But always remember, she'd want you to be happy. I removed my mom from the care of the doctors because there was nothing left but to give her to the God of our salvation. The connection between my mother and I during her last days are priceless, much like yours. To change her adult diapers; to serve her; to sleep next to her in her own bed; to hear her tell me anything she wanted to tell me; to love on her; and so many other confidential/private love time between us will always always be what I remember including her last breath. My experience was exactly the same. The doctors try to spare us. They have compassion even when you dont think they do. I sat there like you when my son passed and I'm so happy he went peacefully. I sang to him and told him we would meet him there. They made sure he was not in pain and Lord knows I saw him in pain a few days before. RIP my Angel.

It’s ok to cry, sorry it happened on your Birthday, maybe you can celebrate the life she lived and the life you are living in her honor. I lost my mommy right after university and she passed away in my apartment. At the time my siblings and I didn't think we'd make it but we all felt surrounded by tremendous love and calm. I can't explain it but I feel as though she never left us. I know that you'll get through this my dear.

There is nothing more painful than losing a parent. I lost my father at 12 years old, from a stroke. My mother passed away 3 years ago from complications of cancer. I can't express how painful that felt. I feel your pain down in my soul, I know that feeling of talking about it and it just tearing your soul each time you discussed what happened. I know your pain, your pain is deep and it is raw to the core. It feels like your own soul is being torn in two and all you can do is cry. Your tears for your loss, moved me to tears, as I can feel your pain as if it were my own. I wish I could shoulder this pain for you, for anyone, it is a disheartening pain that I wish nobody has to ever go through. I'm truly sorry for your loss Shalom, I can't express my heart enough. It does get easier, no we will never forget the pain just becomes more manageable over time. Please also don't feel bad for discussing your experiences either- it's important for you to be speak your truthand sometimes it's painful. Omg Shalom, I’m so so sorry for your loss. My mother also passed from cancer so I get it. Both our moms are in Heaven free from illness & pain, I always try to remember that for some sort of comfort. Hearing you say how your mom would get up & go is so relatable and gave me a laugh 😂There’s nothing like the strength of our mothers. I feel like crap and I haven't been able to film a video concerning this for my RUclips because everytime I tried, I became a mess. My mom also has 3 daughters and I was really close to her. She also was a workaholic and didn't remember me at some point. I know exactly how you feel. Exactly how you feel. You should cry if you want to, laugh out loud, be indifferent. Everyone would want to tell you how to grieve. Just do what you feel like in the moment. But always remember, she'd want you to be happy. Seeing your video has given me strength to film one and talk about her in one piece. You're loved. ❣❣❣

I removed my mom from the care of the doctors because there was nothing left but to give her to the God of our salvation. The connection between my mother and I during her last days are priceless, much like yours. To change her adult diapers; to serve her; to sleep next to her in her own bed; to hear her tell me anything she wanted to tell me; to love on her; and so many other confidential/private love time between us will always always be what I remember including her last breath. You and your sisters have honored your mother and because of that your days upon the earth that the Lord our God has given, will be long and prosperous! God bless you and your family! My experience was exactly the same. The doctors try to spare us. They have compassion even when you dont think they do. I sat there like you when my son passed and I'm so happy he went peacefully. I sang to him and told him we would meet him there. They made sure he was not in pain and Lord knows I saw him in pain a few days before. RIP my Angel.

I remember your video when moved into an apartment to help your Mother during her cancer treatments. Talking about grief helps with the grieving process. It’s ok to cry, sorry it happened on your Birthday, maybe you can celebrate the life she lived and the life you are living in her honor. Grief counseling can be a very helpful tool to help you walk through the different stages of grief. My prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.🙏🏽
