Few Hollywood stars of the 1950s can measure up to the talent and celebrity of Sammy Davis Jr. Proclaimed as "Mr. Show Business," he was a fantastic performer both with his group the "Rat Pack" and with his individual acting and musical career. Not only was he a famous entertainer, he also participated actively in the Civil Rights Movement. Sammy Davis Jr's legacy is one for the ages.

My name is Scott Finley I watch Joe Condon engrave and inlay this gun.
He cast the gold inlays in a makeshift centrifuge made from an old washer. He also did the Elvis 1911!
WOW! That’s a real beauty. From back when famous people could be honest about loving guns without being blacklisted in the industry.
who's getting blacklisted from what industry for loving guns?
I remember him being on "The Rifleman" doing trick gun stuff.
Ah yes! He was on a couple times as different characters.
That is what I was just thinking. I believe he was on two episodes of "The Rifleman". He also exhibited those skills on his TV show. He was a great gun handler and also I believe he was a collector. Very talented guy.
He was very talented in gunhandling, swirling/tricks and fast draw.
I would give my right eye for that revolver!
Lol fantastic
Munkylaw
Ha ha ha ha, I see what you did there. Wait, was it his right eye or his left?
@@robertscott2210 his right eye
Not the right eye you need that one to shoot with
Well, I googled it and a pair of eyeballs is worth $1,500 on the black market, and this gun sold for nearly $20,000! Well you might say... "that sold for an arm and a leg!", and I googled that too and an arm and leg are only worth a few hundred each so I'm afraid you are SOL buddy.
Sammy Davis Jr had Some Really Cool Colt Revolvers 😀👍🏼 Can’t Wait
No mention of SD Jr's fast and fancy shooting and quick draw skills.
Yeah WTF ! Thats what I was watching for, along with the gun.
Yes fast draw was very good and so was his spinning. But I have never heard of “shooting skills”, before.

Rock Island Auction Company* Very Cool. God Bless.
Wow! Absolutely beautiful! Such attention to detail, a true piece of art.
The most beautiful handgun I've ever seen.....I bet it will sell for over $150k. RIA is simply amazing with the firearms they put out. The presenters are extremely knowledgeable, engaging and tell a a great story!
Under 20k. I would have thought some rappers would have bid it up higher. Someone got a deal.
You’re right, The man had so many talents. He was certainly a legend.
My heart. Such an amazing piece. Love these videos
I have always loved Sammy. Really amazed by his gun skills
Even though I come from a non gun culture and country I still respect his expertise with gun spinning. ❤❤
He was Also a Big Part of The Dean Martin Show 😎 He also Stared in Several Western Movies 😮😀😊 An Amazing Piece Of Art Sammy Spared No Expense In This Masterpiece 😀 Thanks Joel 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Breathtakingly beautiful. 👏
Saw another video where there was ANOTHER Sammy Davis, Jr. holster rig and Nickle plated Colt SAA Revolver, 7" barrel with his name spelled out on the pistol's back strap. Obviously, Sammy possessed more than one set up.
It reminds me a lot of the gun called "Lucky" from Fallout New Vegas, which of course has references to the Rat Pack, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a sneaky reference to his gun. There are some differences like the grip, but the similar gold engraving, the barrel length, even the caliber are the same as the one in game.
This is a nice video, I watched another on one of his fast draw peacemakers. I myself have 3 of his peacemakers in my collection. So I enjoy learning of other people and places that have 1 or 2 of his guns.....
Damn, a true Excalibur from USA
*tears drop
Ojala is a Finish name and the J is more like a Y. Oyala
There is a second version of Sammy's colt and that's Nickel plated and mother pearl gripped, and his buscdiro black leather gunbelt in the National Firearms Museum in the USA, and the gunbelt is almost the same as the one in this video.
This one was engraved by Joe Condon on Russell road in Las Vegas Nevada I watched him make the gun.
He was Hollywood we could be proud of...🤠
He had taste that’s for sure
Do you have any of Mel Torme's Colt 1873 SAA Revolvers from his HUGE collection??!! Wouldn't mind seeing a video on a few of the guns in his collection.
We do have items from his collection pass through from time to time.
I come alive each time a .45 begins to BANG BANG
This belongs in the Smithsonian Museum... No Joke... Plz someone save this national treasure from a national treasure!
Arvo Ojala's name is not pronounced like spanish name with h, he was of Finnish origin.
That is gourgous
Excellence
What's the song?
You'll shoot yer eye out, Sammy!
Length of the barrel?? Guessing it's 6 inch ??
its not even 45 long colt
nope ….. 357 mag
Yeah when did these start coming out in 357? I thought it was more recent.
We just need a little bit more money
He has a few colts single action army's
How much did it go for?
Sold for $19,550. Over its high estimate.
