Loved the idea of a “broken” Batman. One who lost his way as alluded to by Alfred a few times. We’re led to believe that he didn’t always kill, and wasn’t always such a loose cannon, but 20 years of broken promises, losses, and betrayals made him into the Batman we saw in BvS. I agree it was the material that let Ben down, but the biggest issue is he didn’t get a solo movie before BvS. Imagine seeing a solo film where Robin is alive and is Batman’s last thread to his moral codes. We see Robin killed by the Joker in the climax and Batman looses it. Then in the post credits scene we see the opening of BvS with Bruce running through the Metropolis wreckage. That would have set the audience up for a better understanding of where this Batman is at come BvS , and would give characters like Gordon more screen time.
I'd have the murder of Robin be like the cold open of bens solo batman movie I'd have it take place after man of steel but before BVS have deathstroke as the villain etc but I'd have it be more a character study of a broken batman then the post credit I'd have him watching footage of Superman
@@ryankeefe2102 Some people would have been mad, but Robin getting killed by Deathstroke would have set the tone and also made his death and Bruce's head space make a bit more sense. @@tylerbertram7065 I really loved JL Snyder Cutm MoS and BvS UE. Snyder tells his stories visually and he likes to show iconic comic book pages come to life. The thing is the external editing and cutting of these movies. They got dumped down. BvS especially. Major scenes for the plot got cut. The casting Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman was great.
Ben Affleck is the most comics-accueatw Batman as far as visually, and he had a very layered and interesting take. Frank Miller 's Batman on screen. I LOVED it. And personally, I consider him to be the best live-action Batman. (And so did Kevin Conroy.)
Kevin Conroy said Michael Keaton on the I Hear Voices Podcast (with Will Friedle) when asked who his favorite Batman was that wasn’t him or Will, when did he say Ben Affleck?

This whole thing is over a matter of opinion, and personality attacking people you don't even know, just for thinking differently is dumb I was serious about having a good weekend though. Cheers.
Totally agree! As teenager back in the seventies my favourite Batman in comics was drawn by legend Neal Adams. And what did we get in Movie? Tiny and stiff Michael Keaton! Frank Miller's Dark Knight! We get Val Kilmer and George Clooney! C'mon!!! And then: Nolan trilogy with great Chris Bale. But the best was yet to come: Batfleck. Best Batman incarnation on the big screen, we old fans have ever seen. But that's all my personal opinion - of course :)
@@josefhorndl3469 Neal was the MASTER! I actually got to meet him at a convention before he passed. And I got a commission of Batman and Robin from "The Dark Knight Returns". He couldn't have been nicer. Great, once in a lifetime experience!
Ben Affleck is aesthetically the best Batman ever put on screen, in and out of costume. He physically looks the part more than any other actor who’s ever took on the role, and on top of that, he’s a damn good actor. He has moments of brilliance in otherwise awful movies. With better material, he’s easily the best live action Batman.
When I first saw Ben Affleck as batman I loved it I loved how older her was he wasn't trying to be Micheal Keaton or Val Kilmer he was doing what he does best despite being old. His version was a much older Batman who has seen some bad things I picture him taking on Bane or Killer Kroc.
He’s my second favorite, and before Pattinson was my favorite live action Batman, I’ve always heard negatives about how he was written and never about his actual performance as Batman. Imo he did a phenomenal job, especially with what he was given, just the writing held his version back a little. Still love him as Batman, wish we could’ve gotten more with him
I'm glad you pointed out how he is. The most accurate portrayal visually. The biggest issue for me is so much of what the character was as well as his supporting cast needed their own movie outside of the Justice League.
@RobertK1993 they literally axed their highly anticipated Batwoman movie to pretend to save a buck. Just because you're dumb enough to fall for the propaganda, doesn't mean you should just announce that to strangers
It didn't happen because Ben Affleck had personal demons at the time and was adviced to not work on the movie further for his health. So he withdrew from the project. They later got Matt Reeves as the director who changed the original story and replaced Ben Affleck with Robert Pattinson.
Affleck fits the character perfectly. He exudes both Batman and Bruce Wayne. Unlike the other actors who looks good as Batman but is a misfit for Bruce or vice-versa. Kinda like Reeves for Superman/Clark, but I must say Henry does a good job too...
@@anjan17 I agree with this. His Clark Kent was really obviously Superman, but I think that one's on the costume and makeup department. They should've changed his hairstyle and dressed him in more loose fitting outfits. Some contouring to make his facial structure appear a but different would've helped too
@@randot6675 not only that but they should have let him act as clark kent as well , he is more clark kent in his regular days than he was in this 3 movie
For me, it's Affleck. His Batman was a great blend of Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns Batman, and the New Earth Batman post Killing Joke and Death In The Family.
He is easily top 3 with Bale and Keaton. He is the most comic book-accurate Batman, brooding, intimidating, violent, dark and an excellent Bruce Wayne. What else is he supposed to do, crack jokes? Go campy? ZSJL and BvS are great dark movies. I don't get how anyone can be on the fence regarding Affleck as Batman. He nailed it.
@fielalmanga When you say "You don't get how anyone can be on the fence about Affleck being Batman. He nailed it!"That's YOUR opinion he nailed it.But theres alot of people who don't think he did.We all got our favorites and I respect that. But imo Affleck and Pattinson didn't.There are things I do like about Afflecks version, I liked his portrayal in the Flash.
Snyder gave him a very shallow portrayal. I usually don't like referring to other videos, but The Closer Look gave by far the most comprehensive break down on what was wrong with Snyder's Batman: he doesn't exude enough of Batman's best characteristics to justify the character as Batman, appearance not withstanding. His compassion and intellect (like holy shit how do you fuck this up) just didn't receive enough justice, even though they're such integral parts ti his character. Then of course, Snyder's complete disregard for his moral code. Look, you can make your own version of grimdark edgelord Batman and have it work, but you need a damn good fucking reason beyond "muh realism muh edgy tone". Frank Miller's Batman stories worked because he handled this aspect of the Bat with the gravitas and respect it deserved: if you're going to make Batman kill someone, make it fucking matter. Don't just say "dude he went through sone shit bro" and have him mow down droves of petty criminals just to look cool, you need show the audience the justification for getting him to that point. Literally one of the most important rules to good fiction is "show, don't tell".
Zack Snyder wanted to tell the story of a Batman unlike everyone else before him. A Batman who fell so low after 20 years in Gotham that became cruel and relentless. The whole story of Batman is a hero again for the sacrifice of Superman.
Exactly! People seem to forget that very quickly. His story is 20 years down the road and killing for a reason. Don't get why that seems to go over people's heads or just want to ignore that fact and complain about killing or a bad script.
Batman does not kill people, I don't care how low he got. I don't care if the Joker sliced Robin's throat in front of him. He does NOT kill, period. Unless Snyder wanted to tell an Elseworlds story. The same with Superman. If he acknowledges that these aren't the canon version of the characters and he's making his own interpretations, then it's okay. That's why Injustice works so well. People know that's not canon, just another alternate timeline. Have as much fun as you want to tell these stories, no problem.
@@ventsislavstefanov9590 Plus, he has so much off screen development and we're expected to accept and care about this version of him without even getting to know him. Since he's late in his time as Batman.

Batman Ben Affleck became more violent after his partner Robin's death. Every batman in movies killed. Also, Batman (Ben Affleck) stopped killing at the end of Batman V Superman. The message of his arc is he becoming a hero again due to Superman's sacrifice.
"I failed him in his life. I will not fail him in his death." It was the fact that an alien was willing to sacrifice his life to save the world that reminds Bruce why he started doing this in the first place. It's why he makes the comment to Alfred that, for the first time in his life, he is going on faith. This shows comment was really meant to cement the fact he was not the same Bruce we saw through most of BvS. I will agree that Josstice league handled his change poorly, but you cannot put any on that on Ben. It's clear when you watch both versions that he really enjoyed being Zack's Batman. Joss... not so much.
The scene were Bruce(Batman) is looking at the costume of Robin. There’s something I never knew what I was looking at. I thought it was sadness but it was regret.
I believe the confusion that befell on Batfleck is the fact that the character starts out an an antagonist in BVS, then in Justice League starts the path of redemption. A very different take on the character.
No redemption for this version of Batman in either version of Justice League. As the so called nightmare future is entirely his fault. Because he is a duchebag that has to be right. By appearance perfection by actual character a total disaster.
@@matthewrosenthal753 well that is another point. Batfleck's arc is incomplete - after all we never got to see Affleck's The Batman or Justice League 2 & 3, which would've shown more development. Sadly, it awkward situation for this incarnation of Batman with no end or resolution.

2:02 Ben's bat suit is basically the suit from the Dark Knight Returns comic by Frank Miller which is the reason why this version of Bats is so bulky, has smaller ears and a big bat symbol, hell he even does one of the iconic poses from said comic near the end of BvS when he's avoiding Doomsday's heat vision.
I loved having Ben Affleck play Batman. I just wish we got a solo Batman film before BVS to show him before he was unhinged . Also a Wonder Woman cameo/ teaser in the end credits would've of helped . The DCEU had so much potential . I'm just grateful for what we got and can't wait to see The Flash this weekend .
For film, yes. But Aquaman was already made pretty cool in the New 52 comics run. Highly recommend it. Also, the Justice League cartoon made him pretty cool as well.
The amount of indignation on Batman Ben Affleck, which only killed in self-defense. When all the other Batman in movies before him, committing murders, but no one cared.
In Batman begins by not saving ra's he still killed him ,in returns strapping a bomb to someone, it's the notion that superheroes are meant to represent the best in us,yet still resort to our base instinct to kill
What i do love about Affleck's version of Bruce Wayne it can loosly tie in to old man Bruce in Batman Beyond where he becomes a bit more of a bitter broken man who for the most part is all alone in his senior days as he pretty much pushed everyone he cared about away for the "good". It's a rather tragic character
I think the way batman changes isnt the first time he has faught with compassion, and more like this is how he was for years, but up intil recently, with death if robin, and superman arrival he turned into what we see in bvs, and in justice league its a return to form
For me he was the best Live Action Batman ever. What people forget is this is a Batman who has been the Dark Knight for 20 years and having gone through a lot of trauma and issues. He feels brutal like the Arkham Batman and sometimes even pulls off the poses and moves that Batman does in the comics and the Arkham Games. He has the best Batman Suit and was jacked. His combat ability is the best we’ve seen. He looks and feels like a Batman that is a master hand to hand to combatant. But he’s also flexible and moves like a superhuman, which helps to paint the idea of Batman being a supernatural creature that criminals fear. Yes he killed, but he’s not praised in universe for that. Which is exactly why he was treated as a murderous vigilante. But when he met Superman, he was inspired and became a better Batman (represented by how we see him working with the GCPD). He was unfortunately too old for a Batman starting the Justice League and starting a DC universe. But he was a brilliant adaptation of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. He wasn’t perfect, but he is the best Live Action representation of the Batman of the comics.
I wouldn’t say he was divisive at all, he was the best thing about the DCEU and it’s sad we never got to see his solo movie, because he actually wanted to use other villains than the joker.
I remember some of your videos from years ago and you've come so far. I'm glad I subscribed long ago (back when you did a crossover with Brian Zane). Your analysis isn't just jokes and surface level stuff. I couldn't articulate why I thought he did such a good, Batman always succeeding within the films.
Ben Affleck was the best Batman. The swagger, intensity, fighting style, the only thing holding him back is bad writing and the boner he had for killing people.

There is no divisive ben is the perfect batman. The way he looks, talks, charismatic charm is spot on. He embodies everything batman is suppose to be. People always complain about the killing, but you fail then to comprehend the many years that hes been batman and how little to no impact it had on gotham especially to thr lost of robin. Bens poptrayel had more depth and understanding to the character bruce wayne/batman
I think Affleck as Batman/Wayne was excellent casting and all the potential was wasted on subpar material. He was never the problem with those movies. In fact he was often the best part of those complete messes of cinema.
I always thought that Ben Affleck was a perfect choice for Bruce Wayne and Batman and Jeremy Irons is my favorite Alfred. It's too bad that his solo Batman movie never happened. I think that would have been just as good as The Batman from Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson.
In defense of him saying “Alfred” out in public a lot …. So did Arkhamverse Bats, and he was typically neck deep in chaos (granted when he’s not talking to Oracle)
Ben Affleck's portrayal of the character, I think, was by far the most peculiar version we got to see on screen, especially the one in BVS. His version does a great job in depicting how he has become morally corrupt after being able to make no difference whatsoever even after fighting crime for the past 20 years and has witnessed how everyone eventually becomes corrupt. The life of Batman has become nothing more than a mission that needs to be completed and he has allowed it to consume him almost entirely, a true hollow shell. More than using the cape and cowl to fight for justice, he uses it to blow off some steam because he's gotten addicted to beating the crap out of criminals, something that he truly seems to enjoy. He has hit rock bottom, hence the disregard for the life of thugs he fights. Poor character writing and messy script didn't do justice to the best Batman that never was.
I agree. While I, and everyone else, knows that the gun being referred to is something like a glock, Batman does use guns.... like all the time. Just not typical handheld guns like a machine gun or pistol. Those types of guns are the ones that Batman exclusively does not use. He uses pretty much every other type as he sees fit. Typically in the form of the Grappling Gun
God, I didn't realize how fucked up the whole Deadshot thing was until you pointed it out. If that wasn't intentional, then goddamn. But if it _was_ intentional, then.... goddamn!
His suit was the best we've seen! His Bruce was good, and his batman was good. He we've been the best if he got used correctly, and got some solo movies.
The problem with him is that people were expecting the Batman we've been getting for the last 20 years to be his Batman. I took him as what Zack Snyder gave us a Batman who is based on the Dark Knight Returns version, a Batman who's been through a lot, who's getting old and an alcoholic. He kills because he believes that the criminals he's putting down are not only getting back up but also the good guys he trusted also became bad or was killed during his time. He even has the same story-arc as the Dark Knight Returns where he becomes hopeful again at the end and stops killing to become better. The 2nd biggest problem is the plot of BVS I'm fine that he was introduced in that movie and it also makes a lot of sense that he is mad at Superman for all the damages he did to Metropolis that killed a lot of people but I think that story would only work if Batman didn't kill. That's why people made fun of the Martha scene, If that scene was the first time Batman taking a life and him seeing a flashback of his parents dying and a silhouette of a man holding a gun and it zooms in to it's face only to be him. That would be amazing but no he's a killer and not only is he a killer Superman is also a killer so there's this 2 hypocrites who just wants to kill one another because they're killing people lol.
Also batfleck being a more dark batman isnt because hes always been that way, but because the repercussions of joker and harley killing Robin. So in turn he became ruthless or as andrew garfield spiderman says became bitter and stopped pulling his punches. But ofc after he forms the league he goes back to not killing
It’s crazy that WB will probably never #MakeTheBatfleckMovie but hey I sure hope #ReleaseTheAyerCut sometime soon so that we may see that rumored deleted scene with Batman and Joker
Batfleck played an excellent Batman/ Bruce Wayne. He was tough enough to exist in the world of Apokalips. He was complex enough to work through all the bad things Batman/ Bruce endured.
I think one of the biggest problems i have with this batman is not Ben Affleck but the fact that DC was too worried about playing catch up to the MCU. So instead of taking their time making at least one stand alone batman movie with ben. Instead they jump ahead to where they did. Not saying make an origin movie but there's so much in the middle before bvs they coudve done that could've connected us to bens version more. Yeah we see he lost robin but we never actually saw it on screen. These things matter in making a great batman. They skipped so much context that would make us feel more to bens batman. My top two batmans are Bale and Keaton.
In defense of this, Batman, I don’t think it’s fair to take points away for him not having a Robin win only one other version of Batman that was played by two different men, Val, Kilmer/George Clooney was the only one that had a Robin. So if we’re not going to take points away from Michael Keaton, or Christian Bale, or Robert Pattinson for not having a Robin, I think it’s kind of weak to tack that on to this Batman. And I agree with you about him not having memorable moments with the joker but let’s also remember this is the only live action Batman that has never got his own movie. It’s kind of hard to have a Batman versus joker throw down in a Batman versus superman movie, or in a justice league, movie, or in movies, like the flash, or suicide, squad where he’s just making a cameo. All in all it seems like you really enjoy Ben Affleck as Batman and the suit design but it feels like the issues you have aren’t with him himself but just with the movies he was in is what it feels like.
I hate when people talk about comic accuracy for a couple of reasons : 1 adaptions never have to be 100% accurate So it’s never really a valid criticism to say this isn’t comic book accurate 2 Ben Affleck Batman is literally 100% comic book accurate anyways even him killing is comic book accurate the original Batman from 1939 killed people Everything about this Batman is accurate he’s the most Arkham games animated series Batman I’ve ever seen in live action and he’ll always be my favorite because of it he’s the only Batman that really looked and felt like the same Batman I see in the games and the animated shows and movies no other Batman felt like the same Batman from animation other than Ben Affleck

@inyourelilsistersass5554 I agree Zack Snyder was a terrible choice for DC, he has come out and said that he hates superhero comics only liking stuff like Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns. But Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill weren't bad choices they were clearly trying to make this godawful material work, I'm hoping in the near future they can come back and play Batman and Superman again with better material.
@@tylerbertram7065 it is why I worried about rebel moon story Zack Snyder is visionar he needs a something like David Goyer to cooperate
I, for real, appreciate the directions those characters had. Much different from what we got before and pushed the boundaries.
You’re just literally wrong on everything you just said holy shit. They should require people do mental health checks before their allowed to comment online
You feel better?? I hope yelling at strangers on RUclips has made your weekend. And that you're able to tell all your friends how bad you got me. I've clearly been outclassed here... Oh, wait. This whole thing is over a matter of opinion, and personality attacking people you don't even know, just for thinking differently is dumb
I was serious about having a good weekend though.
With better material, he’s easily the best live action Batman.
he is perfect Batman casting! it doesnt get any more comic accurate! Absolutely in a league of his own!
He was the most intimidating Caped Crusader
When I first saw Ben Affleck as batman I loved it I loved how older her was he wasn't trying to be Micheal Keaton or Val Kilmer he was doing what he does best despite being old. His version was a much older Batman who has seen some bad things I picture him taking on Bane or Killer Kroc.
Yeah he's been through a lot in those 20 years
He’s my second favorite, and before Pattinson was my favorite live action Batman, I’ve always heard negatives about how he was written and never about his actual performance as Batman.
The fact that batman doesn't have a solo movie in the dceu will never make sense to me, like this is batman where talking about
Warner Bros Pictures new plan are woke garbage now no Cavill no Affleck but retared Ezra has his job 😂
I also felt that the Bruce/Barry relationship felt very reminiscent of Tony and Peter
Affleck fits the character perfectly. He exudes both Batman and Bruce Wayne. Unlike the other actors who looks good as Batman but is a misfit for Bruce or vice-versa. Kinda like Reeves for Superman/Clark, but I must say Henry does a good job too...
Love his Bruce Wayne
well henry was a good superman but as per clark kent he wasnt even trying to hide his superman presense even while wearing glass
Love Batfleck. I was so looking for his solo film, and the few people who read his script said it was amazing. It's sad we will never see it.
He’s honestly my favorite Batman/Bruce Wayne. Really hit the note on PTSD and War in BvS.
For me, it's Affleck. His Batman was a great blend of Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns Batman, and the New Earth Batman post Killing Joke and Death In The Family.
It’s so sad that we never got Ben’s Batman movie. From everything that came out about that movie, it sounds like it would have been phenomenal.
Hey thats YOUR opinion and your entitled to it!People will disagree with you that's just how it is with everything in life.....
@@nihongochopsocky808 nobody said that disagreement was not allowed regarding someone's opinion
I don't like how he looks, too bulky, giant forehead, tiny ears, giant bat symbol
I think he did a great job overall
How come people are so anal about Ben killing when every other fucking Batman has killed besides Bale and the new one and its inherently not canon to the no killing Batman from the comics because it's a movie not everything has to be comic accurate
@@ventsislavstefanov9590Batman shot one of the mutant gang members who was holding the kid threatening to kill them. In The Dark Knight Returns issue 2 page 11
The Bruce/ Diana dynamic, to me, is of two who had given up on the world, but needed to come out of their self imposed exile to save the world.
He's the absolute best!
Only cause people liked the warehouse scene
Bruh how many times are you gonna leave this comment? 💀.
The scene were Bruce(Batman) is looking at the costume of Robin. There’s something I never knew what I was looking at. I thought it was sadness but it was regret.
Yep. That scene is underrated. It’s part of why he’s so brutal now. Would have been a cool story arc to watch play out
Batfleck was the batman we deserved . Batfleck
Hell, I'd put him near the top. His brutality in the warehouse takedown left a 'Dark Knight' taste in my mouth. He did a damn jood job.
The suit and the warehouse fight scene are hands down the greatest in live-action Batman.
"He was as great as he was allowed to be" perfectly sums this up
Omg u took each and every word of my mouth, hated at first with the news but boy he just blew me away. It was the most difficult job overcoming the most popular Batman movies and most popular Batman played
Yeah definitely agreed he's the most divisive.. I personally loved him & am glad Affleck was able to say goodbye to the character properly.
I love Affleck as batman I just wish he was given a good script and a solo movie
I think if he had his own movie, he would have really shined. The warehouse scene made me truly believe that. If he had his own movie, he could have really poured in the best Dark Knight.
Ben was actually much better then I expected him to he. I liked the idea of a bigger/taller Batman and his fight scenes are amoung the best ever- brutal!
no matter what you think of ben affleck batman he has one of the best live action batman fight scene.
Affleck is by far superior. The size voice and look will grow on you. It's way ahead almost all previous iterations imo.
He wasn't always given the best material to work with. And he was robbed of getting his own solo film where he could really stretch his legs. But he is my favorite on-screen Batman
He just got bad material
This is a dumb narrative it's not bad you just don't agree with what was written
@Shinobi Toby, how they written Batman was objectively bad.
@@shinobitoby
Yeah, it’s bad lol. He’s not gonna say ‘in my opinion’ constantly. I’m sure you’re smart enough to know he’s talk g about his opinion and most people would agree with him.
I agree
And the good ones had good material lmao

Ben's bat suit is basically the suit from the Dark Knight Returns comic by Frank Miller which is the reason why this version of Bats is so bulky, has smaller ears and a big bat symbol, hell he even does one of the iconic poses from said comic near the end of BvS when he's avoiding Doomsday's heat vision.
Really wish we had a solo movie of him.
Batfleck IS THE GREATEST BATMAN
Meh people just like him cause of the fight scenes
@@MILDMONSTER1234 no not just that, he ACTUALLY looks like Batman and Bruce Wayne, don’t act like it’s not true either
I like Ben affleck if he was giving his own solo movie I can totally see his batman having his own batfamily
The DCEU can be summed up as "great casting, bad writing."
Jason Momoa as Aquaman was maybe the best of them all. It made Aquaman not lame
I recall animated series Bats beating up a dad in front of their daughter. Which was like the lost straw for Robin. But he did give a job afterwards
The New Batman Adventures. I believe the episode is "Old Wounds"
To be fair he did tell dead shot “I don’t want to do this in front of your daughter”
Now that you mention it. He actually might be my favorite. But I also love the snyderverse. Which I know some people don't.
I really enjoyed his take on the character
Kevin Konroy did say that Ben did the best for playing both Bruce Wayne and Batman.
No he wasn’t perfect. Everything except for the character of Batman is perfect.
He's my favorite Batman i don't care
I remember some of your videos from years ago and you've come so far. I'm glad I subscribed long ago (back when you did a crossover with Brian Zane). Your analysis isn't just jokes and surface level stuff. I couldn't articulate why I thought he did such a good, Batman always succeeding within the films.
Ben Affleck was the best Batman. The swagger, intensity, fighting style, the only thing holding him back is bad writing and the boner he had for killing people.
It’s all about the script - that’s why Ben needed to write his own Batman
The Surprising Facts and Details You Can Find About During Their Fight in Batman VS Superman, The Real Reason that Ben Affleck’s Batman Hesitated in His Fight Against Superman to Finally Kill him with The Kryptonite Spear, How His Helmet Splited In Half, How Similar To Two-Face, Studying Superman’s Fighting Moves Much Like Bane was Studying Batman, telling Superman To “Breathe In” Like Scarecrow Said once To Batman, Having Deja Vu and A Flashback To His Parents Death, When You Finally Realized That Batman Is Becoming Like The Monsters He Vowed To Stop from Ever Hurting The Citizens Of Gotham City
He was an awesome Batman
There is no divisive ben is the perfect batman. The way he looks, talks, charismatic charm is spot on. He embodies everything batman is suppose to be. People always complain about the killing, but you fail then to comprehend the many years that hes been batman and how little to no impact it had on gotham especially to thr lost of robin. Bens poptrayel had more depth and understanding to the character bruce wayne/batman
My favorite live action Batman 🦇
I think Affleck as Batman/Wayne was excellent casting and all the potential was wasted on subpar material. He was never the problem with those movies. In fact he was often the best part of those complete messes of cinema.
Vee, you're right with every single point you came with.
I loved him as Batman
Comic fans were obnoxious back in 89 too, they hated Keaton as batman
I always thought that Ben Affleck was a perfect choice for Bruce Wayne and Batman and Jeremy Irons is my favorite Alfred. It's too bad that his solo Batman movie never happened. I think that would have been just as good as The Batman from Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson.
In defense of him saying “Alfred” out in public a lot …. So did Arkhamverse Bats, and he was typically neck deep in chaos (granted when he’s not talking to Oracle)
I love Affleck and would love to see more of him as Batman.
All he needed was his solo movie
Well put bro
Ppl saying Batman wouldn’t use a gun hasn’t seen anything with Batman or understands what constitutes as a gun…
But if it _was_ intentional, then.... goddamn!
For me, Batfleck is the best Batman hands down. If we ever get his solo film, as well as the JL sequels, the internet will shift their opinion.
His suit was the best we've seen! His Bruce was good, and his batman was good. He we've been the best if he got used correctly, and got some solo movies.
Arthur didn’t give away his identity, the Norwegians did not speak English😂
Batfleck will forever be nr1
I love Ben as Batman. Best Batman right beside Michael Keaton
For me is amazing how he has faith again to be a hero after the death of supermam
His Physique, His face, the way he acts, the way he fight, the way he crafted all of those gears, and his detective side. He's literally Batman
Also batfleck being a more dark batman isnt because hes always been that way, but because the repercussions of joker and harley killing Robin. So in turn he became ruthless or as andrew garfield spiderman says became bitter and stopped pulling his punches. But ofc after he forms the league he goes back to not killing
What he did with Deadshot ain’t Batman, that’s Owlman behavior.
He did the best he could with what he was given to work with. And then some.
Ben is my favorite Batman. I would have liked to have seen a stand alone movie of an old Batman..a rated R movie.
I like the [Batman v Superman] Batman suit the best. It's bulky and brooding. The Justice League suit was more streamlined and less brooding.
All in all it seems like you really enjoy Ben Affleck as Batman and the suit design but it feels like the issues you have aren’t with him himself but just with the movies he was in is what it feels like.
i love ben affleck as batman
I swear to God Batman versus superman that’s the first time I realized that they both had mothers name Martha
I like his main batsuit the best, with the exception of his logo.
Affleck is my favorite Batman since Keaton
This version of batman is the batman from the dark knights two parter movie. You know the older batman
2:26 literally no one would make this mistake.
Bro I thought I was the only one that thought the Batman and Flash "father - son" like shit, was just a copy of Stark and Peter Parker banter
Batfleck is one of my favourite versions of the character. Well, specifically in BvS and ZSJL. JL 2017 was… embarrassing.
Ben Affleck looks like Batman if he had been going to Dunkin’ Donuts a bunch
I hate when people talk about comic accuracy for a couple of reasons :
1 adaptions never have to be 100% accurate
So it’s never really a valid criticism to say this isn’t comic book accurate
2 Ben Affleck Batman is literally 100% comic book accurate anyways even him killing is comic book accurate the original Batman from 1939 killed people
Everything about this Batman is accurate he’s the most Arkham games animated series Batman I’ve ever seen in live action and he’ll always be my favorite because of it he’s the only Batman that really looked and felt like the same Batman I see in the games and the animated shows and movies no other Batman felt like the same Batman from animation other than Ben Affleck
I got Affleck right behind Pattinson..
