After a month of installing, it pops up to activate it now. It means that this installation is not lifetime licensed; i.e., just a trial version. 😢😢

I had the same problem I then followed the video seeing one tiny step then doing EXACTLY as shown seeing next tiny step and repeat. It works and because I followed the video EXACTLY I now have a legal copy of MS OFFICE. If you follow exactly product key will be copied automatically. Make sure you get rid of all traces of MS OFFICE.

Bottom of the screen @ 4:08 the KMS radio button is selected. KMS is M$'s Key Management Server. That's how an org that has a volume license agreement issues (and periodically reissues) activation. The key displayed is a generic key used for install. Without access to a functional KMS server with available licenses, your activation will crap out after some period of time. Bottom line... ain't no such thing as a free lunch. And if it sounds too good to be true (like office 24 pro for free!) it probably is. 😂
I uninstalled my Office 2021 Professional 32-bit. I am running Windows 11, the latest version. I followed your video exactly, with the exception of installing Project and Visio. It installed Project and Visio 2024 LSTC 64-bit without a license. It installed Office 2021 again only this time it is 64 bit and they are licensed.

Press the Win + R on your keyboard. In the Run dialog box, type “cmd” into the field and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter. This will open Command Prompt with administrative privileges. From here, you can enter any commands that you need to run.

Copy it’s path.
Open CMD as Admin,
Type cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16
Hit enter
Type cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:kms.03k.org
Hit enter
Type cscript ospp.vbs /act
Hit enter
Wait for few seconds
…..Exiting…….. appears
Close cmd
Check office activation now.
Hopefully this will solve the problem.

When looking at Account in Word the product was not registered with a product key, and it was required. Fortunately, for me, I had a key that did work. I am at a loss to know why your instructions did not have the application working without a key. I am grateful for you r video as I was Unable to find any other source for the software

I forgot when naming the Office 2024 folder used a space between the name and the year ... renamed the folder without the space and It Worked ! 😻😻👍👏👏

2.Uninstall Office. Restart Pc.
3. No need to Go to Customization tool and do the whole process. You already moved the created folder into C drive right? Just start from CMD thing, as shown in the video. Hope this work.
This is NOT "Office for free". And his follow up Video does NOT fix the activation issue. You installed an LTSC version along with an GVLK (Generic Volume License Key). These keys/installations are meant to be activated via an Key Management Service (KMS) running on the domain controller of your corporate Windows domain network. As you have no KMS and no associated Volume License your Office version will never be activated.

Let's try to understand why the Office LTS 2024 in the end of the installation was activated. Maybe because you had previously an activated Office 2021 that you had to uninstall? Office LTS 2024 is a streamlined version of Office 2021 that is more complete and extensive, so the activation of Office LTS 2024 makes sense, but most probably it will not happen for those who had an older version of MS Office or no Office at all.

@@nahidahmed9153 That's not correct my dear friend. This will work for sure. Only if the previous version of office installed on your PC is not a Genuine one, this may not work. For All the legal versions, it will work.
Key is not valid
@@Tech2AI It's a volume license key that belongs to a corporation. At some point it will hit it's cap on licenses and will no longer activate. Or did you perhaps secretly install one of those local key management servers? Either way, this may work for a few people for a short time, but within a couple months all installs will fail.

Is it a one time download or it is like the 365 ...pay every year? I know yours is free but would we need to do it every year? I installed it on 2 laptop so far, and it is working but it is written when you click on account to see if it is activated: "Activation required " and at the bottom "This product is unlicensed. @@raygendron5881 LTSC is (Long Term Servicing Channel) is a perpetual license version of Microsoft Office for commercial and government customers. You pay once and own it forever. Microsoft right now provides a Generic Key to try the LTSC Version of Office. Right now it's free but definitely not for lifetime.

I installed Office 2024 Pro Plus as per the video about a month back and it worked beautifully. Now, on starting any application (like Excel), a pop-up titled Microsoft Office Activation Wizard appears stating that "This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated. You have 4 days left to activate" with an error code of 0x4004F00C and a provision to Change Product Key. How can I circumvent this, please?
