What is a coil pack? A coil pack is like a large capacitor that generates spark energy for each individual spark plug during each engine revolution. Stock or OEM Coils are weak and don't deliver an efficient amount of energy, they work at a minimum requirement from the factory and perform poorly. The RIPP High Performance Coils are totally redesigned and re-engineered to add much needed power and throttle response to your 2TR-FE.
These coils are a direct swap to 05+ 2.0L Tacoma/Hilux and are guaranteed to be an improvement over the weak factory coil packs.

Will this make a worth the money difference on my 4.0 Procharged Tacoma?
We have not tested on a procharged Tacoma, however an upgraded ignition system is a very popular option in the Toyota. I'd expect similar gains to NA vehicles.

how are the coil packs holding up for you ?
@@Dudleyism1I had 1 of the coil fail causing a misfire a couple months ago and swapped back to the stock factory coils. Not worth it in my opinion, didn’t get to many miles on them. I got the coils for free from ripp so they can test my bone stock pretty much brand new truck on there dyno
Would this work for a 1.5 4 cylinder Toyota engine.
When are these going to be back in stock?
Is it possible these could burn a hole on top of a stock piston?

@@RIPPMODS ok because in the past I hadn’t ever gotten a clear answer that the coils for the 4 cylinder Camry would also work for my 2012 Scion tc. The person I was speaking with wasn’t replying.
