I'm facing the same problem. Pictures come out way too grainy, specifically with the front camera. The only feature that works better is cinematic mode. The back camera is still better, but the front is really bad.

I tried out he mac foundation in store and noticed it has fine shimmers in the formula so test it out in the store and then get it because the shimmers will emphasize the pores on the skin
Also MAC foundations oxidise. So always apply on skin and the check again after an hour if the shade is still matching
