I randomly discovered one of your videos some days ago and made me so happy so see this new one. I'm an artist too and despite my work method being quite chaotic I enjoy to see how organized and meticulous your process is 👍💕
I feel that, seeing anyone do what is natural to them is enjoyable to watch. I'm glad you found the channel and that it brings some happiness for you, thank you for being here! 😊💛
Only painting when the sun is shining , yesss I resonate with that too BUT thàt would be a catastrophy living here where the dark cloudy skies are taking over the last weeks with pouring rain showers , our garden looks like a swamp and my studio is at the back of it and feels as sitting in a summerhouse during winter 😬 which turned into a rather unproductive time but forecast promise freezing cold the next week but with sunshine so 🤞 so I can start as my head is full of ideas which need to get out of it 🥴 Enjoyed your video 👌
That is brutal weather to be productive in, I'm mentally sending sunshine your way. I've been thinking to try a different mode of creating when the weather is really terrible. Maybe break out something messy like charcoal and play some heavy music, if you can't beat it, join it. 😅😁 Not sure yet. Thanks for watching Debora :)
thanks for the 🌞 it arrived today 👏freezing cold but That I don't care , I love the light and yes maybe that's a good idea to beat up the 🌨@@mariasisul
It is an interesting stand off, when you have a painting sat on an easel that hasn't been attended to in a while but you know it's coming; that next session, it's like a wave slowly approaching. It's a mix of fascination, frustration, anticipation. Stalking all around it and then one day, boom, you're painting. There is nothing better than when it hits and you achieve that small distance between you and the canvas. The world just drops away. That proximity. The quiet. There's nothing like it. I live in Australia, and when you talked about the artist that only painted when its sunny I cringed a bit, because I should be painting all the time based on that logic. I have no excuse, but I, like you, have a fantastic knack for procrastinating. Wishing you all the best for this year and some outrageously good painting.
Very well put, it is a never ending dance. Being willing to take the first steps and enter the flow state is essential. Hope you can beat those moments of procrastination also. Best of luck and thank you!
Your videos always leave me feeling inspired to have a good day in the studio, even if it’s just a few minutes of prep work (learning to appreciate the beauty in quieter, slower days)
Thank you Kristen, I'm really happy to hear that. Those few minutes are a gift just as they are, at least I'm always trying to remind myself that too 😊
Happy New Year! Thank you for a very cozy video on a cold winter evening as I watch it. I too haven't been as productive art-wise during the holidays mainly due to having had family over and all the activities going on as a result, but as of tomorrow we are getting back into our usual routine, which includes daily drawing or painting for me. BTW, that painting is off to a great start! Cheers!
Happy New Year to you also! It's great that you had family over, I hope the holiday season was good for you! Best of luck getting back into it today, I'll be doing the same. And thank you so much! cheers 😁
Hope you’re feeling better Maria! I’m curious to see what 2024 will bring to the table, and what you will make of it. Take your time to enjoy life while kicking ass in the new year!! All the love, T.
MY DEAR CHIKD, YOUR "UNDER DRAWINGS" SHOULD BE SHARED ATLEAST ONCE, FOR YOUR VIEWERS, BECAUSE THERE MIGHT BE OTHERS OUT THERE WHOS INTO DRAWINGS, & NOT JIST ME.....YOYR PAINTINGS ARE LIGIT, SO I EXPECT YOUR DRAWINGS WOULD BE TOO.......

Really like your sort of ‘stream of conscious’ meanderings!
Glad you like them, they seem to be never ending in the studio!

Hi
MY DEAR CHIKD, YOUR "UNDER DRAWINGS" SHOULD BE SHARED ATLEAST ONCE, FOR YOUR VIEWERS, BECAUSE THERE MIGHT BE OTHERS OUT THERE WHOS INTO DRAWINGS, & NOT JIST ME.....YOYR PAINTINGS ARE LIGIT, SO I EXPECT YOUR DRAWINGS WOULD BE TOO.......
I have several videos that share my underdrawings and process in detail.
