    I like how your mind works.

    And it's interesting to see you do something else than painting. I would never have thought that you are a chaotic person because your art planning is so precise. But it completely makes sense!

      I'm glad it was interesting! It was fun to share another side of myself with you all. Painting is probably when I'm the most sane 😂

    Loved this. You seem so calm and relaxed when painting. You seemed a little more stressed when baking. Your videos are so enjoyable. So honest and intelligent. I have set myself a challenge of creating 50 drawings in 2024, partly inspired by your good self. I tend to draw more than paint so it is doable. Great questions people.

      Ha! yeah it was hard to bake, film and talk all at once honestly. And that is a fantastic goal for next year! Thanks for watching, I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the videos! 😊

    Hey Maria 😄
    It was so interesting to get to know you better! Thank you for giving us an opportunity to ask you questions and for answering them. When I heard you say my name - I ran to my husband, because he also helped think of questions to ask. I cannot believe you answered all 5 of them😅.
    I enjoyed seeing how different you are cooking in comparison to painting - you are a lot less exact. It's funny to see that side of you too.
    In regards to you feeling frustrated that you did something else before art, because you would have been further a head than you are now - I totally understand that feeling. That is how I feel about my writing career. It is valid to feel that way, but I believe it is also important to reflect on how you grew in those years and the skills you've learned, because they also contribute to the person you are today and how you approach life or problems. I know it is cheesy to say and you've probably heard it already, but I just thought I'd say it anyway.
    Thank you so much for sharing your art and your journey with us. I've started watching you when you only had two video's and I've loved seeing your body of work grow.
    Hope you have a blessed time with friends and family this Christmas season.
    Ps. I'd be a hobbit.

      Oh it was a blast to answer and all of yours were fun. Ivan wanted to add that he would be a hobbit. He is the big LOTR fan around here 😂 If I'm not drawing, painting, writing, or maybe doing something more physical then exactness goes out the window.
      I appreciate the positive reminder around switching paths! I never have a problem with "cheesy" :) I've moved past my frustrations a lot and I love many of the experiences and skills learned that still impact me now. I cut out that bit of me talking because I just would not stop rambling.😅
      Always so happy to hear how much you've enjoyed following my journey. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season as well!

    What a creative and funny but very informative way to answer our questions , you' re definitively an Elf 😊. I liked your reason why you started this channel , I am always interested in that combi of realistic daily life (chores, cleaning , laundry ..'hobbies', family matters etc ) and being a full time artist . I think it is not a waste of time having done first the Design education /job as after all it is art related in a way and only can add extra insight on top of your art journey now , It reminds me of not be able to choose to learn piano or guitar so I did both ( just for me ,no musical ambitions) and I found peace into learning both after my guitar teacher told me that it didn't matter as they both enriched my musical skills , my path becoming an artist wasn't linear to say the least 😄Btw you are still very young so plenty of time to come 😉 . The cookies looked delicious 😋.Thank you so much and Merry X-mas to you 🎄

      Oh I'm so glad you found this format funny and enjoyable. I want to keep exploring how to use my channel as a way to show that balance and realism of being a creative. And thank you for the encouraging words! I'm still very grateful for my design studies and experiences, they inform a lot of my paintings. Piano and gutair are so fun, I would love to get into music more eventually, also just for fun. I hope you have a lovely Christmas season as well.

    Thank you for another great video explaining more about your art journey via vewers' questions. I can relate when you said that you found yourself in a corporate environment and realized you wanted out. It was the same for me, except it was with the federal government. Instead I became a boxing coach. It was through coaching boxing for fitness that I went back to drawing and painting! This may sound strange but there are lots of parallels in boxing training (or physical training in general) and the painting process. Cheers!

      I was happy to do it. Plus my painting was at a halt so this seemed like a good thing to share instead. I can totally see the connection between boxing and art. Physical activity brings me the most creative energy and drive. I'm glad you found the right path in the end! 😁

    The cookies look tasty 😋 I noticed you are using some sort of microphone in your video, what is it called?

      @mariasisul  10 месяцев назад +1

      Oh they were good! It's a Rode wireless ME mic. It's great, I wish I had used it all the way through the video! I'm still figuring it out. :)

    Why for the butter you don't have written e.g. 200g? It's easier to measure than saying 'cup'. Sorry, I'm curious, European here :D

    • @mariasisul
      @mariasisul  9 месяцев назад

      A "cup" is a standard measurement here (it would be exactly 227g for butter) and I have measuring tool for that amount. I don't have a scale and my recipe was not in grams. No worries, just our funny imperial measurement system 😂
