The harp is pretty similar to a piano except you use your fingers instead of hammer keys. Wich is why the sound is similar

This made me feel blue, when my aunt died, I couldn't imagine the pain my grandma and grandpa went through, I don't ever want them to feel that again, they are such sweet people
Essentially, the piano is just a Harp on its side being hit by soft hammers, and this is just as good as the piano version, if not better

Not hardly! Instruments both have strings is really the only way they're alike. Listen to the sounds watch her technique. (very good, BTW). A piano is actually classed as a percussion instrument because it is played with mallets, worked by the keys. She is producing her own unique sound with her hands and finger pressure. If it were to play her same harp, my tone would be different, and not just because she is MUCH better than i am. You or i or even her would all sound basically the same if we were all to play on the same piano. Peace out. ☮️

I heard this song and when I was little I would sit next to my cousin by the piano and she would play this for me, this video literally sent tears falling down my face, it brought back so many old memories of having big family gatherings, and it brought back the memories of seeing my grandmother making big pots and bowls of food for me and my other cousins, my grandmother passed just a month ago, I really needed to hear this, even though I didn’t request it, thank you so much :)

my grandma passed away this month, april 14th and it was the most painful day of my life, I know I can never heal from this emotional pain, no matter how hard I try to move on because I know she is already happy, but I just can't move on, it's so painful 😓 I will cherish every moment we had, it's gonna take some time getting used to living without her 😔
She is in better hands my friend...RIP grandma. ...

Many many years ago, my mom used to play The River Flows in You on our piano. It was my favorite song she played. Many years went by and she stopped playing, and I forgot about the song. A couple years ago, I was waiting for my mom to pick me up from a viola lesson, and I heard someone in the studio playing that song. Thank goodness I had found the song again!

I literally can't remember the last time a piece being played live not only brought tears to my eyes but affected me to the point that the emotional response couldn't be controlled by me at all. It's like the harder I tried to not react and remain stoic and unaffected it just hit me even fucking harder and deeper. Thinking on it its seriously since I started using drugs to rhe point of physical dependency at least... sorry for the downer comment but please please PLEASE believe me that today you're 100 percent entirely responsible for giving someone who'd given up for so long they didn't even realize they'd done so a very real belief that despite a lifetime of failures and creating nothing bur disappointment around me like some turgid ripple on an otherwise calm water surface, perhaps one day I can change the effect I have on my life in a meaningful way even if it mea s starting all the way over
