As far as I know, both have to sign OR the father would have has to give up ALL rights to the child for the mother to give the baby away. they rarely EVER let you walk out with your baby after it is addicted, as well as you. I had a friend that was addicted to drugs. After the hospital helped it as best as they could and gave her instructions as well as her family instructions on what to do for the child so that it can continue to get better,, they let her leave with it, but it only lasted maybe a month not even before cps came and took it. Then she had two more children who were born addicted and both were immediately taken away once they were born and she doesn't care for them. Her mother - who is my mother's friend - has taken custody of each of them. I knew that lady's story was a lie the second that she said three months.
In Vermont they won't always arrest a woman for having drugs in her system- they are afraid women would choose not to get healthcare for the baby. Instead they offer treatment for the moms.

So she pissed off the face of the earth I found out in 2015 that indeed I have a son..Billy.. Find out that Jane sold her own son for 5k to her own mother... Absolute evil incarnate. Bill is 11 now.. The first lady’s story made no sense from the start. She said nobody knew she was pregnant but then she had a few friends who knew then she claims she was living with her boyfriend that was abusing her but yet he was away. Then circling back to how she claimed she hid the pregnancy from EVERYBODY means she hid it from the guy she was living with (according to her unless he was one of those friends she hid it from) but assuming she DID hide it from him and he didn’t know, how was he then threatening her and the baby?

No we don’t normally read the outgoing mail due to the volume but if she received a threatening letter all she had to do was contact the facility.
it really depends on where he was some places would have sent it without thinking twice about what was in it while other prisons are more secure with the letters they sent out but im thinking he didnt send any threatening letter in the first place

As far as I know, both have to sign OR the father would have has to give up ALL rights to the child for the mother to give the baby away. But in that first story, nothing in that whole story made any sense. In the end she said SHE was harassing HIM. I just don’t get her at all. I think she was backed into a corner and lied about everything just to keep him. I don’t believe he threatened her at all either. I think she wanted him and kept her lie going and thinking he would come back to her when he got out of jail. In the second story, I kinda feel bad for the girl in a way because she knew he wanted children abd probably would have done almost anything to give him a child, hence the lies because she really loved him. they rarely EVER let you walk out with your baby after it is addicted, as well as you. I had a friend that was addicted to drugs. After the hospital helped it as best as they could and gave her instructions as well as her family instructions on what to do for the child so that it can continue to get better,, they let her leave with it, but it only lasted maybe a month not even before cps came and took it. Then she had two more children who were born addicted and both were immediately taken away once they were born and she doesn't care for them. Her mother - who is my mother's friend - has taken custody of each of them. I knew that lady's story was a lie the second that she said three months.
In Vermont they won't always arrest a woman for having drugs in her system- they are afraid women would choose not to get healthcare for the baby. Instead they offer treatment for the moms.
I really do think that the courts should able to order some women to have their tubes tied.

As I was leaving an abusive relationship with my child's father I had to move many times. I never lost the hat, blanket, bracelets, name card that came from the hospital or birth certificate or sonograms. They were treasures to me that I hope to pass down to my first grandchild.. I'm calling BS. I hope this woman gets some mental health help. The correct answers to ask are what time was she born, how long was she, how much did she weigh? Mothers don't forget those pesky little details.

She broke trust, and she does not have the maturity required for a relationship, let alone a marriage.
