I have lost 4 precious babies thru miscarriages. It is a horrific, traumatic event that ai would never wish in ANYONE. But I went to the hospital for each & every one. The first one was very early in the pregnancy and, under the care of a doctor, I was allowed to recover at home; we buried it in a special wooden box under a tree that my husband bought me for our anniversary. The second miscarriage was much further along (we could see the sweet little baby boy on the ultrasound - but there was no heartbeat...😞) and the Dr said we had to have a D & C done. The third was about the same term but, even on complete bed rest, I lost that little one there at home; BUT the Dr instructed me to save the baby & all tissues so that she could inspect it & make sure it was all there. My son helped me bury that precious little one wrapped in purple silk & nestled in a carved wooden box that my father gave me in my childhood beneath yet another tree on our farm. The last innocent little baby was perfect but trapped from scar tissue (from an appendectomy) in an ectopic pregnancy. My tube burst and I almost died along with that little baby from massive blood loss (the surgeon had to literally put me upside down on the operating table because my abdomen was filled with blood...it was horrible!). But nothing was hidden from my husband - everything was out in the open and we grieved our losses together. I guess all I wanted to say here was that, yes it is perfectly normal to bury your own precious, much-loved little babies due to pregnancy loss. Steve acted shocked at such a thing. Yes, we do live in the country on our own property handed down thru generations. But, in a way, my little angels (at least 2 of them) are still right there with me. But I cannot believe how ANYONE could ever EVER lie to someone about a pregnancy, much less a miscarriage!!! My sister just had to have her baby removed from her womb bc his little heart stopped beating. This "woman" is insulting his life by pretending she went through that horrible situation. I know the women was lying. I just want to add though that as a women who has had a miscarriage, some of the things Steve and the boyfriend thought was so crazy is normal. I would never go to the hospital or doctor for a miscarriage again. There is nothing they can do to stop it and are rude and i just had to experience the worst day of my life in a curtain "room" surrounded by strangers instead of in my own home. Also, my husband and I chose to bury our baby in our back yard. How people grieve is different and its ok to grieve how you need to.
Agreed. I didn't want to go to the doctor for an early pregnancy/miscarriage. I was pressured to go by family and friends. When they confirmed the miscarriage I cried. The doctor acted like I was overreacting because I was "barely pregnant". I was about 8-9weeks. It was still heartbreaking.
When I was 16, I think I was miscarrying because I was cramping really bad and passed a large blood clot. I was a teenager with no money and a strict mother, so I didn't tell her, and I didn't get a pregnancy test or anything like that to even confirm I was ever pregnant. I didn't know the dollar tree ones worked just as good as the ones that are like $15-$20. My aunt told me that's how she found out she was pregnant for almost every one of her five kids lol. Still to this day, I don't know for certain if it was a miscarriage or just a heavy period. She's a grown woman who could easily buy a pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy and then go to the doctors to get a medical confirmation. Her story just didn't make sense when she said she called her doctor and they said, "what do you wanna do?" They would've at least told her to go to ER just to make sure.

I am not in any way on this girl's side, I think what she did was unforgivable. But they keep saying it doesn't make sense for her to not go to the hospital while having a miscarriage and I disagree with that. I had a miscarriage a few years ago and I never went to the hospital. I googled it and a lot of things I read said unless you are in a lot of pain you really don't need to go. So I stayed home until it passed. I didn't need a doctor.

My sister just had to have her baby removed from her womb bc his little heart stopped beating. This "woman" is insulting his life by pretending she went through that horrible situation. I've been through that first couple week miscarriage where you don't need a d&c and the body passes it on its own. And I've had the tiny clot that looks like a fetus in my hand and it's a horrible thing to look back on and I can't without crying. Now everyone deals with things differently but she has no emotion. She's so matter of fact about what she says. I hate when women lie about things other women have had to go through and things that ripped open their hearts and souls. Ugh

When a man is caught lying Steve so often encourages the woman to stay in the relationship, even without the man confessing and with Steve often coaching the man in what to say to her to smooth things over and 'save the relationship' despite abuse being a factor. Yet when a woman is caught lying, even when she admits she has a lying problem and needs help (as here) Steve vilifies her, makes no attempt to save the relationship and walks out.

I know the women was lying. I just want to add though that as a women who has had a miscarriage, some of the things Steve and the boyfriend thought was so crazy is normal. I would never go to the hospital or doctor for a miscarriage again. There is nothing they can do to stop it and are rude and i just had to experience the worst day of my life in a curtain "room" surrounded by strangers instead of in my own home. Also, my husband and I chose to bury our baby in our back yard. How people grieve is different and its ok to grieve how you need to.
Agreed. I didn't want to go to the doctor for an early pregnancy/miscarriage. I was pressured to go by family and friends. When they confirmed the miscarriage I cried. The doctor acted like I was overreacting because I was "barely pregnant". I was about 8-9weeks. It was still heartbreaking.
When I was 16, I think I was miscarrying because I was cramping really bad and passed a large blood clot. I was a teenager with no money and a strict mother, so I didn't tell her, and I didn't get a pregnancy test or anything like that to even confirm I was ever pregnant. I didn't know the dollar tree ones worked just as good as the ones that are like $15-$20. My aunt told me that's how she found out she was pregnant for almost every one of her five kids lol. Still to this day, I don't know for certain if it was a miscarriage or just a heavy period.
She's a grown woman who could easily buy a pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy and then go to the doctors to get a medical confirmation. Her story just didn't make sense when she said she called her doctor and they said, "what do you wanna do?" They would've at least told her to go to ER just to make sure.

I am not in any way on this girl's side, I think what she did was unforgivable. But they keep saying it doesn't make sense for her to not go to the hospital while having a miscarriage and I disagree with that. I had a miscarriage a few years ago and I never went to the hospital. I googled it and a lot of things I read said unless you are in a lot of pain you really don't need to go. So I stayed home until it passed. I didn't need a doctor.
Had one due to blood clots and same, I was up moving about on Christmas Day losing my baby. I had a child to put on a brave face for and had been bleeding at night for a couple days before they told me it was blood clots and I knew it was coming. It wasn’t painful at all.
