Starting the year as I mean to go on - posting my favourites from my upcoming Ocarina of Time album!
When I recorded my original OoT mini album in my living room with my brother, aged 17, it seemed obvious to record my own version of each of the six Warp Songs, so a lot of this transcription was already there when I readied this for tracking last year - the main differences this time around were that I thought it would be better to arrange the songs as a medley, and to repeat each one so that you get to hear a bit more of them, otherwise they are so short, you could blink and miss them. A lot of you maybe won't know that I used to play orchestral percussion when I was a teen, too, so this is rare opportunity to see me playing a snare drum in the Bolero of Fire. My favourite of all the warp songs is the Serenade of Water, so working on that section was particularly exciting and emotional all the way through the process.

I love how the background changes to each Temple's medallion's color when the melody plays. This is beyond amazing.
Thanks for listening! If you look closely, I am wearing the corresponding Medallion as a pendant in each section, and my earrings also match the general colour and/or theme with appropriate Zelda items! I had a lot of fun planning all of that out.

Thanks for watching! You can hardly see it but because I love coordinating I also wore some Zelda item earrings. I tried to get them to vaguely theme with the dungeons the warp songs take you to as well, so there's a shield for the spirit temple and a sword for the shadow temple. The others just matched colour-wise!

Learning the Bolero of Fire in the death mountain crater was alway so intense. The way it zoomed in on sheiks and links eyes was so romantic and intimate.
I always loved me some Nocturne of Shadow. It was so creepy, matched the temple exactly.

NOSTALGIA ATTACK! Omg, OoT was the first Zelda game I played. I was obsessed with allll these songs, esp Minuet, Serenade, and Song of Storms (which isn't one of the warping songs). Such a timeless classic.

Ocarina of time had some of the best music and it really matched its themes well, love these covers of the songs she did an incredible job and is very talented I can play the ocarina and piano and drums but the Harp I hear is very hard to play and learn to play, the video itself was great too, love the background and outfit changes , so relaxing and brings back my childhood lol

It's amazing listening to beautiful nostalgic songs beautifully remade on actual instruments.
I remember playing the Minuet of Forest, cancel the warp, and repeat the tune. Rinse and repeat for 10 minutes almost everyday when I was playing the game. 😁
There were other tunes I did this with as well, like Prelude of Light. (I'm so evil. 😖)

BRAVO! Great use of light, love the link hoodie, the dresses make you look hot, and Ocarina play was felt. I never noticed those dark chords from the Shadow Temple, you made the video really dramatic which helped the feel.
When you played the temple of light one, I truly got what it meant by "Temple"
