  • Abraham Grajales was brought in for questioning in February 2017 regarding the alleged sexual abuse of his two granddaughters. The girls, who were between the ages of four and 13 at the time of the alleged abuse, disclosed the details to their parents. Watch the full interrogation as Grajales faces questioning about these accusations.

Grajales initially faced multiple counts of abuse-related charges, but the lack of physical evidence and witnesses presented challenges for prosecutors in proving the case against him. Grajales secured a plea deal on seven charges. As a result, he was placed on probation for 10 years and ordered to permanently register as a sexual predator.

@@ArinPost I think bc when you boil sugar in water, it turns into a syrup like texture, so once it’s cooled down from that extreme heat, it hardens like a shell and sticks and grips whatever it has made contact with….so poured onto skin, not only is your skinned burned, but once the mixture has hardened, you’d have to peel it off, thus causing even more pain, possibly ripping off skin….🤷🏻‍♀️

@@TheSorabear it's not that - but you're on the right track, it's because it forms a napalm like substance.... have you ever made treacle? Basically it will burn through your skin and you cannot get it off, forget about it hardening, it causes a lot more immediate damage and deeper burns and is extremely difficult to remove compared to water alone. It's a very common weapon in prison, as it's easy to assemble and will scar the victim.

I have three grandchildren and I would die for them and if I ever found out someone was hurting them I would be in prison! This man and his wife should be given the death penalty just like all pedofiles. Our laws need to be changed because the light sentences that these child predators get is unacceptable and it’s every single time. They should get the death penalty or they should be sentenced to a lifetime of medical experimentation for the greater good!

They didn't even have enough evidence to change him, let alone take this to a jury. I surely hope if you ever have someone's life in your hands that you take the responsibility seriously and hold the state to their burden of proof. There is NO proof here. He may or may not be guilty. But, they don't have anything to so much as change him. Does that mean nothing to you? Is it better that a guilty man go free than an innocent man sit in prison?

Exactly! It's not nearly as likely that a stranger will do this, although it definitely happens. It's the people you trust who have the easiest access that are the danger. I told my kids when they were really little that if anyone touched them in certain places or ways that they needed to tell me no matter what. I even told them that if that person threatened them in some way they needed to tell me. My kids are all grown now, and thankfully, nothing like that ever happened to them.

I’ve learned from a friend who works in corrections: Pedophiles are often the nicest people to your face. They will try to put your guard down by being consistently nice and will offer to help. They will offer to babysit, help you around the house etc. The do tend to profile people who are strapped for money, have some sort of problems, because they will be more desperate for help and less willing to want to notice that something is wrong. Nobody that is actually nice will keep asking to be your friend, to help you out, pay for your stuff, or want to be with your children. That in itself should raise a huge red flag for anyone and say no to pope like that. But when a family member does that, that’s just pure evil and I feel so sorry for those kids. My motto: I’d rather offend a nice person than let a creep get away with stuff. Strong and visible boundaries, even at a cost of appearing to be rude.

The guy had such a lenient sentence, as due to lacking a confession, and physical evidence, a conviction is not a guarantee should the case go to court, not to mention subjecting the victims to the trauma of the witness stand.
If there was so much as a shred of physical evidence, the prosecutor probably wouldn’t hesitate to pin the guy to a wall. But with what we know from this video, the probation was probably the “better than nothing” option.

I worked with an older man at my previous job, he was a mechanic/technician. He lived alone because his wife had passed away a year earlier. He had two grown-up, married sons who would visit him every now and then. His younger son moved back in with his family, a wife, and two daughters. He initially welcomed them, but as time went on, he was not happy and wanted them to leave. He was later accused of molesting their children and was arrested. Psychologists interviewed the kids, and their parents insisted on being present whenever the kids were interviewed. As time went on, it was discovered that their mother, who reported the story, told the kids to lie because she wanted to get rid of Grandpa because she wanted the house.

Couldn’t imagine having someone, anyone let alone a family member betray me in that way. Those poor little girls and that poor family must feel awful that this went on for so long. It’s so important to teach your kids from a young age that it is not ok for someone to touch you and make you even feel uncomfortable in that way. No matter who it is! I have told my son. I mentioned everyone and anyone to him… i trust my family but , So that he wasn’t confused I was clear NO ONE, not dad, not mimi, not papa, not auntie, not friends, not teachers, NO ONE I even said even mom (me) shouldn’t be touching you like that, and if it makes you feel uncomfortable, it is wrong…period! No matter who it is… when we go to the doctor I explain that the doctor has to check his little “pebbles” (scrotum lol) but it’s only ok because it’s for his health but only when I am in the room! You have to be super clear with them and keep reinforcing it! Keep them safe with knowledge and with them knowing it’s safe to talk to you about anything! Remind them of this.
