Very nice recipes! We just subscribed to her channel too! Feel free to subscribe to ours. We love Chinese Cuisine and we have a weekly recipe to share with our friends all over the world:) Food gathers!
Tried the Schecuan pepper today. It is fabulous. Unique flavor. Used it with chicken, capsicum, onions and soy sauce. Never tasted anything like it. I'm addicted already. Can't wait to try it with beef.
Thank you for adding such a wonderful combination of Chinese-Thai food. Since I am a Thai Chinese descendant, I always look for recipes that combines the two versions. This inspires me to make Chasieu Steam Bun. You made it look so easy. Thanks again!!
Marion, thanks so much for sharing these wonderful spices like cooked ginger ❤❤I’m still learning ❤love you and your patience in your cooking classes 🎉Bravo! You’re brilliant, my friend, Marion❤
Not adding extra stuff to your Pho is also a sign of respect for the chef, it's telling them it's good enough on it's own. If you go to a place to eat Pho make sure you take a couple spoon fulls of the broth first, then add whatever you want in it, we all understand, tastes are different. Ive switched to palm sugar for a lot of my sugar needs. Just because it's a bit healthier for you and keeps blood sugars in check and doesn't have as much fructose which is what the body turns into fat :) Honey powder is good too. (I have been trying to cook with less sugar.) This all looks fantastic Marion. Well done :)
Coming from a vietnamese background, to avoid the hassled of peeling the char grill bits off the onions and ginger, my mum used to wrap it with muslin (wrap it loosely and with clean muslin and fabric string) and that will saved a lot of work and the fragrance and aromatic still seek through! That is the traditional vietnamese way which will SAVED a lot of work! 👍🤗
Marion u never cease to amaze me, that was the best beef pho tutorial I have seen ever. I keep looking at how many subscribers you have and get joy when I see them increasing. I have no idea why sbs or abc haven’t picked u up yet. (If of course that’s something your interested in) All respect to Adam and Poh because I love them however you are the asian cooking queen by a mile 😍
Cooking with Jonny says Hello 👋! Your video is truly amazing and shows your passion and devotion towards beautiful food. I am so lucky to see your work through your channel. Thank you for sharing! 🤗🤗🤗🇬🇧
Everyone should grow spring onions if they have room, just cut off NOT PULL OUT what you need and it will continue to grow and regrow and you will always have super tasty spring onions. be warned though, they do get to be pretty large spring onions if left to grow, getting kind of close to leaks lol, ok not quite but pretty huge.
I will comment on the dishes shortly. But what I want to comment on now is how beautiful you look after just having a baby. You look radiant and absolutely lovely. I hope everyone is staying inside and safe. Tell Mama Noi, Happy Easter and it's time for a video from her. Much love to all your family.
Hi...can you make a video of how to bake thai crispy crunchy soft bread, a bakers come to sells every morning so they cutter in the middle to spread open then put the condensed milk into the breads, I really like it. I still remember I used to buy it when I was kid in Thailand.
I am a Gold Member of your Club. I made the boxed Pad Thai and it was WOW 🤩 DELICIOUS 😋 YUMMY 🤤. I cannot get your boxed dinners in Alabama but I was able to get some of the sauces from Walmart. But its so nice to get a nice selection of sauces & marinades every month. Do some videos using your sauces & marinades, if you can. Have you done a video on lettuce cups (with chicken) and have you ever heard of Hunan Dumplings??????
Alice Adler Yay!! Thanks for joining my club! LOVE being able to send out all my goodies. And there are lots of recipes on my website using my products. Just head to marionskitchen.com And Hunan dumplings sound right up my alley!
Husband is Japanese. I am not. Always loved ASIAN Culture. Started Cooking ASIAN in early 70s. Went to PRIMARILY Japanese in 80s. Met my Prince in 89. Married 1 year later. Neither he or his mother could believe when I had a MISO and SUSHI dinner. He is a little more Spicy than I. Love your CHANNEL. You are a Prize
Hi Marion, I was lucky to see you infront of Coles in Aldinga SA And had a photo with you (that was ages ago ,probably years after your masterChef journey ) thank you again for that,I went home sooo happy and after that I hooked away with your food channel. I'd like you to make your version of Bicol Express ha ha😅 , I'm not from Bicol Philippines but I loooove that dish! It's so simple to make but not anyone can make it taste as it should. (Tender, coconutty and hot) It's a comfort food for many
Hey Marion! I love your channel and how passionate you are about food! I was wondering if I could request that you do some more vegetarian recipes on your channel as I just love how inventive your recipes are but I'm vegetarian so would like to see if you have any favourite veggie dishes too! Would be really nice to see if that's something you'd like to do :) Thanks!
Hey Marion, I think you missed one potential step for adding flavour to your Pho and thats instead of boiling your noodles in plain water, why not boil them in the stock liquid itself so they take on the taste of the stock?
Pho is my absolute favorite💗💗💗 Video request if you haven't already made a video on it yet. Could you please do a video on Larb Gai? And sticky rice? Childhood favorite of mine
I love cilantro in mine and placed raw beef after. So it’s not so cooked. For a quick pho without waiting for 8 hrs or so. This is great. Almost like oxtail soup.
Oh! My absolute favorite Pho😍😍😍😍I can eat everyday🤤✨🤤your recipe series are alway amazing and easy to cook! Thanks a lot for sharing with us💕💕 Have a happy weekend and stay healthy 💐💐
This is the best and easiest pho recipe I’ve seen!! The only thing I would add is to roast the aromatics in a small pan for a few mins to bring out the flavors (Star anise, cinnamon stick, coriander seeds) and a couple pieces of rock sugar to round out the flavor 😊
I moved from an Urban Ontario city (not Toronto) where there is a Vietnamese noodle house all over the place and I would eat PHO 2-3 times a week, to a rural Nova Scotia fishing village where there are only a few restaurants that serve great food but sadly no PHO! I have not had restaurant PHO in over a year... I have tried making it but it is just not the same...... I miss my PHO!!!!!
Loved these cute little buns...I think I will replace the pork with shrimp and hopefully the outcome will be as beautiful as yours :) Thx for sharing the recipe.
Hey Marion, during the confinement I'm dying to try out my favourite chinese recepy which is Malaxiangguo ( 麻辣香锅). When I lived in Chengdu I had this almost everyday and I feel it's very unknown amongst western people. Could you open the curtains on this one please? Loving your videos!
I made your bao buns and your pork and it was phenomenal and so satisfying! ❤️ You are the best. I love making your recipes and I love your products each month😍😍. You make cooking so fun and enjoyable❤️❤️
when you said, "Pho as in not Fur animal.." I burst out laughing and it was in the exact timing as yours. I enjoyed your cooking so much and has used your Adobo chicken recipe over and over again. Even my Filipino friend is impressed. Keep up the joy of cooking!
Hi Marion. Always love when I get a notification for a new recipe. It’s helped me get back into cooking. Do you know if there is a substitute for fish sauce if you are allergic?🇬🇧
Love your videos! Made my chicken dumplings today from your dumpling wrapper video. They turned out okay but hey its a first! They love my chinese lemon chicken though.
I’m binge watching these videos. I’ve bought everything to make a couple of different dumplings. An hour ago, I got my click & collect groceries home & said to hubby, “these shallots are Uber big. They’re almost leeks!” Hear basically the same thing said at about 25:00 & I’m looking around at no one to see if they’d heard the same thing 😳🤣
Jicama aka Mexican yam bean comes close to water chestnuts.....or for sweeter, tangy fruit taste, big, crunchy chinese pears or nashi pears like those Pyrus pyrifolia. I used those pears in the filling to get my young kids try new foods XD
how elegantly you eat with sticks! soup! impossible for me :D when i use it, i'm always so dirty :D but i know, you use it all your life, I'm middle European girl, my weapons are forks and spoons :D
I've watched so many pho recipe videos and this one has been the most helpful. I love the way Marion explains everything in full detail!
Very nice recipes! We just subscribed to her channel too! Feel free to subscribe to ours. We love Chinese Cuisine and we have a weekly recipe to share with our friends all over the world:) Food gathers!
What I find interesting is Marion is eating Pho without making a mess yet here I am eating nothing and got drool on my shirt. 🤤
Tried the Schecuan pepper today. It is fabulous. Unique flavor. Used it with chicken, capsicum, onions and soy sauce. Never tasted anything like it. I'm addicted already. Can't wait to try it with beef.
OMG u inspire us all and your background music is ever so slightly and not overpowering and annoying. You are absolutely incredible and your Mom too!!

Heavenly! Beef shank also works really well in the pho stock. The beetroot instead of red food coloring is genius!

I really enjoy and like all the videos and it make my mouth watery. 🤭😋😋😋

Pork neck is not available to me; would pork shoulder work as well? Thank you for all the wonderful work you do. We've been fans since MCA days!
Often pork neck and pork shoulder are the same cut, just different names. So using pork shoulder would be just fine :-)
@@Marionskitchen Thanks!
11:48. I was really surprised that this wasn’t red onion. My favorite, and a color contrast.

Wow! I started making your pho recipe this noontime. Great minds!
Great recipes. Thanks Marion.
Hey Marion, can we see your take on Butter Chicken?
Hi Marion. Always love when I get a notification for a new recipe. It’s helped me get back into cooking. Do you know if there is a substitute for fish sauce if you are allergic?🇬🇧
Have a look at Modern Pepper for her fish sauce substitute. I’m not vegan/vegetarian so don’t know how hers are.
