Fionna and Cake ended up being one of the best things to come from the Adventure Time universe. Here are my thoughts about the series

Amazing series
A lot
Now if only Hasbro do this with MLPFiM and dump G5.
can you do a deep dive of the monster girl genre?
Honestly I'm glad Simon finally reached some sort of closure, after all the guys been through, he seriously needed it.
And meanwhile: lich becomes a tetris block 💀
@@SleepyWhistlesDidn't really feel bad for the Lich at all tbh when it was literally all his fault for what he did and his goal was pure evil.
At the end, did glob turn back to normal?
It was amazing to see
@@IcyLightning00we don't know.
Some people are saying that the words on the buss bettygolb took means "comet", but after looking a bit into their evidence, it's more than a little bit shaky.
But with all the "season 1" they keep throwing around(the playlist on spotify is has season 1 on it, and most news stories keep saying season one), i am hoping for something more that would explain what happened to betty, and maybe get more into what's happening with shermy and beth.
As long time Adventure Time fan Fiona and Cake was such a joyful experience and I wouldn’t mind getting a season 2
Hopefully it's about shermy and beth's story :3
Adventure Time really likes setting up for the new comers
I'd love to see a season 2
I think making a new season is a great idea
Same here, but I WOULD mind NOT getting a season 2 for this masterpiece of a show.
Adventure Time is the most unique animated series ever. The world building and character development is unmatched.
Its worldbuilding depth rivals that of Lotr, thats impressive
My farts are better than Saberspark’s farts 💨
100% agree
Great pfp! I love Felix Colgrave
@@kiboma4209
I don't know if I'd say it rivals LOTR as much as seems to draw some inspiration from it. Both franchises/stories are lore-heavy and some of the character arcs remind me of variations of the character arcs in Tolkien's works.
Maglor (the last of Feanor's sons) throwing away the last Silmaril in Silmarillion is similar to Simon letting go of Betty, to me.
Old Finn isn’t as happy as he seems, it may not look like it but he’s struggling with loss as well, the reason he proposed a quest to cheer Simon up and give him purpose was because that’s what Finn’s been doing to avoid having to think about Jake
@InevitableOption-ic2vx Oh my Golb they were wallmates
@InevitableOption-ic2vx must be cool being 4th dimensional.
It's so amazing that such an amazing show started off as just the Ice King's genderbent fanfiction. Also, all the trauma Simon has been through is just tragic. Man spent the past 1000 years having been turned into a mad princess kidnapping ice wizard, AND lost his fiancée because of it. And now he's told he has to turn back too restore magic to an entire universe. I'm glad he was finally able to find peace and is ready to just live life.
Very much agreed.

@@p-__your a pointless spam bot but you have a peep and the big wide world pfp so I gotta give credit where credits due
I wish he met a new lover that he could move on with
Yeah. I just hate the fact that the finale seems to gaslight him into thinking that he neglected Betty’s desires. I mean, the only time this actually happens is not having her go on the bus. The “choose your own adventure” for the crown doesn’t hold up because in reality they simply purchased it from a guy in scandinavia. The only way it makes sense is if all the expeditions they went on afterward were what he wanted, but the show never tells us that.
Scarab warned that as a legit universe now, they "get the bad stuff too." A second season could certainly explore what that entails.
Honestly there's a lot of ways there could be more I hope that with its success and the potential loose ends they left that the original plans changed and more will come (it was originally a limited series, but the crew has expressed they would love to explore this world more and I hope they do)
Most likely another lich
💮Or maybe a goddamn Mushroom War
LICH HAND. LICH HAND. LUCH HAND.
Probably the Koch and Fiona gonna have to lose an arm
The thing that I really absolutely adore about the ending is that neither Simon nor Fionna got what they thought they wanted. They instead got a future without regret. Simon did not get Betty, but he got closure, perspective, and a sense of self-worth. Fionna did not get her magical world where she kicked ass. She got the same world she was in before but with a new sense of appreciation with what and who she had in her life. There were no right answers. There were just things that could have gone differently.
She got a magical world bruv
@@MacenWYeah but if you take the magical elements out it’s basically the same but with her being more energetic, magic doesn’t actually enhance her life in any way
I didn't like Fiona's ending tbh. Imagine Finn deciding "I think I'm done adventuring, normal life sounds pretty good after all", like no way lol. I know they're not the same but just didn't feel right imo.
It kind of made sense to me. We know that Finn never really got over Jake’s death. From what we see of him in this show, and the advice he gives Simon, it’s like he’s using his endless adventuring as a coping mechanism to keep going. His attitude was upbeat the whole time, but I found it kind of sad.
I think a version of him that has experienced a more stable, normal life might see things differently
@@linatwoones Your comment makes logical sense. At the end of this series we are given the illusion that Betty is dead because she risked everything including her life to keep Simon safe.
In some ways it’s like when a loved one loses his or her significant other. Most people can’t get over it easily and Simon has gained acceptance and forgiveness. He is my favorite character on adventure time ever.
Tom Kenny is a great voice actor. I am so use to him just doing silly voices but man did this show how much emotional range he has.
Nobody will replace him when it comes to living in a pineapple under the sea or an intelligent professor who lost so much.
Tom Kenny is a living legend and nobody can say otherwise
I love how Beth was so respectful to Shermy about him being Simon, even though she didn't know Simon was real and not Shermy
@InevitableOption-ic2vxAnd Shermy's voice actor is Sean Giambrone, who voices Yumyulack in Solar Opposites.
@@Chigger Lol once I heard it I knew they were voiced by the same actor
That part of the show was sooo sad. The juxtaposition of the intense fight for their lives that Fionna’s world is going through, meanwhile Simon has all the time in the world with a book and a supporting figure and just has to figure out how to be understood in a world where he doesn’t belong. The same struggle he’s always been dealing with but come to a head.
I personally could relate extremely much to the ending and Simon learning that Betty pretty much sacrificed everything for him and how bad it actually was. I still miss my ex from two years ago, because she was everything for me, but eventually she broke up with me after being separated for a while and she realized how much she was sacrificing for me. I couldn’t understand, weren’t we in love? This show helped me cope and realize what was going on
I had the same thing with my ex, she broke up with me a year ago and it wasn't untill 3 months ago i watch adventure time again and then watched fiona and cake a few weeks back where i realized my relationship was a mixture of finn and FP and simon and betty.
I was FP being manipulated by a finn but unlike FP i didnt leave when i saw the warning signs and turned into betty who dropped everything and ignored my own wants, needs and life to completely be subservient to my ex who was more like finn but way worse honestly because she KNEW she was manipulating me and emotionally abusing me and she was 18 while finn was a hormonal 14 something year old boy that just got lost in his own hormones. Looking at the relationship through adventure time terms the heavy anger, hate, confusion i felt just disappeared...i felt lighter and i thought of her and for once thought nothing, if anything i forgive her for what she did. And im now finally in the healing stage.
I was so well fed by this series, because back in the day teen me was so obsessed with Simon & shed so many tears over his story. This was a wonderful exploration of his character and conclusion to his arc.
I'm still obsessed with his story
@@rosykindbunny1313 We got a lot out of Simon because he sometimes holds the glue for a great series like adventure time. I’ve got nothing but respect and love for the brother.
Me too! When all throughout my teens, I was in LIVE with Adventure Time, and Simon was constantly one of my favorite characters. His story still means so much to me
This show is so damn good, honestly way better than I expected. I really hope this sets a new standard for adult animation.
The way the lich becomes a tetris block still haunts me until today from brutal it is 💀
@@SleepyWhistlesa fitting end for him. He devoted everything to a being of absolute chaos, and thought that being would have a grand goal. Turns out, chaos means chaos and unexpectedness.

I agree, while the show does lowbrow humor it still knows how to take itself seriously to be vulnerable and show heart.
@@SleepyWhistleshe had it coming
There are just so many questions still left to be answered. Really hope we get a season 2 but tbh I'm just happy we got to see a more mature look at this multiverse.
Real
I think they purposely do that just in case they get a chance to do more. They ended Adventure Time with a lot of loose ends, some of which got addressed in Fionna and Cake (e.g. that beam of light directed at Ice King in Fionna and Cake and Fionna ultimately being revealed to be Prismos doing in in the spinoff). Hopefully the crew do get the chance to do more AT

Highly doubt we're getting a second season considering this is MAX, the very same streaming service that gave us VELMA, and greenlit that abomination for a second season and yanked all the good shows.
I don't think i've ever related to a piece of media more than Fionna and Cake, Fionnas struggles hit so close to home for me, its almost creepy how my favorite childhood cartoon keeps growing up with me.
The scary part is seeing an evil version of Marceline. With her abilities she could’ve been worse than the Lich.

Simon: "what a nice metaphor"
CQ: "not a metaphor"

The best part of the ending of episode 10 was that Fionna and Cake dream of Simon having a goodnight sleep, the best one he ever had for years and he really deserve it
Finally a adult cartoon that doesn't just relay on swearing and gore constantly as a crutch because they don't know how else to do mature topics.

I agree. Sometimes a series that grows up with an audience is outstanding. Especially when it covers dark topics later on in life.
My only issue with the ending is that they forgot to mention what happened with Farmworld Finn, and whether he survived or not. If he died, it's a scummy move for Jay to abandon his siblings.
Unless his siblings died too.
@@calvinfujii5921 Possibly, but hopefully not. Still, I wish they brought clarity to the matter.
@InevitableOption-ic2vx Maybe he will grow up if he decides to remain outside his universe.
And don't forget the Lich hands.
As a man who has had to move forward through life after the loss of a lover through tragedy, these concepts of accepting the decisions you made in the relationship even knowing you could’ve made better ones and learning to love yourself again and find new purpose because you know they truly loved you and would’ve wanted that for you, this hit really close to home.
I’m sorry you had to go through that. I can tell you it is not easy at all and watching Simon really hit me because he is someone I can relate too.
It does make me extremely happy that they still find ways to continue the series without following Finn anymore.😺
Fionna is technically genderbend Finn so
this story isnt even about fionna at all.
My farts are better than Saberspark and Saberfart’s farts 💨
agreed. I would love a Beth and Shermy spin off in the future world of Ooo
as long as it isn't Shermy. Worst Finn reincarnation imo. I'd be interested in a short series about Shoko, or something adapting the comics The Beginning of The End and Season 11. (esp season 11 since it was cancelled, plot looked interesting later) I'd also love to see red headed dementia Marcy.
I apreciate how they didnt villify simon and bettys relationship. They both really did love each other they were simply people who made bad choices.
It needs to be said, as good as a voice actor Tom Kenny is, he deserves a freaking Emmy for this series. He portrays Simon's drama as real, traumatic, and difficult to process, taking it seriously but never making it feel disingenuous, only sincere. This was his masterclass.
Fionna and Cake is a god damn masterpiece
If Adventure Time keeps having spinoffs of this quality, it could easily be one of the best modern franchises in general, well moreso than it already is anyways lol
😮 It's you!
“One of” I can’t think of any better
It was cool seeing Simon realize what his relationship was really like
I agree. Sometimes you learn stuff the hard way and by the time you learn it, the damage is done.
I really enjoyed this mini series, It was so much fun to watch! Getting to see Fionna and Cake brought to life was ever so satisfying!!!
I hope that someday adventure time will continue their story and make another series about shermy and beth, i want to see their world and most importantly on how gibbon gets the ice thing's crystal
I feel like Fionna and Cake as a series is wrapped up, but there's a lot left to explore that I can't imagine the writers are done with this world. I can totally see a Distant Lands "season 2" or other types of specials or series picking up where Fionna and Cake leaves off, and I really hope Max allows the team to do it. Fionna and Cake is definitely Adventure Time's best outing yet, it feels like the team is just getting started with everything they can do with these characters and worlds.
Considering that MAX greenlit the 2nd season of VELMA (It was not CANCELLED). Highly doubt it, and if they did, it would most likely be for a barbinenmer scheme.
Only time will tell if a new series is to be established or not. Honestly I would like to see them do a miniseries on the mushroom war and how it nearly wiped out humanity.
All jokes aside, Adventure Time is, or at least was, one of the reasons I am here today. Got me through some really tough times in my adolescence and I owe a lot of who I am today to Pen and his team. These shows are so influential in pop culture and animation. The world will never be the same and hopefully we will continue to see amazing things come from their creators.
Love how they tied Ice King getting Fiona & Cake fanfics world zapped into this head with that one episode where that fake Fiona reveals herself & asked Ice King how he would get them “Idk I just get them beamed into my brain at night” LOL
That episode was okay, not great, but the new series makes it so much better.
Im so glad they finally decided to make a show of fionna and cake!

I love it:)
Fiona and Cake honestly looks phenominal and RUclips trying to screw it out of any sort of attention really sucks.
what do you mean by youtube trying to screw it over? my friend got spoiled on part of the ninth episode thru youtube recommendations

How is RUclips, in particular, screwing it over? Is it on RUclips, affected by their algorithm? Have they not accepted ads for it?? 'Cause, as far as I'm aware, RUclips doesn't really have any power over the show.
Not so much youtube as it is HBO giving underwhelming adruns of the show alongside RUclips. I agree that the algorithm has been suppressing the new content but honestly that means you have to engage with the content since I've been getting recommended fan animatics/fan animations/fanart in general alongside meme clips lol.

@@gbagel9663same, I'm glad I wasn't spoiled about Jerry though
Honestly when i see golbetty kills the lich it gaves me chill because lich was known the most powerful main antagonist of adventure time, and golbetty just made him a tetris less than minute 💀
Keep in mind that GOLB is akin to a force of nature. The embodiment of destruction and chaos. No surprise that it can fold the Lich like an omelette.
Eh. One of the Lich’s titles was “The last scholar of Golb” so logically speaking, Golb was like god/master to him
The Lich might still be alive as Tetris block

I think it's important to recognize that Finn in this series is post-Jake's-death Finn. In Distant Lands, he clearly never got over losing Jake, and In Fionna and Cake, it's no different. He's been trying hard to stay happy go lucky and adventure 'til he drops without opening up his heart too much. We know Finn is capable of great empathy, and can connect through serious conversation, but at this moment in time, he just couldn't bring himself to be serious with Simon. In fact, Finn DOES know Simon was struggling a ton, so he showed him the only way to cope he knows...adventuring time.
It feels like some sort of insane miracle that I've grown up with this franchise for more than half my life, and it's legitimately growing alongside me and still feels as lively and creative as ever. Very few franchises last for this long and maintain this level of quality while substantively evolving the storyline and/or themes that came before it. I'm frankly just grateful for all the work the staff has put into making this series so special.
I'm glad the ending idea for this show wasn't "magic and imagination bad and just escapism, be an adult" She can realize it's not her idealized version of reality, but it also isn't empty of that magic she was looking for. She just had to change her perspective on it. In a similar way that Simon had to when it came to his relationships.
God this was great. Tom Kenny, lest we forget, is an absolute unit of a VA. This take on Simon is so good. And to use a fun side thing like Fionna & Cake to basically summarize the pains of aging and loss of childhood and the existential dread of mattering or not. The Finn & Jake reunion made me cry, and so did this.
I'm glad you liked it as well. It's true that we have to live with our choices. There was a great post I saw explaining the main theme of the show:
"The main concept of the finale seems to be there's no do overs. There's no going back. Betty can't take back her decisions. And Simon can't recover what he lost to the Crown. Ultimately, Fionna and Cake was a story of accepting your life, no matter how much it hurts to do so. A bad situation sometimes just needs to be left behind, or else you go crazy constantly trying to fix it. Somethings can't be fixed, but that doesn't have to be the ending."
And I related to that a lot. I can't fix my past choices but I can learn to live with it and make better ones.
Being able to grow with Adventure time and its later shows is really a big part of it. Seeing Fiona deal with the mundane nowadays hits so hard. Im also glad we have a " normal" world but dream of escapism just as her
as soon as I read this title, I thought "same here"
the last 2 episodes made me cry because I thought something would've happened to my most favorite character ever.
I love this show so much I would watch it over and over again, that's how good it is
One thing I love about Fionna and Cake is how it recontextualizes Finn's role in "Come Along With Me".
I used to be a bit disappointed that Finn didn't do much in that episode besides lure some of the characters into making a negotiation in a dream and then later pulling Simon out of Golb, but... Finn pulled Simon out of Golb.
Without knowing it, Finn saved an entire universe by showing kindness to a time-displaced antiquarian. He saw the value of Simon as a person, and that led to Fionna and Cake's entire dimension continuing to exist.
As huge AT fan I adore Fiona and cake I knew I’d love it I love the original series and distant lands but man FAC hit so different like it was truly just an amazing and deep story about growing up dealing with love loss sadness finding where you belong in the world just thinking about it right now has me misty id be so excited to see a season 2 but if it ends here I’d be perfectly fine with that I also just love the amount of clear passion put into the series you can tell it was meant to be speical
Fionna’s journey is what stuck out to me, it was incredibly dynamic and super well-written, she started as an annoying egotistical insecure character, got a taste of responsibility, went through an existential crisis, started valuing the things she has, learned empathy along the way, and in the end she managed to accept herself for who she is, even if she’s a long way from perfection, will probably still struggle with making choices and regret, not knowing which way she should be. it all makes her feel like a real person and a very relatable one at that, i’m amazed they managed to fit and balance her whole journey in 4 hours of content along with other amazing characters, stories and themes, the pacing was perfect and it all felt so nice and neat, i honestly love being an adventure time fan right now 💆
I thought it was going to be just another reboot originally, but I was absolutely blown away by how great this show was and incredibly pleased with how they handled all the lore and source material
adventure time is one of the very very few series' from childhood that keeps getting better with age and knows how to add to its universe without new things feeling like a cash-driven project, which is so refreshing in this age of constant reboots. everything has heart and meaning, and i commend the team for creating such a wonderful world that i hope we keep getting snippets of for years to come (or until they decide it's actually over)
Fionna and Cake IS the series I was expecting when watching Bee and Puppycat. I am so glad we finally got it.
It was a wonderful short series. The cast and crew did an amazing job with this psychological adventure.
Betty's situation is horrifying to think about. Imagine being permanently fused to a chaos deity and being unable to do anything. In addition to never being able to die or escape from that fate
While I fell off watching cartoons when Adventure time entered its later seasons I was still so invested in these characters. The writing was incredible and the voice acting was top notch. The Flapjack cameo was also very appreciated.
So glad you covered this! F and C was so surprising and unique, it made me so sentimental for AT that I'm giving it a rewatch.
Keep the videos coming! That winter king ep was so good it needs it's own deep dive.
I like to think that they left many loose threads in the final episode in order to get a second season and I for one advocate for it. Fionna and Cake is absolutely fantastic
IDK if I want another season. There's a few unanswered questions yes but not much reason for fionna and cake to get involved in. Seems like the best route is to make another series.
This is genuinely one of the best animated series of all time. Adventure Time continues to be excellent and thought provoking and Fionna and cake continued that legacy so perfectly. I love how it explored the ideas of wanting more out of your life and learning to accept the hand that has been dealt to you. I love the narrative parallels with Simon and Fionna and I especially love hot the multiverse angle wasn't *really* the focus. It was just a narrative tool to teach them the lessons they needed to learn.
I remember when this was just about a boy and his talking dog going on silly adventures and fighting an evil Ice King. It’s crazy how much the show has grown from that. 😅
I think my three gripes with this show were GOLBetty, Scarab, and Finn. I was expecting GOLBetty to be more fleshed out, and for Finn to get to do something. Scarab started as honestly an understandable villain, but kinda just went insane towards the end, even when he no longer had to do his job. Hoping we get a S2 of Fionna and Cake, that adds some more for Finn.
There's been a lot of people who don't like the finale, that I've seen at least, but I personally really liked the finale personally! I think it concluded the season in a pretty good way :D
I think the rest of the show was so friggin good that the hype buildup for the finale was so high, it had no way of living up to expectations and wrapping everything up in a neat bow in just 2 less than 30 min episodes. like imo they were still good, just not quite as good as some of the other episodes. I'm just glad they concluded Simon and betty's arc and gave Fionna and cake room to grow and be independent in their own universe
Season 2 is coming
Adventure Time is one of the most influential pieces of art in my life, alongside THE "The Hobbit" if not more. I grew up with it, and the finale taught me tears of happiness. I went to film school partly because I wanted to make something similar. Now it's graduation year, and the series, my greatest inspiration, comes back. I feel blessed
I really loved the series. Seeing Fionna older and struggling with adult challenges that I faced at the same age was so relatable. The conclusion was so good! I’m grateful we got to see these characters really developed further.
one small detail i really liked was cake gradually figuring out her powers
It was fun. Most of this were in "Destiny". My favorite was her interraction with Simon, when he trying controling situation.
I like how Simon’s situation, parallels how he was in the past. All he wanted before was the love of his life, his princess, Betty. He loved her, but the crown corrupted him, making her love a need for him. By Fiona and Cake, he wants her back, but deep down, is seeking closure, not love. In the end, knowing that the Betty he knew is gone, he gains that closure, and is able to let go, and finally move on. He still has Marceline, but Fiona and Cake became new found friends he could relate to more. Simon may have not been able to get back the love he lost-Betty, but he did reclaim the years he’d lost to the crown, finally able to live his life.
This proves that animation is still alive
Just watched Fionna and Cake and have successfully completed my Adventure Time rewatch in its entirety with this new addition. I can confidently say this show is my favorite cartoon of all time, and every new entry of the story just cements that in my heart.
The consistency of this series story is like no other compared to some AAA titles out there. The writers did phenomenal work.
can’t believe they did my man good martin so DIRTY, he was definitely one of my favorite au characters
9:54 that alone makes it the funniest crossover moment in any cartoon ever seeing Bender from Futurama along side Finn and Jake the Dog makes it the funniest moment ever
I loved the series, the theme struck me deep, it really is hard letting go but is necessary to keep on, i think its fine where it ended and making a season 2 wouldn't be bad but i wouldn't be opposed to the idea, what i really would want is a season of adventure time with beth and shermy, that was a plot in the original that was interesting but only foreshadowed and seeing them again here made me more excited to learn more about them and what happened, in the end I applaud this series, it gave me a fun time even after all the tears it made me shed
According to the OST artwork on Spotify this is only Season One. So we may be getting more episodes, likely based in fan reception to this first season.
You forgot some important things, Simon (or ice king) DID NOT CREATE THEM. Prismo created Fionna and cake, but he can’t make them canon so instead he transfer that world into ice kings head, BUT when he turned back to Simon, that world that Prismo CREATED turned into a normal world, which kinda reference on how Ice King is so magic and when he turned back into Simon, then your back into reality.
There has never been a show quite like Adventure Time. It's just it's own weird little thing, they captured some kind of magic with that series and that world that nobody else has even come close to.
One of my all time favorite shows, not even animated shows, just favorite shows.
IM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH SCARAB
“oh no he’s hot”
I've only watched clips of Fionna and Cake, since I don't have HBO, but I still saw enough to enjoy the show and loved it so much.
Seeing Fionna emotionally evolve, especially with how selfish she acted at the beginning, dismissing everyone else's dreams about how their world used to be as not as important as her on, including Fern, was wonderful.
She still had that drive she'd had at the beginning of the show, but she understood that you have to think of others as well as yourself.
The prime example being when she first sees footage of Ice King, she says he looked happy to dismiss Simon's comment about him being insane, but then, when in the Lich's dead world, she doesn't want Simon to become Ice King again because she understood he'd been miserable even if Ice King himself couldn't understand it because his brain was so bonked up from the crown... which I just realized, since Golb reverted it back to it's prime form, Gunter, Santa Claus and all the other minds whose imprint were living in the crown were erased from existence.
Well, that's pretty morbid

And so we say goodbye to Adventure Time…for the third time. I really hope this truly is it, because I don’t think my heart can take it anymore.
its genuinely crazy that this show managed to mature and grow up with its fans as we watched it
Adventure Time so far has really good spin-offs and continuations from the main show. So long as they have the same crew onboard, I am all for more Adventure Time, no matter the main characters.
Glad that the spirit of adventure time never dies
I truly believe they could squeeze out a season two in this, especially with the other worlds that were involved. it doesnt have to be about simon and betty
Now that Fiona’s world is canonized, maybe we’ll get to see her and ooo Finn do an adventure together.
I want to see Simon go on more adventures with them
IT MADE ALL OF US CRY MAN
My heart always gets so full whenever I see Adventure Time continuing and bringing in a new and fresh audience. I remember following the series from the 2007 while I was in college to when it was finally picked up by Cartoon Network and beyond.
Honestly Simon carried Adventure time… along with Finn and Jake ( Marceline was one of my favs too ) and more too! ( I have too many favorites so I don’t make the comment too long )
All of these characters hold a place on my heart
real
2:38 It's funny, because my friend and I did exactly this. We started rewatching all of Adventure Time last September/October and finished it this year. We were completely caught up for Fionna and Cake, even though we didn't even know of its existence at the time.
My only real complaint was baby Finn coming to Fionna's world for really no reason, the idea of Finn growing up in a vampire world and becoming the heroic vampire hunter sounded really cool
5:32 that’s because Fionna and Cake’s og creator Natasha Allegri made Bee and Puppycat 🐝
If they'll ever continue the Adventure Time storyline, I think they should tell the story of the current Simon having a healthy relationship with adult Marceline. I mean all the other loose end has been tied. Finn & Jake story, Bonnie & Marceline, Fionna & Cake. Even The Lich and Golb is no longer a threat. I just feel like Marceline spent so much time dedicating herself in the orginal Adventure Time trying to have a normal relationship with Ice King/Simon that when Simon is finally back to normal it's not explored. Make it a Distant Land type spinoff. Simon & Marcy. ❤️
And make an Adult Finn spin off series.
I think the show was great for the fans, cant really see a second season because anyone outside of the fandom wont like the forced connections and refrences. You had to have watched Adventure time to understand a lot of it. Great "wrap up" and fun to watch
I truly feel like this show, came out at the perfect time for me to be missing my childhood, but so ready for adulthood’s challenges in a way that just resonated perfectly for many of us right now
I want to see Fionna, Cake and Simon going on more adventures
Good to be nice and early for a new Saberspark video but, Cartoon Network shows are truly some of the best and have impacted everyone's lives like Gumball, Regular Show, Ben 10 and Teen Titans there's so many to count. In fact I don't think I ever truly did finish or get deep into Adventure Time like other shows I've gotta finish it and its specials.
*Quite amazing though how so many of these tv shows started off light hearted silly and fun and then really developed these fantastic stories with the perfect touch of comedy*
If Finn did hang out with adult Steven it would be like him hanging out woth depressed Simon and Steven wouldnt let him kill anything, guy would just be a buzzkill.
Seeing our original Finn again (farmworld) made me burst out in nasty fat tears, also Jeremy did really well sounding older! Dad Finn did something to me, yeesh. Wish I could have seen more of fem Fern though, he's my favorite and he was a super interesting, engaging character that wasn't handled well. Her saying "mine are too messed up to even talk about," when they were sharing about their dreams on the bus got me up in my feelings. AT means so much to me, and I'm so glad this show treated it with the respect its plot/canon deserves.
This show made me so happy and I hope it gets a blu-ray release so I can add it next to my adventure time blu-ray collection
i just finished painting 3m tall prismo on my wall yes splendid i can feed my fixation now
