Somewhere Beyond the Sea

Doug Kenney was taking his evening walk on July 5th and encountered a birthday party at a nearby park. The people at the party were singing with a karaoke machine and asked Doug to perform his best musical number. Douglas chose his favorite song: Beyond the Sea.
He previously performed it at the Estes Park Talent Show in April 2010, which was a pivotal moment in his journey. It was the turning point from when Doug went from reclusiveness and introverted to becoming more confident around people and leading up to the confidence in himself to run the R&U podcast and channel.
This performance was NOT supposed to be perfect, it was for me to entertain the birthday girl and the birthday family…and they loved it.
