I dig the frame and motors, I just don't trust any Electronics from betafpv anymore. Great video as usual, DM!! 🙌
I've never had any Betafpv stuff but man word is on the street that their electronics are shit. you have the same experience?
@@Roundawg yeah, the problem with them, is that they design really cool products on paper, with thoughtful features, and clever engineering, but they don't do any quality control, so your chances of getting a lemon are really high. When I first started in the hobby, I picked up the beta fpv Advanced 2 Kit with a meteor 75, and goggles and a lite radio 2. The quad came broken, with a faulty ESC, and they would not answer my support tickets, so I tracked down one of their employees on facebook, a really nice kid, who did his best to help me, but essentially over the next 6 months they continue to send me dead flight controller after dead flight controller. Four in total. I ended up having to purchase a new flight controller out of pocket to replace it to get it flying. It was a nightmare. After I got it flying, I got about 6 hours of use out of the radio before it started developing dead spots in the center of the right gimbal. So it's completely unusable. I understand that stuff happens in this Hobby but at least stand behind your products and try to make the customer happy. Since then I've heard a ton of Horror stories, recently they were sending out bind n flies with motor screws that were long enough they grounded out on the coils and would start on fire on the first plug-in. And just today, if you watch Mr shutterbugs video, they're sending out f4 1s flight controllers that will brick themselves if you plug them in to the usb, or a battery. If you've never plugged it in, the workaround is to plug into USB while holding down the bootloader button to put it into dfu mode and flash a different release of betaflight. Pretty obvious they don't check them before they go out the door. I stay away from them on principal, though I do like the look of some of their frames, and I have had decent luck with their micro motors.

I like the looks of that frame, the ducts on my Protek 35 crack somewhat easily, I got tired of buying replacement ones and just started DIYing the external part with more fiberglass and reinforcing it lol

Wow how easy was the building. Can I put the inside of my geprc cinelog 25 into this frame? the weak spots of my cinelog 25 quad are the motor arms of the top plate and on every little crash breaks one of them and I must completely disassemble the quad to change the top plate. this process is very time consuming and I search to another solution. The Construction of Pavo25 seems very stable.

watched the first 18:53 and did not see the new bluetooth xt30 battery connector being soldered to the FC ?
With the FC, why are the Vbat+ and - HUGE holes instead of pads? How am I supposed to solder the thin wires from the SMO 4K to them?

Haven't found one cinewhoop that flies decently when loaded up. They seem to be tuned to kill all vibration during very smooth flying but this indroduces weird out of the blue drops and flutters when trying anything even remotely freestyle.

Hey Drainman question here. How do you prevent Cinewhoops motors from getting hot ??
I have a Terraplane with brotherhobby 2400kv. I run a 1250mah 6s with light flying but the motors still get hot to the touch.

Poor frame material , Not worth buying and upgrading , Why do all the personal introductions say this it is very good , but no one will say that it is not good , This rack was broken after I flew twice .

Yes this is some bs; they are doing it to a lot of quad channels. Captain Drone released a video specifically dedicated to just that subject probably not even a week ago. Don't fall for these scams!
