what's the weight? Thx!!! I want it to be comparable to my modified reversb frames, can't find kiss v2 FC's so will probably build a new fleet soonish.... :(
Thanks for that review! Now I want to build this! They also sent me one. Don't fly 5"often, but with this maybe I'm less scared to crash it? Looking forward to your build and test video, greets, Mario
I used a center tpu insert on my skelter5 v2. I have a screenshot of the blackbox on printables. It's not a gimmick. It actually helps dampen out the vibration.
I never thought I'd ever say this about a frame, but the 110$ price tag on this seems to be justified. I thought this was gonna be just another rando frame review, which is nothing special, but I was wrong. I mean, this is basically everything that I am looking for in a frame: 6mm arms, soft mount camera, split bottom plate, x geometry. Now, there are many other frames having all this at a lower price (even the tbs source one), but the extra touches and extra thought that have gone into this are crazy. Now I will surely not switch to it, as I do not have the budget. I'm currently running a clone apex from Aliexpress for 19 bucks and it seems ok and solid. But if I had to choose between this and a real Apex, I might actually go with Itsfpv one
Hey guys, I have a Runcam Phoenix SE that comes with 6 cables. Starting from left I have red wire which I'm going to solder to the 5v on my speedybee v4, a black wire that I will solder to ground, yellow wire I'm soldering to cam. The 3 additional wires are blue, black then blue. I want to be able to access the camera osd through the flight controller. Does soldering any of the blue wire to cc on the flight controller enable camera control? Point of information this is my first time building a drone
@@YOUAREALIEN-xg3gf First of all, thats a pretty big d*ckhead move to spam under comments. Second of all, those wires do not work as cc if wired to the fc. Just cut them off or depin the plug
@@YOUAREALIEN-xg3gf I have Runcam Phoenix 2 SE and the last blue wire is the camera control (the one in the middle is apparently for voltage sensing when not using a flight controler). When you flash betaflight remember to pick from other options "Cam. Control".

Damn, the future is here lol! This frame is sick...$110 for the 5 inch, is a little pricey, but if it proves to be as durable as they say, it'll save you a bunch of $ on the long run....Good review man!
Nice frame I'll have to check it out I'm addicted to building new frames amd are the props in view of the 03 camera I was about to buy the superfly frame for 130 so this one is cheaper lol thanks man
On syncmode/flipmode camera is at the same level as front motors or even a bit further forward than motors, and you still get some props on wide and of course a lot of props in view on ultrawide. Sooo, I believe with this frame you will have props in view all the time. I would go with supafly for o3, they are also a super durable bandobashers
Loved the shirt bro! And review was spot on! Please also review the Lumaquad 5 Freestyle frame. It is juicy AF with the 4.9" arms (210mm wheelbase 🤯) 🧃
Love the design of this frame , when I saw it I must say I was very intrigued. Everything looks pretty awesome about the design , my only concern is action camera mounting. How strong is that single point on the print itself ? Also , what was the AUW on the frame and hardware brother ?
Can't wait to see the impact testing... any chance you could weigh the frame by itself as I can't find any info on that? If I built one of these to survive a band... 100% I'd get this stuck in a tree or on a roof on the first pack
It's definitely a cool frame with what seems groundbreaking new frame technology! The down side is you never know how long these new companies will last, so if you buy this frame I would by a dozen replacement arms sooner than later!
Looks like an awesome frame. Only gripe is The GoPro mount is going to break and rip through the little tiny bit of tpu where the screw goes through 100%. Good luck finding that black print in a bando or woods. lol. Also I need to know if the props are in view when using an 03 air unit. Also I never did see a reply to the 8s video you made. I would like to know what electronics you had in that bad boy. ☮️
I think it’s worth the money. A lot of people fly the Apex and I know itsKen was using the Apex. I think this is a lot better for a little more $ than the Apex Evo.
So gopro angle carnt be adjusted ? Carnt see that lasting long after a few crashes ? And shes expensive no hate just sayin that gopro angle / mount needs attention in my view
I fly a hero 9 black that thing is 162 grams w Enduro battery.....I'm too scared to use the plywood because cable that runs off your balance lead....I don't care about the 35 grams enough
Let me be clear this frame has one major flaw! The camera cage. Not only does it NOT fit an O3 camera. But also because the camera cage is so thick it makes the build very hard because you have barely any space for a cap or a buzzer. To make this frame actually work. The camera cage needs to be a lot thinner and smaller to make more room.
it look ok(avg),but unknown builders and a 110.00 frame.could be great ,but not for us poor guys to fly.took 2 years to save to get me a used set of integra goggles and a vista.
@refurbished_fpv no im not saying it isn't good im.just saying there are a lot of good frames out there fo 50$ or less im not seeing another 50$ worth of features. 110$ is to much for a 5 inch frame to me anyway.
$110.00 bucks in this economy? Are you serious? At 80 bucks it would be a hard sell. And you have to buy their camera mounts. Nice looker but I will pass!
Excellant frame, over 100 is way too expensive, even if it was leaps and bounds ahead of all other frames, which it isnt. I could do a few revisions to this frame to make it even better, the fact they ignored these features kinda proves my point in my next statements. Example, new Tanq S 3.5 at 64 usd. What kills me the most, is the lack of american innovation, other than the tanq, not many american's doing much of anything overall but waiting. We as Americans really need to step up the game and be something more than registered dealers of crap made outside of america. It is all just cash cows for most owners, like Rotor Riot/Red Cat....buying up and absorbing companies and still doing it wrong by not investing into buillding's, machine's and workers to make their own products, still shipping products in from everywhere but america, and this will be our downfall. And this just isnt a major problem in the drone industry, this is a serious issue in all aspectgs of manufacturing and development of any kind of product.
So true unfortunately, I fly an American designed frame, but for a frame to compete in price, most carbon is cut in China. I agree with you, I would pay more for a 100 percent American made frame. But most go with what there budget allows.
Are there some cracks to see in the middle plate with the screw in te middle? Looks like its bend inwards with some cracks around the screw. @11:01
Appears to be right where the squishy foam plate goes in between
I would live to see a 3.5, or a 3 inch version!
That would be amazing... depending on how heavy it is!
what's the weight? Thx!!! I want it to be comparable to my modified reversb frames, can't find kiss v2 FC's so will probably build a new fleet soonish.... :(
I just built this frame with all new parts and it Flys amazing worth the money!!
Thanks for that review! Now I want to build this! They also sent me one. Don't fly 5"often, but with this maybe I'm less scared to crash it? Looking forward to your build and test video, greets, Mario
How heavy is it? Can't find a weight on their website?
I just dropped my review but some how you sold it to me again 😆 i have just been to a bando and tried to break it but its too strong

Do they have any tpu stl for the arms?
Gunna pick up 2 or 3 of these this weekend and start putting it through its paces. 💪
Great vid as always!
DrainMan makes my sunday every sunday he drops! blam!!!
What does the frame weigh?

Everything a German can make for $110, the Chinese can produce for $19 ;-)

does anybody know what the frame waights without elecronics?
Definitely a frame built by pilots and it shows. Seems to be a great basher, can’t wait to see the fly review

This is by far one of the most innovative frames I've seen come out within the last year

Pretty cool Drain man I can’t wait to see the crash test 👊🏻
What is it's weight?
Got one on the way. Looking forward to seeing how it flies and lasts at the bando

I can't wait for the build and bash video,I'm really curious to see how it holds up
Looks like a monster. 👾
Good review Drain Man
Looks like a great frame. Reminds me of the Apex frame - Apex 2.0 haha
Nylon vs Titanium camera cage? I'm going with Titanium, everytime.
It's definitely a cool frame with what seems groundbreaking new frame technology! The down side is you never know how long these new companies will last, so if you buy this frame I would by a dozen replacement arms sooner than later!
Where is the weight of this frame? It's funny how they missed this characteristic on product page

DrainMan 👊🏼
Drain man, I just bought the era frame, but I still want a heyyy pilots shirt, can you hook me up?
The reason this gram so good is because it’s made my Ken
How👏much👏does👏it👏weigh?
i need that shirt homie! where can i buy one?
I wish I could get them to send me one and compare it to my demibot
Would be good publicity still 6vs7 mm if I'm not mistaken
So good

Flyfish Volador 5-6” is the shit really for durability.

Nice frame, nice review.
but the price, it's too much for me.
He said hand squirted!!!😂🤣
im gonna have too get me one of deez
Not for 150 canadian no way
Maybe it's good, but 110$ for 5 inch? And why it's better then, let's say, Roma frame?
Hate frames that don’t tell you the weight
second
110 is too much no way I'm paying over 100$ for just a frame
you're missing Something... because of $10??

DestinyFPV is a girl's name
@mikebergman1817 really? Destiny fpv is a strange name for a girl .Although I do know a girl who named her douchbag Mike!
I like it but there's props in view so its a no no to me.
I want to know if this is true... Send me one haha
It does not break, please man, stop!!!!
