I think A-Train dying would be too predictable for his redemption arc. I honestly believe he will survive the entire series and become the leader or spokesperson of Supes who are actually heroes when Vought inevitably falls by the end of the final season. I think that would be a more satisfying ending to his arc

Here's my Billy Butcher prediction: from what we can tell given brief dialogue, the virus activates when it's exposed to compound V. Coincidentally, the tumor that's killing Butcher is all hopped up with compound V. In the finale, I predict Butcher won't be able to find a test subject for the virus, and use himself as a guinea pig. In a twist of fate, it may actually destroy the tumor and save his life.
in the last episode the title card had the a train puppet lying lifeless on the sofa, probably hinting at his death. it seems too obvious to me tho so I hope it's a red herring

Homelander Releases all the locked up supes from cia facility 7.ryan kills nurse in the vought tower and is happy about it wants to kill and homelander is terrified 8. We see soldier boy being "killed" by homelander, he gets his life supplies turned off by him 9. We see fights as, kimiko vs sam, Frenchie vs cate, starlight and hughie vs cindy and butcher vs neuman, 10. Assasination on singer wont work because when hughie and shapeshifter sit in the bunker, hughie notices that statlight is not "real" 11. Assasination may not be happening but still supes ABSOLUTELY take after the whole city if not country and they are telling people to kill all the starlighters 12. All of the boys have to leave the country 13. Butcher is terrified of his powers and drives away because he killed neuman infront of hughie and her daughter and zoe reminds him of ryan killing his own mother Thats pretty much it you can ask me for something

The second half of the season has been great but the first few episodes were pretty average. And the frenchie romance was just so stupid and wasn’t earned at all. It was just a waste of a subplot
My prediction is both A-Train and The Deep will bite it. Both became polar opposites despite being on the same level at the beginning. Deep would be a loss for The Seven, and A-Train would now technically be a loss for The Boys. Wouldn’t it make sense with where their characters are right now? Hope they get rid of Firecracker too. Her whole character has played its stereotype already. Maybe all of The Seven will see their demise at eyes of homelanders lol
I agree, 'the boys' are a s**tshow of a team, but i kinda appreciate that. They're a hobbled together, rag-tag group. A goup like that having issues is more realistic than them just clicking into a well-oiled machine. Especially when they all have their own goals, separate from the reason they grouped up.

My three main predictions for the final are,Number 1: I do think Ryan finds out how he was made and what homelander did to his mother and that will set up a amazing rivalry number 2: I do also think butcher becomes evil in some sort of way I think him passing out last episode was kind of a hint of Kessler fully taking over him and number 3: I do think the assassination attempt does happen in the finale and I do see homelander becoming vice president next to Victoria ending of the finale on a crazy cliffhanger.
A-Train has a new heart, so I don't see him dying because of health reasons. I can see A-Train out of the next episode and somewhere in the 5th season, where he will die trying to take out Homelander with The Boys. I don't see A-Train dying in the last season I don't see happening so soon. I could be wrong though, but I don't think his death will be hella soon.
They took two years to do 8 episodes. Last time I remember this being allowed was game of thrones and looks how well that ended. The woke issue isn't that it's done, it's that it's done badly. The writer is trying to shoehorn Homelander as Trump which was being done well in season 3 but is excited terribly in season 4. Much like Denarius going mad in GOT being done in the last two episodes of GOT you have the same issue playing out here. The writers are doing a bad job and/or the editors are. It doesn't help you have a writer saying I'm doing my politics and if you don't like it go somewhere else. It's your doing a bad job. Case and point is the convention everything there is in the alternative media in the real world they are parodying but they are not parodying anything they are just slapping in the audience face at once 'see crazy people ', firecracker is the shows Alex Jones, but in the episode they introduce her you have a real promo for Alex Jones going on in the background. There's no attempt to show why they believe what they do, from their perspective. It's the same issue with the Starlight side, it's just not as obvious because they aren't as prominent in the show this season. GoT worked with it's politics when it took it's time and built up to characters messing up. It fell off the rails when it tried to rush everything and this is what's happening with The Boys. What the hell is going on with starlight why does she look like an addict now? Why can't she pull herself together... Development is in short supply. I can go on but it boils down to the show just going through the motions to get to the 'action' the story is taking a back seat. It's still good to watch but it's not a thinking show at all, the concepts are not explored, the characters are linear....
I think they have worked on A-train too much and he is too connected with Hughie and Annie to die before the final season… season 5 I can see him going out and becoming a hero in his brothers eyes with them showing a clip of him telling his kids that their uncle was a hero. As for Neuman, they haven’t even elected the president yet so she literally cannot die until that happens… That completely ruins their plans to invoke the amendment and remove the president to have a sup become president.. the only way that works is if she is alive to take control and name a new VP (homie will make her pick him to be her VP).. I just don’t see enough time left in 1 episode to kill her.
