    Hi guys, John here with RealTruck.com. Today, I want to show you how to install the BedRug Molded Carpet Truck Bed Liners on to this 2014 Chevy Silverado.
    Hey guys, as you can see here, this comes complete with everything you need to put this into your truck. You have your bed mat, your sides, and your tailgate mats. And it also comes with everything you need to install it. It comes with all of the fasteners and everything to get this into the back of the truck nice and neat. One of the great things about it is that with the fasteners that come with it and the design of this mat, it actually has a custom molded fit to your truck bed. So that's really awesome. And because of the way this thing is made, the material that it's made out of, it's really easy on the knees if you have to crawl in and out of the back of the truck for something. It's nice and soft, or if you're out fishing, got the truck parked by the water, if you feel like you need to take a nap or something, this is kind of almost like laying on your couch. It's so soft and comfortable.
    So let's get started by getting this into the truck. We've got our bed liner all out of the box, laid out here on the floor. One of the important things to take note of is that you need to lay this thing down upside down. And what we're going to do is we're going to begin by starting to zip it together because that's how you attach the sides to the bottom part of the bed liner, is that just simply zips together. So I'm going to show you how to do that. And before we even get started, one thing to keep in mind is that be as this is brand new. When you first zip it together, it's going to be a little snug, that's okay, and you may have to work on the corners a little bit to get it to zip together on the corners, just simply because it is all new and it's been rolled up in that box for a while.
    All right guys, that's how quick and easy it is to zip this together. And you're probably looking AT it right now going, "But John, it's upside down." That's okay because that's the way we do it in order to get the zipper all lined up and zipped together. Now, what we're going to do is we're going to lift it up and we're going to flip it all back the way it's supposed to go before we put it in the truck. Now, if you guys can see here, once you get it flipped over and turned the way it's going to go into the truck, you guys can see how well the sides match up with the bottom of this so that you have a nice, solid, good-looking piece to put into the truck. 866-554-0581 Free shipping for orders over $100!

    So glad I found you guys online! I just bought my first truck, a 2017 Silverado, and have already bought several accessories off your website. I plan to make a few more purchases in the near future!

      Great! What all have you added to your truck?

      A Tonneau cover, running boards, and a Bedrug. So far the Tonneau cover is the only thing I've put on. I'm waiting for some nicer weather here in the Northeast to install the other 2!

    The adhesion promoter is only necessary for spray-on liner surfaces.

    do i need to pock holes into the bedrug to help it drain from snow and rain?

    • @Realtruck

      Great question Joe! We recommend you purchase a tonneau cover with your Bedrug. The Bedrug will dry out so there is no need to drill any holes. Thank you!

    I can see that you have many products, but I'm looking for something prevent my equipment to shifting and sliding on the truck bed is it the best product or the rubber bed mat ?

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  9 лет назад

      Mohammed Alkhajeh The best for keeping your stuff in place is the rubber mat you can find that here:
      www.realtruck.com/black-armour-truck-bed-mat/
      I would also maybe add in some type of cargo management system which can be found here:
      www.realtruck.com/php/search.php?search_terms=cargo+management
      The carpet is designed to protect your truck bed and it allows you to easily slide items in and out.

    Does the material over the tailgate and box seam, bind or make it difficult to open the tailgate? Do you cut holes in, if I want the gm accessory tiedown installed to the sides of the box? Can you still see the light from the interior truck box lights? Thanks

      @Realtruck  7 лет назад

      F U MOTORSPORTS the material in between the bottom of the bed and tailgate make it a bit snug but not horrible. The answer to the rest of your questions is yes. If you have any other questions about this or any of the other 500000 plus accessories we sell and would like to speak to a person directly feel free to contact our knowledgeable Customer Service folks at 877-216-5446

    What is the best way to wash the carpet? I've had mine for almost a year but I've noticed it's starting to get a little stained and smell a bit. Any recommendations?

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  6 лет назад +1

      BedRug recommends you spray them off with a power washer for the best clean! If there is a mild smell, you can mix a few drops of mild soap like Dawn in a spray bottle with water, spray the cover and then power wash it to get the soap out. Just be sure to go SUPER light on the soap so you have an easier time washing it out.

    will it work with a truck with a spray in bed liner just wondering if the tabs will stick to the spray on bed liner

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  8 лет назад +2

      +shannon hartley it will. We have a new project truck that we are working on now (stay tuned for details) and it has this with a spray on. You just have to make sure you clean the area really well with isopropyl alcohol before attaching the strips to it.

      Here's another video on another application, it's a very similar install and shows additional velcro on the cab end.

    How do you reinstall the tie down hooks?

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  8 лет назад

      +Nathan Wellendorf you don't actually remove them. Check out this vid it shows the tie down loops towards the end. You actually just make a slice in the liner and push it down around them.

      Some of the trucks have removable upper cargo hooks. What about those? I have the access cover on order but still undecided on the bedrug. I have upper to hooks and cargo lights which I assume would need cut out.

    Not too nice when you have to haul mulch.

    I hit dislike because you did not show us how to get the zipper all the way zipped up! the end loops around to prevent the zipper from opening and gives the zipper a pocket to protect the paint on the bed from the zipper pull. the way you installed it is not the way the factory intended. if your going to make a how to video do it 100% right addressing the hard part of the install.

      Why would you not just go with a spray in bed liner like Line-X. There is ZERO maintenance.
