One of the best episodes of the Andy Griffith show ever, I loved the part where the steering column was coming up and Thelma Lou went Bbbbbbbbarney!!!!!
Google this dear actress!! She is Hallene Hill, born in 1876. Died in 1966. I knew she'd be HOT as a young starlet!! The older actors on these better series came from silent movies, early talkies and vaudeville. (Emmett, who owns the fixit shop, was a dancer with his wife on Broadway. He won the first Tony for Best Actor (1947)...She won first Tony for Best Actress (1948)!!! This meek little Mrs.Temple was a heartthrob for WWI soldiers, I'll bet. I saw how she was photographed as a young starlet. (Some insist they have a "best side?") Well, she manages to show that left side in her scene in Mayberry!! What a cutie!💋

“I can see through her like a lace curtain”. lol
This wasn't Barney's first car,he owned one in the first season.
Barney got burned once 🤣he was only being cautious 😂
The tag scenes are some of the best parts of the episodes and on tv they often get cut out.
This is the epilogue of that episode. The little old lady here was telling him the truth, unlike Hubcaps Lesch.
I always appreciated this episode!!😂

I may be wrong but... IS HER NAME Mrs. TADPOLE?! 😂😂😂 It really sounds like it!
I thought she said Temple.
@@rexoates4484 maybe. It’s more possible than tadpole!
@@DjManger equally possible but not equally plausible
Just take it over and let Gomer look at it
Barney got played for fool Mrs tadpole and her nephew
