Thank you for the helpful video. I was a very prominent nail tech in my area back in the mid 80’s thru and into about 2002. I am just doing my own nails now and with gel which is all very different for me as I was an acrylic girl. I still swear by those because the gel just is not durable enough for me at all! I can’t even get the nails the length I want because they wear so much. I’m using madam glam which is a good product too. Well I just wanted an old style battery operated “manicure pen “ as they used to be called for cleaning out the free edge underneath because my nails have very high sides and curl on one side on a couple and pinch together. I ended up with a melody Susie efile that is super small, and it is fantastic! The dry manicure is definitely new to me but I have a lot of cuticle growth so it is something I want to learn. I have so much I wish I could explain about my nail plate shape, I know you have seen them. I always believed there is only 7 nail plate/ bed shapes. I’m going to change from this gel to something else very soon as this is not working for my nail type and desired length. But my question now is how can we tell if the bit is touching the plate before it is too late and it’s been damaged? If it’s not burning, you can still file it too thin as any part of the plate and cause damage. My mother is from Berlin, Germany and I have some wonderful old manicure knives that I have used since the 80’s and on a very rare occasion I have cut right through my nail under the cuticle and never felt a thing! So I know it is possible to damage it with even the best bits if I don’t know how to tell I’m hitting the plate if I can’t feel it. Please help. I have not tried this dry manicure yet as I’m more comfortable with a regular. I now use cuticle oil 3+ xs a day and they are not so stuck to the plate as they used to be. Use that oil people!!!!! Thanks for your help. Denise
I cant wait til I can afford to take your online e file manicure course. I have so many questions!😅 Great information in this video like always. Thank you😘
She has a page on amazon.com with her favorite products and that bit is on her list .........but the bit has not been available for awhile, I’ve had it in my shopping bag on amazon for months and it hasn’t been available .... anyways here’s the link amazon.com/shop/nailcou
i love that you say “coming up” instead of “just keep watching.” like duh i clicked on the video im gonna keep watching… but keep coming feels like it’s a natural flow from introduction to body of the content
I have to save this video for future reference is such a proffesional. I wish you was teaching me. It so pretty by the way and is hair is lovely your so plight and nice person . Thank you for your well worth to watch videos that we can learn from I luv this types of learning videos RUclips should pay you more as this is educational proper advice
Inhet scared doing this I just push back and put cuticle cream . Do you mean I should only file the skin on the cuticle not the nail underneath just bit confused please can let me know as I'm learning thank you
Thank you! Can you please say what kind of efile machine you have? Also, when you talk about filing the flame bit so that it’s not so sharp, do you mean to file the very tip of it to make it more dull? Also, what rpm speed should you do with this sphere bit, and should it be in forward or reverse? Do you use something before the flame bit to push cuticles up? Like orange stick, cuticle pusher, or safety bit? Thank you!
Do nail bits for all brands of files? I just bought my first one. It was cheap because I can't afford a nice one. I'm not a professional. I'm not sure the bits are all that good and I may need to replace them. I'm wondering if I bought quality bits, would they fit my file?
I’m also getting into nails (as a hobby, I’m by no means a professional) and from what I know, there’s a relatively standard size for e-file bits (I believe 3/32” but I could be wrong), so most e-file bits have a stick that is 3/32” in diameter. Because of this, a lot of drills are made to fit that size drill bit. So I would say to check the packaging to make sure you are getting the right size bits! :)
Nailcou yipeeeee!! Maybe I am a psychic and I didn’t know it... my prediction now is that you will have another gorgeous set of nails to show us next :)
Just fyi - I checked that Russian website that you linked for the e-file bits and as long as you have Google Translate installed, you can easily switch it to English. The currency doesn't switch though - it's still in rubles.
Also!! Do you know if this manufacturer would still be able to ship to US right now? And, can you please advise what is this tornado bit for - you did not show it on this video but I always see it online. And do you have an online store where you sell Russian manicure products? I would be very interested in this :)
Would be great if they translate their page, I assume more people would order... I do not have google translator on IMac - so makes it hard for me to order there :-(
Anastasia, I am borderline what they call old school now! Aahhh! I’m 55 and was a professional nail tech for over 15 years, with a full standing clientele. I have a lot that I would like to tell you so that you have knowledge of my nail background when I post here and also I need a technician that I can trust to ask questions to. Since I’m so old!, lol, I don’t have a Facebook account and I have an Instagram but do not know how to use it yet because I haven’t had time to play around with it. I don’t have my phone attached to my hand. I’d there an email address that I could give you this background and “talk” with you? I understand if not. Unfortunately I also realize how society today has changed because of my age. Thank you.
Please suggest a good professional brand of diamond bits with international shipping. Website link will be highly appreciated. Need to be shipped to India. Thanks.
Google translate the site, I found it wouldn't take me to basket in English so I google translated the buttons in the basket from there 🤣 The first menu link is products, the second item on the drop down is diamond bits, then there are pictures. It seems very affordable for product, but when you go to checkout the shipping quote is not available. You can type your city/country in English in country box (it translates it to Russian!), but then for me it said I would be contacted by manager with quote after order. I haven't tried getting any further.
This is the product site for another Russian online educator. I haven't purchased anything from her yet but plan to shortly. I completely trust her info and products. 😊💅🏾 The shipping is pricey but as someone mentioned earlier, you get what you pay for. 🤷🏽♀️👌🏼 russian-manicure.com
The site you linked is so cheap. I would like to order but I don't know how much the shipping is. When I'm looking on aliexpress the price can sometimes even be 80$, so there is no point if this site is also that expensive. Does anyone from Bosnia & Herzegovina have experience with this company, or at least someone from the Balkans?
I know you say not to touch the nail bed but I swear it looks like you are. I know it’s impossible and probably dangerous if you had a super zoomed in and at slow speed so can see better. I know having a camera blocking your viewpoint is dangerous for the client. I might have to watch this in slow mode but I think it’s still too fast. Thank you for everything!
This is where I hate nail techs when they try to explain science. Low RPM = high frictional force where the hell did u get this formula. The actual formula F = μN.
Wdym? She's a proffessional using the e file and knows exactly what happens while using it slower or faster. When it's going too slow it'll have less power so you'll press it more, hense it will heat up more.
Your cuticle videos are my crack!! So satisfying. Hahaha.
Haha, thanks!
Very informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us Anastasia ❤️❤️❤️
What a wonderfully informative and professional video! Thank you so much!
I love watching your channel Anastasia!
Excellent video and tutorial on the flame bit. TYFS. I agree about bits, you get what you pay for most of the time.

Hi, what brush is shown for brushing debris off the nail?
Thank you so useful
So intéresseront, thx for this vidéo more instructif for beginner like me, plz vidéo about cleaning gel brush .
You can clean it with alcohol
@@emilybozich5089 thx more
Not sure if you realized it but, in the description of the video you put “dill” bit instead of “drill” bit.
Oops, thanks!
Your welcome ☺️💋
i love your videoes!! what size bit do you use for cuticles? and what size for filing old product? plus do you have a link to your e-file?
What do you think is the best choice is for very thin damaged nails? To protect them? With minimal maintenance?
If they are thin AND damage I would recommend to wait at least 2-3 month until the nail bed fully outgrows and renews; and then overlay

@@jessfauder559 thank you!
Great video! How close do you put the acrylic to the cuticle?
Ideally as close as possible, but for beginners about 1 mm margin is ok
You looks amazing. Do they also sell e-file?Thanks 🥰💅
Yes, they do!
Hi Anastasia, qq... when would you prefer to use a ceramic bit? What is the main difference/s between a ceramic bit and a carbide bit?
Claudia, how did you know the exact name of the video I already recorded and planned for the upcoming month
So.. it's coming soon 😄😘

But once you get to the payment page it doesn’t translate what info to put where. I got lost at that point.
@@Annabooluv I didn't go that far.
What dust collector do you recommend for someone that is starting on this industry?
Unfortunately, I haven't tried that many dust collectors, I know that Valentino is a good one

U-tools in Canada is the best ones and the name of this drill bit is flame or Russian flame.
Would be great if they translate their page, I assume more people would order... I do not have google translator on IMac - so makes it hard for me to order there :-(

was the cuticle work in normal/real time?
Yes, at the beginning
Girl it's like 50 bucks per bit in my country how can I use it 15 times-😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I just tried to order and it doesn’t translate the payment page in English 😭 can’t figure it out! And the rub to usd is super worth it. Helpppp

I believe the shipping is a bit pricey overseas but since the prices are cheap for the products it might still be a good deal
