    Wonder if the passenger who alerted the police is a human trafficker?

      Never thought of that. Maybe the person who reported this guy knew the airline and cops would be to busy questioning him to notice them just walking by with the actual trafficking victim. Would be a good diversion.

    Ok, to get on a flight, you need 2 items;
    #1 is a ticket with your name on it
    #2 is photo identification with your name that matches the boarding pass
    The whole issue could've been dealt with in a few minutes just by the airline double-checking the itinerary and passenger manifest without a disruption to anyone

    Maybe the human traffickers are calling in anonymously to deflect from themselves. This has happened a couple times, it's making me wonder if this happening. Call in on another person with kids on flight, so they can slide thru while innocent family is being hasseled. Something to look into for sure. A sort of distraction. Kinda like drug traffickers that send a smaller amount of drugs thru to get busted; obviously, while a more massive amount gets thru undetected. These people are resourceful they deal in humans.

    I have a very common name. I wish I had a nickel for the times I have been questioned about things of which I have no knowledge. Evidently, some one with the same name is a criminal. Like, DUI and robbery!
    Here's the thing. Instead of harassing me with accusations, why don't they simply fingerprint me and compare? They won't! Instead, they levy all forms of accusations against me and I have to defend myself!

      @@noel8313 we can agree to disagree. We’ve all committed crimes. Most of us it’s something simple like getting home and remembering you didn’t pay for the soda underneath the shopping cart. If any police officer is found to have committed any crime on or off duty then they should be held accountable. In my line of work I’m held accountable even when I’m not working. There is a responsibility that goes along with treating the public. I don’t mind increasing transparency with law enforcement. I do think at times there are going to be exceptions made with police. Like an officer who’s speeding with lights/siren on. Looks like a crime but I found out it may have to do with them gathering evidence on their dash cam of a reckless or impaired driver. If we are talking about putting a knee on the neck for multiple minutes and someone dies then off to prison with that officer! I just think many are jaded, overworked and disrespected by the people who they thought they were helping. Idk why we can’t take better care of officers and expect them to be transparent. "We all have to be aware of human trafficking" What is the actual statistic that shows the majority of children being trafficked are a different race than the trafficker? I'm willing to bet that the vast majority are same race. Also the majority of cases are international, not within borders. Which means, papers are needed. I'd also bet that 99% of trafficking is children being smuggled across the border. They use to separate the adults from children crossing the border illegally to do DNA testing and to retrieve paperwork from their nation of origin. But when it went from Obama doing it to Trump doing it, the same program got advertised as "kids in cages." Now they can just go on an phone app, meet at specific locations and be escorted across by the border guard and put on a bus or plane to a location of their choosing.
