  • part twenty of 'the leaf' a ratty roadster
I want to build a 1930's super reliable daily driver, I have a 1936 Austin 12 rolling frame , a 1927 to 1933 Lea Francis roadster dicky body and radiator and for power a 1800 cc Isuzu petrol engine with a 5 speed gearbox..hopefully this will be a very straight forward build and with luck shouldn't take too long, I will be documenting what this costs as we go along but needless to say I will be using INGENUITY OVER BUCKS....
this weeks objective is to MOT the leaf and all the trails and tribulations i meet along the way.( unfortunatly i had to cut the actual mot footage after due to permissions) ..I also strip the Crosley engine I have with Uncle Chris from the bracket factory
    Chris's channel ... / @thebracketfactory
music this week some old 'doghouse boat boys tunes and my pal Nigel pops in and lays some blues
    harley shop.... / attitudecycles
if you did indeed enjoy the video
I'd really appreciate it if you give it a like and comment, and to keep updated please hit the old subscribe button ....
please be sure to check out my other content....thanks Bryan
massive thanks to everyone who donated or brought a t shirt last time ...im truly humbled......
get yourself a snazzy oak swamp T shirt here oakswamprags.b...
i've set up a tip jar so if you wanna help buy me some grinding disc or something, it would be much appreciated and will help me keep the channel going. you will find the 'tip jar ' icon on my home page above
thanks if you take part in that... and thanks all who already did....

I had a similar problem with a weber carb running rich on my Model A Ford. Turns out I needed two fuel pressure regulators to lower the high pressure given by a modern electric fuel pump. Can be checked with a fuel pressure gauge ( this might have been why the Indian carb kept overflowing ). Keep up the good work - best car show on RUclips.

This has piqued my interest in a motor I knew nothing about. I read that the Crosley monobloc rights were sold on in 1952 and the basic design built and developed up to 1972 (mainly as a boat engine) and even ended up as a twin cam supercharged race motor, big hint for the Wragg? At 26 bhp it was much more potent than the A7 out of the box. The Crosley cars it powered were singularly ugly but briefly sold well.
