CO2 is sold by *weight*, not gallons, what you have there is a 5 pound tank. CO2 usually comes in 5, 10, 20, and 50 pound bottles, before you get to the big ones.

Does yours blow a bunch of air out of the back right after it gets the after? Before it actually fizzes and starts dispensing the carbonated drink? If you put your hand back there do you feel it?

Each time you replace the co2 it's $20 each time you replace, the tanks included only gives you about 80 fizzy drinks. The adapter allows you to upgrade to a bigger co2 tank, I get about 6 months drinking several drinks a day on a 5 lb tank
