If your planning on keeping the thirsti you can use simpli soda to exchange empty co2 cylinders for $13.99 per cylinder or $12.99 if you use the app. If you want that price you have to exchange your empty bottles. After $1.99 shipping it makes it $27.99 for TWO co2 bottles. You reuse the box to ship yours back and they pay for shipping and even include the return label. It’s the best deal I’ve seen so far.
I’m looking at this from a water quality standpoint as I have a water purifier. So, even if it’s not cheaper than the carbonated waters I normally buy, the water will be healthier. Thank you for this great review!
Then there is also the inconvenience of having to go to the store and carry the heavy cases of water and all the empty cans. I don’t have mine yet. I did get a 10% off coupon from them today, I had had the bundle in my cart for a while. The one with the three C2O cans. So I ordered mine. They have a subscription for the drops now that makes them 25% off. I like my fizzy drinks, I think the convenience factor counts also. And the storage of the canned products. Polished video!
@@JulianicholasdupreyI was wondering the same thing. I have a Drinkmate and love it. I would not mind ordering some if the flavors from ninja but not sure if it can be squeezed with a Drinkmate or soda stream.
Hi! Yes it does. If you do not select the flavor level (no lights on the flavor level), it will be plain seltzer but the bubbles will be smaller than on a typical sodastream.
Soda stream syrup isn’t as concentrated so it’ll taste weaker with the ninja…if you want just make carbonated water with ninja and then mix soda stream syrup into cup manually
Hi! I wouldn't get both if you already have a sodastream because of the high initial cost. You can get very good at making delicious homemade sodas and seltzer bubble sparkling drinks. The Ninja bubbles are more uniform and small than any soda I had from a sodastream (I have 3) but sodastream has way more flavor options at about the same price as the Ninja water drops. BUT if you are the type that has a $500 espresso machine and a $100 burr coffee grinder, I would recommend the Thristi over the sodastream because of the bubble size.
You won’t. They will rip you off when it comes to the proprietary co2 tanks you need to use. Same dirty tactics inkjet printers used when they’d sell you the printer cheap and the refill ink at illegal prices

Where did you hear that it boils the water?
You can use all Soda Stream flavors as well. Simply make sparkling water and add your flavor of choice.

This is a genius video
So glad I found this video. Three minutes prior to it I was trying to do the math in my head 🤣🤣❤️
Thanks for watching! Making sparkling water and seltzer is great but for many people, it won't really save you money.
Disadvantage is that you cannot re-carbonate drink with the Ninja. You can with the other makers
This is true.
Thanks for the info i may be a year late lol i just ordered a ninja thirsti for $145 it comes with a cup as well
Is it possible that the sodastream CO2 canister work with the Thirsti?
I have to try it. The only thing I can see different would be the screw top
No it’s proprietary. They want to lock you in
Was that you on Amazon the other day?
Hi! Yes I've been streaming on my own channel on Amazon Live for 4.5 years now. Come stop by and say hi!
Can you use the flavor drops with a SodaStream?
Yes you can add the drops just like the Sodastream but only after the THIRSTI makes the soda
@@TheFrenchGlow no I mean can you use the thirsti flavor drops with a SodaStream? Pop the lid off and just drop the flavor into SodaStream water.
@@JulianicholasdupreyI don't see why not

You should have called this video "Can I afford a Fountain Soda Machine in my house?"
Can you make plain seltzer if you don’t have the flavor pods

what if I use the soda stream syrup in the ninja bottle
This could work but would be a hassle to inject the syrup inside it

@TheFrenchGlow Thanks for the detailed response. I'll hold off on this until my soda stream breaks. You make some great review videos, btw!
