    I am learning real quick, "Do not use powder based flavors in your carbonated drinks!" Unless you prefer to watch most of the carbs be removed.
    I did it with Crystal Light and even Amino Energy and boy it just fizzed up like crazy and after everything settled down the fizz was no more!

    thank you for showing that it doesnt need flavors. I just want frizzy water with squeeze of lime and dash of splenda but buying cases of topo chico got annoying. Will go with the ninja. !!

    I agree the Soda Stream syrup are bad but what worse is the after taste. Let hope Soda Stream will do better now. Thank for your review , you hit all the points.

      So far the after taste hasn’t been found in the ninja flavors. I tried adding the Pepsi Sodastream syrup yesterday and had to throw it out. The flavor was that bad.

    Do you know if you can clean the tank inside the Ninja Thirsty where it does the pressurization for your drinks? Just wondered if you could get inside to clean it properly overtime from lime buildup.

    You could manually add Celcius energy packet into a soda water. Wonder how good that would be?

    so the Sodastream co2 bottles work

    Hello, did you do a beverage test with the Sodastream CO2 or just a fitment test?

    • @daviddickenson5845
      @daviddickenson5845  11 месяцев назад +1

      Great question! After some research, I found that the company that manufactures Thirsti CO2 bottles use the same top that the blue Sodastream bottles use. Soda Sense made the Sensi as a rival for Sodastream. The CO2 bottles are interchangeable. My Sodastream CO2 was about 1/4 full when the Thirsti arrived. So not wanting to waste the new CO2, I tried it out. It worked flawlessly. It’s empty now and I’m about to try to refill that canister. I may post that to help anyone thinking about it. Thanks for your question!

      @@daviddickenson5845 That helps, thank you. It means a quick trip to Walmart as opposed to waiting for it to come in the mail.

    Do you think there would be a way to refill the flavor containers with sodastream or other flavors?

    • @daviddickenson5845
      @daviddickenson5845  11 месяцев назад +1

      I would imagine you could. The issue is that Sodastram flavors are not concentrated and the Thirsti flavors with sweetener are similar to Mio style drinks. As for the essence drops, those could work but that would take some testing. It’s so new I don’t even know how the top of the bottle comes off and you don’t risk it with those types of drink sweeteners. I’ll likely post another video as I’m learning more each time I use the Thirsti.

      It would be easier to dispense unflavored water and mix in the flavors the way you do with sodastream

    I tried the splash flavors carbonated and still at level 2 and its like drinking plain water no flavor but the lemonade has alot of flavor not sure why this would be do you?Thankyou!

      So here is what I have found. We were talking about doing a second video. Basically the colder the water, the better the odds your tongue will be able to taste and the more fizzy the better your nose will add to that taste. When you dispense the first drink after a long while the temp difference from what you put in to what comes out is pretty different! I suggest filling the water container with ice and then ICE COLD water. Then dispense 18oz of still plain water. Pour that back in the container or pour it out. Now try the flavor again level 2 and carbonation where you like it. You should notice a difference. FYI some flavors are naturally stronger…lemon vs strawberry. Strawberry is always very vague no matter what you use. The reason you taste the lemonade has to do with the sweetener.

    I miss soda stream, I think they went out of business, but I don't know for sure that people can still get the syrups. Does this also have soda flavors?

    Combos must be 12 ounces at the minimum. 6 Ounce drinks can't be combo👍

    • @daviddickenson5845
      @daviddickenson5845  11 месяцев назад

      Yeah it’s a device limitation. It looks like the programmed the device to carbonate no more than 6oz at a time. So no matter what you dispense, combos or larger than 6oz it does it incrementally. It’s a very cool machine.

    Another useless piece of overpriced Chinese made plastic junk. $180 just for the machine? When you price it all out for 1 years use you are spending way much more than if you just drank water or something in a can. Then a bunch of chemically filled concentrates. Hey landfills... Make room....
