Thank you for the follow-up! For that SodaStream bottle of Starry one serving needs 18ml of syrup per 12 ounces. The Ninja Thirsty pods (Mio is similar) uses 3-4ish ml per 12 ounces. So you may get a faint hint from the SodaStream syrup, but I wouldn't recommend using it to fill a Ninja pod with. Just make 12oz of plain carbonated water and pour the SodaStream syrup into the carbonated water like you would do with the regular SodaStream. Also, the Ninja reads the color of the lids on the pods. Some like the Splash are white and others blue. If you use Mio drops or a like alternative you will probably want them in a blue topped pod.
So you're saying the blue covers dispense slightly more flavor? Might be worth trying to fill 2 blue ninja containers, then set both to max flavors and see how the soda stream flavors taste then. 🤷♂️
@danielwilliams1612 if you're referring to the just a dad video. He used one blue cintainer and one white. I can't imagine it would make that big of a difference. Was just pointing this out. I will try when I get home, but I won't be home for 2 weeks.

Yes! I figured this out in later videos! Some things work in the pods (mio, crystal light) while others like Sodastream don't so you just have to add it directly to plain carbonated water. Thanks so much for watching!
I know ninja want you to buy the there flavor cartridges but I believe it would be a good idea if they came out with reusable cartridges so you can put your own flavors in them.

One cool hack that I have done with my sodastream is hooking it up to a 10lb CO2 cylinder. It costs only 1/10th. If the connections are identical, the hack should work on Thirsti as well!
Thank you for the hacks. I don’t add the flavors to the empty Thirsti containers, but I add them to just carbonated water. So, I run it with just carbonated water and then add the flavors after. My favorite is to run the lemonade flavor and add Torani syrups to make flavored lemonades.

They do have strange hours, but if all I need is to stop by real quick and give them $5-6 and I get enough pellets to refill the 4 canisters I've collected (I found some empty ones being sold $10 each). Using gloves or tongs, I drop the pellets one by one into the canister until the weight is correct, then seal it up. You can look up "the dry ice method" for more specifics but I fill 4 canisters for $5-6 bucks this way and no need to crush the dry ice.

so much trouble, why not just buy a soda stream... lol
I actually bought this to replace my Sodastream, and I love it! I love being able to make one drink at a time versus a liter at a time. I've been refilling the pods with Crystal Light, Mio, and more and it works really well! The Sodastream flavors work best if you make plain seltzer water and then just pour the Sodastream syrup into your cup directly. Thanks for your comment and for watching!
Yes it is nasty
Lol the Stur! Yes it's gross...not buying it again 🤢 Thanks so much for watching 🙂
