    I’m thinking if you have any hand issues the breeze would be harder to use. To get a hold on the jar may be very hard where the creami you don’t have to actually claw the container. Just a thought.excellent video❣️

      I agree!! As someone with some joint pain I opted for the one with the bowl and handle. Seems a lot easier to handle for myself.

    Having no luck finding the 300/301 on sale I got the 500/501 which I got for about $160. At $5-7 per pint of Halo Top & Nicks I think that it was a good investment.

    Great video! Even if the insides were different, I don't see the point of having the big on. They are all only a pint and the big one's only real distinction is the drink feature. I can make most of those in a blender, which can make more than a pint.

      That is a bummer. I believe it with get to Europe next year. (no confirmation from Ninja) My prediction is Ninja will replace the current 301 with the breeze everywhere because the new design also helps Ninja profits since no need for the locking bowl. That part alone means smaller packaging and lower production costs.

    Nice video. Very well controlled. Not overly excited. Allowed us to make our own choice although you had your preference without forcefully leading us in any one direction. I know ultimately you were pushing the breeze, but if you already purchased one, buying another is redundant unless you have a large family. One thing I wanted to question is the greasiness of the final ice cream product due the cream cheese. Can you make ice cream without the cream cheese and still enjoy the same mouthfeel as let’s say, a Breyers or a Friendly’s for example?

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  Год назад +2

      Hi! Thank you for watching and feedback. Definitely, the breeze is a better package but the results are basically the same with the original creami. To make extra creamy ice cream and after a lot of my personal testing, I recommend trying a mix with the right balance of fats like the vanilla recipe shown that followed the traditional recipe or adding something like xanthum gum and letting your ice cream rest for a few minutes before putting it in the creami. I have tried so many different healthy and keto recipes that taste great but definitely not as creamy as supermarket ice cream. Creaminess is related to the size of ice crystals so Commercial brands usually use preservatives or have a high fat content to keep them creamier and more consistent. Gelato on the creami is much easier to make consistently creamy.

    I just made my first batch with the creami breeze. It was great! But I noticed in the manual that it states not to do a respin before running a mix in. I’m not understanding why? With the first program it came out powdery, so I added a tablespoon of heavy cream, ran a respin and it came out perfectly creamy, then I followed instructions on adding mix ins. Made a space in the middle, added chocolate chips and then did a mix in program. But again, the manual said not to do that. Do you happen to know the answer to that? Thanks in advance.

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  Год назад +1

      Hi! Thanks for the question. The manual is " If not adding mix-ins, RE-SPIN can be used on a crumbly or powdery pint to make it more creamy. RE-SPIN is often needed for very cold bases. If the treat is smooth and scoopable, go to step 12. If the base is crumbly or powdery, repeat steps 6-10 to process again using the RE-SPIN program. NOTE: Do not RE-SPIN before using the MIX-IN program. ".....in my opinion, I do the same as you for any crumbly mixes but for a lot of mixes, if you just re-spin with mix in in and no additional fats, it will chop up/paddle all the mix ins beyond what mix-in mode does and possibly over churn. I am not sure if these instructions apply to all mixes but I do not see any mechanical reason for it.

    My ninja creamie deluxe broke for the 2nd time

  • @HappyBeeTV-BeeHappy
    @HappyBeeTV-BeeHappy Год назад

    The creami deluxe is next to impossible to get the cup to go up. Sometimes it feels like I'm going to break it. Which is probably why you skipped showing working the deluxe cup. And sometimes it goes up easily. SMH. The original one is much easier to work the cup. And that new one looks weird, but it does seem to eliminate struggling to work the cup, so I can see why they made it. They definitely know there's a big problem with the deluxe cup being a struggle to work with. A much bigger struggle than the original.
    But I don't know if I can trust this new model bcuz they made the deluxe look easier in the demos and when I got mine I was shocked at how harder it was to work. I'm keeping both models, bcuz the original is still working great. But I think I'll pass on this new model bcuz Ninja has some apologizing to do with that deluxe model. For making us believe it was easier and then turned out to be thrice as hard as the original. These machines are too expensive to be gambling on.

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  Год назад +2

      It can definitely get locked up especially if you are turning the bowl on a angle or if the device is not completely flat on the table. Sorry to hear the bowl is an issue. I do recommend reaching out to ninja to see how they could help. I had an issue for a ninja product before and they offered me a partial refund but I got to keep the product.

      I agree. I ordered the original because I feel like the breeze just looks weird. Good to know the deluxe locks up.. I did not know that.

    • @HappyBeeTV-BeeHappy
      @HappyBeeTV-BeeHappy Год назад +2

      @@macymiller3417 You're gonna love the original bcuz you can't go wrong with it. And I want to share that since I wrote what I did about the deluxe, I found that it gets easier with repeated use, as I have been using it a lot over the past week. The more you use the deluxe the cup becomes friendly.
      That I guess that the machine has to be broken in like new shoes or something. 😄 So, it's not a bad machine after all once you use it often.

    This machine is the pits, too much theatrics. When we want ice cream we want it now not the next day. Bought a compressed unit off of QVC for $70.00, you just pour in the ingredients and turn it on and it makes fresh ice cream nice and creamy in less than a 1/2 hour. No having to put things in the freezer overnight.

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  Год назад +22

      Hi thanks for watching! A compressed unit is great for ice cream but in my opinion, most people get the creami for protein or healthier (not necessarily healthy) frozen treat options. For example,you
      can get some chocolate fairlife protein shakes and pour it in, freeze, add some mix ins and you have 25g of protein, low sugar ice cream. The combinations and mixins for families means saving a lot of time. I sometimes just add 3 or 4 bananas and just add mixins after a few hours for a frozen banana treat. I have even met people who add in supermarket brand and just use the creami for the mixins.

      I think it's about preference, because I prefer the creamy, I used my other traditional ice cream maker once. You always have to make sure that bowl is frozen, I live in a small apartment with a small refrigerator. That bowl takes up a lot of room. I can stack six creamy containers in less space. I also have six cups, make mine in big batches. I don't ever wait.

    • @macymiller3417
      @macymiller3417 Год назад +1

      @@jazziered142 Glad to hear you love your creami in a small apartment. We have a small freezer and I like the fact I’ll be able to stack the cups. We live in a 2 bedroom which I love it but it does lack the freezer room so I hesitated for months on this device… I finally succumbed and said OH WELL, we will just have to make the room.
