Do you have a Ninja Creami? If so, how well has it held up for you? If you liked this video, you might like this video about ice cream getting inside your Ninja Creami: ruclips.net/video/Cbc4sUrBCGM/видео.html
I’ve had mine for about a month now and I’m having ice cream daily! I’m actually spinning a pint right as you uploaded this! Chocolate hazelnut protein ice cream! 🍦
Hello Joe. Mine's been with me for about a year and I use it at least 4 or 5 times per week. No doubt here, the Deluxe is the best model and sometimes can be bought for less than the Breeze or the original one at Costco or HSN.
I am still using my original Creami and make about 6pints per week. I love my slushies! Someday I will upgrade, but it will take something super amazing to get me to change what already works so well for me. I love teardown videos and always wondered about the shaft getting goo inside. I have inspected mine 3 times over the life of it and it just recently passed the check again.
I wonder how much of the shaft complaints are from people actually checking or just listening to something that they heard and assumed there was a wide spread problem.
I'm late to the Creami train. I appreciate this video. I am going to use it for the first time tonight and you are going to save me from making some huge mistakes
@@JoesPhenomenalI am even later. 😂 I have the older Model, still your video helped me a lot it was most informative. There are a lot of bad videos out there sorry to say. I am using mine for a week now. It is just perfect. 😊 I hand wash everything IMEDIATELY after use. Everything is perfectly clean. At the beginning I was kinda sad because I don't even own a dish washer and I knew right from the beginning I will have lots of dishes. 😂😂😂 Thanks for your video. Greetings from Germany 😊 PS: Now I will prepare my rasberry ice cream. 😊
I just bought the Ninja Creami Deluxe and I will use all’s of your recommendations for keeping the parts clean and just like new. Thanks for the great advice!
Thank you very much for this review, I've just received my Ninja Creami Deluxe, and have learned how not to wash the parts, very informative, once again thank you.
That was fantastically helpful! Just picked up a Deluxe at Costco this weekend. I feel totally confident that with your help, we should get many years of enjoyment out of it. Looking forward to checking out some of your ice cream recipes! Thanks again!
Thanks this was very informative! If only people who buy these stuff check on RUclips reviewers like you wouldn't come up with problems.. for instance the suggestion of freezing on a flat surface ..now I understand people complaining about scratching the container..
Mostly, that's an educated guess. It's tough to verify exactly what people are doing when that happens, but a slope on the frozen mix could definitely do it.
the most common cause I observe for causing scratches on creami pints is that the ice cream forms into a ball inside the container while spinning, the ball then goes in circles around the shaft and pushes it to the side, scratching it, causing those huge scary vibrations where it seems like the machine is going to hop off the counter, etc the deluxe is less prone to this because everything is built a little bit more solidly, the container mounting mechanism is stronger, and there's more space on the outside between the blade and the container, so when it starts vibrating it's less likely to cause damage This whole thing is more likely to happen with a elastic/chewy, high stabilizer, high fat base.
Non-ninja creami ice cream is actually a treat now for me, I had some today and realized ever since I got the creami I've been eating healthier alternative ice cream vs the high fat and high sugar kind.
Hi jos Thank you very much for all the vidéo you make ❤ Every vidéo teach me something You are GREAT ❤ I bought ivation ice cream maker when i saw your vidéo and now i fixed my choice on deluxe creami ninja as well when i saw your évaluation i have no regret the choice i did Thanks ! You Wright with your opinion 😊 😇 Have a wonderful day 🎉
A video request: I bought a Creami few days ago. I can't understand the differents between the functions. I tried to make same recipe with few functions. the results looks same if you ask me. after all its just rotating blades that going down and up. Can you please freeze water or milk cups and blend them in creami? function by function(each cup for function) including mix in and respin. Use timer, sound meter, electric power meter can be a good indicator for the diffrents between the functions. I'm sure that there are many users with same misunderstanding so this video can get a lot of views. Please use the original Creami because there is no 220 volts deluxe version.
Could I fill 1/2 pint with one flavour, freeze it then add a different flavour on top, freeze that & blend just the top, eat it & then blend the bottom? To do 2 flavours in 1 go? I’m not sure if spinning a half full container could hurt the machine
I would suggest that Ninja should design these CREAMi devices with a way that the shaft area could be quickly disassembled so that the seal could be inspected for wear and possible replacement when necessary, as well for purposes sanitizing and deep cleaning the machine. In my opinion, all parts that could possibly come in contact with what is eaten or otherwise ingested should be accessible for purposes of deep cleaning for obvious reasons of hygiene.
That was a reliability update to it. It's mentioned and focused on in the original review and also a secondary review... and also the reviews for the other creami machines.... and come to think of it, just about all the Ninja small appliances. They're all pretty loud except for the Slushi. You're right though. That's pretty annoying. I didn't measure it at 100 dB though. I came out in the high 80's, but that's still pretty crazy loud.
i am unsure what to pick as the original ninja creami is really discounted rn (164 euros vs 231 euros normal price) and the deluxe is 256 euros.. the deluxe isnt worth it in that circumstance right? great video btw!
I cant believe something like this existed and i never knew... sheesh ima get it for sure. but how's cleaning this thing? id imagine its going be annoying as hell making all that ice cream.
Agreed. You can, but the dishwasher drying cycle can eventually turn plastics sort of a cloudy color. Had that issue with my older Ninja Foodi Processor container. Since then, I just leave them out to keep them as new looking as possible.
I never put mine in the dishwasher either, it takes seconds to wash, so I see no need. I own a gym, and we use a high end Vita-mix blender, which is always hand washed and after 6 years it's still perfect. I don't think plastic in the dishwasher is the best idea.
You want an honest opinion... Crap. Brakes very easily! Expensive to use and run. Have to blend all the time, and it doesn't mix correctly; you get ice chunks on the side. Owned one for a period of four weeks before it broke and shredded the metal blender blade, which led to metal shavings in the ice cream. Extremely dangerous, especially if feeding it to kids. More than happy to forward anyone who wants the pictures of this, as I can't upload them to this comment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Agreed!
Just got mine today from Costco, $150!
@AllenFern24 nice!

The tip about keeping the ice cream custard level during freezing is extremely helpful!
Cool! Glad you got some value!

Same.... I always drink coke zero and am used to it, but when I have a normal one now, it seems so different.
i've had my ninja blender 6-7 years now it's still going..hopefully the creami is as well built.
My blender is 8 yrs old. 😂Still going strong and hopefully will last a few more years.
@SukiKazama that was a great investment for you. You probably jinxed it now that you said that though! 😂
Hi jos

Great tips for cleaning, thank you!
Glad to help
This video was very helpful. Thank you! Especially the part about how to clean it. 🤗
Glad it was helpful!
Hopefully no mention of Monk Fruit in this one 😎
I'm loving my Creami, and your videos were the thing that finally made me decide to get one 🙏🏻
😉. Glad I could help ya decide! I wasn't really a fan at first, but it really grew on me.
8:05 Is the problem with the ice cream in the lid due to overfilling the cup? 🤔
That would definitely make that problem worse.

Great idea there. Will work that in!
Oh my gosh...just what is needed...!! Pls pls do the video....
What do you mean there is not a 220v deluxe version? I'm in NZ and have the 220v deluxe.
Or did you mean something else? 🤔
@@SukiKazama Not sure why this is appearing as if I made the comment you are referring to? Hope not as I am lost with your question...:)
@vitazgal9933 I replied to the original comment about not having a 220v version. 😅
JOE: your details are 100% thank you! (OCD here too)
"did i throw it out in the street?!" I spit out my drink laughing lol. Keep up the personality!

That would work fine. If it's going in a Deluxe, definitely.
After they freeze you can store them sideways if you need to fit more in
Good hack!
How low is your freezer temperature?
Mine is -21 do I get crumbled ice too?
I keep my freezer at -6 F

Yep!
What about the supee duper loud 100 decibels the thing produces? Why wont you mention that?

Thanks! For that price gap, I'd go with the original. They both get the job done just fine.
Hello, do you know if the Ninja Creami bleaches microplastics into the ice cream?
What about your toothbrush?
A big gripe I have is that it does not have the function to process only the bottom half of the pint.
Do you have the Deluxe? It should have 3 options on it.. Full, Top Half, and Bottom Half.
Amigo si no tiene la cuchilla la máquina se queda en instalar???
Is it still working? ;)
So far so good!
I cant believe something like this existed and i never knew... sheesh ima get it for sure. but how's cleaning this thing? id imagine its going be annoying as hell making all that ice cream.
Ima just make sure to clean it right away to avoid doing all that extra cleaning then hmmm
It's actually not too bad... I have a cleaning video for it on here.
Definitely...If you clean it right away it's really easy.
You’re supposed to be able to dishwash all the parts except the blade.
Agreed. You can, but the dishwasher drying cycle can eventually turn plastics sort of a cloudy color. Had that issue with my older Ninja Foodi Processor container. Since then, I just leave them out to keep them as new looking as possible.

Oxyclean might be a good way to clean it.
That's good stuff.
Just let soak and ice cream stick inside will dissolve my concern is rusting spring.
All these complaints sound user created not defects in machines
So long story short nice machine, but a lot of people are too dump to use it.
I had it since Christmas and haven't taken it out of the box. Don't have freezer room for containers so buying Fatboy ice cream on sale at bjs.
Meat & vegetables is more important than ice cream containers space this takes up
