    what about the Daddario case / bag? why nobody is talking about it? It is supposed to come with one along with the pedalboard.

    Why on earth would someone put the hook side of velcro on the bottom of the pedals? You won't be able to take them off the board and place them on a carpet or anywhere that could pick up lint.

    Would a Voodoo labs 4 x 4 go underneath the board?

    Can you sit the powersupply back further (towards the player actually) so that the leads don't poke out the back in tha ugly way?

  • @ericchin79
    @ericchin79 Год назад +3

    Why wouldn't you rotate that power supply 90 degrees so that you don't have all those cables hanging outside?

    I love it, for someone like me that is too lazy to make one for myself is a really good choice.

  • @chiefmachine24
    @chiefmachine24 2 года назад +4

    No, because they need certain sized power supply's to fit underneath. Even the XL version struggles to accommodate them. It also doesn't have brackets for mounting (underneath), which would make you place a larger P.S on top of the board..taking up space you'd use for more pedals.

      Cioks Eventide 8 fits under every board

      The undercarriage is pre-fitted with velcro. If your power supply is too thick, then you need to update your power supply with 2020+ technology.

      I have the larger model. Yeah the size of your power supply must fit under, check sizes, be careful. TBF, my Voodoo fits under. If there's anything thicker than Voodoo supplies, then it's their fault lol.

    The only thing that I see wrong is if you have it extended out, you’re gonna need another case to fit the length

    How do you secure your pedals to the board? You don't demonstrate. Velcro? My problem with velcro is, on a hot day, the adhesive melts and your pedals shift in transit. There has to be a better way.

    This is the first pedalboard I've seen that at least pretends to engineer a solution for innovation and convenience. I am new to this "hobby", and I am absolutely shocked at the prices of pedalboards. A couple slats of aluminum that require the customer to jerry-rig cluged solutions to problems, like freakin' Velcro for mounting equipment on it? I have built PC's for years, and the consumer community absolutely demanded continued innovation and improvement from PC Case manufactures. These PC cases are amazing now, providing innovative solutions to problems, in attractive packages and they literally cost less than these pedalboards that look like someone took a crosscut saw to a couple of pallets and glued some velcro on it. This industry niche needs a lot of improvement.

    So you mean everytime I want to use the expansion I have to add all my pedals again and waste my time? I could just get something that suits my needs in the first place and don't have to add the pedals every gig.. waste of time and money

    • @flyingrat492
      @flyingrat492 Год назад +1

      Where are they supposed to go? Into a pocket dimension as soon as you collapse the board? Maybe something that suits other peoples needs is a board that you can adjust depending on usage instead of either not having enough space or having an empty/ unnecessarily heavy pedal board

    • @FollowSteveJPN
      @FollowSteveJPN Год назад +1

      @Flying Rat even if that's the case, the price of this thing and the case for it is way more than you should be paying. You are better off getting two pedal boards, a smaller one and normal size so you don't have to redo cables, remove pedals and do that everytime. I am willing to bet its even more cost efficient then this full setup

    • @flyingrat492
      @flyingrat492 Год назад

      @@FollowSteveJPN the price is like £20 more than a pedal train mini, though I’ll admit the bag being the same price as the boards a bit excessive

  • @L.C.Sweeney

    The actual design is way too basic imo. I want a board with I/Ps and O/Ps on the sides for signal and power. And the large version isn't even long enough for my nit particularly large board of only 10 pedals. The board itself is super basic with no ability to hide or run cables very easily. Meh.
