Vince your cinematics and production get better every video, you seriously have me ready to sell my s2k track car and switch to supra now. Keep it up bro !!
@@VinceChristmastree Yo VC, question. I’ve been happily enjoying my 22 Supra with OTS Stg2 pump 93 on BM3 for about a year now. I’ve tried E30 blend but wasn’t impressed so I stick with 93. My speedshop offered to give me the E50 map which they forgot to initially install saying it would be relatively safe even without a sensor as ling as I get a precise 50/50. My question is this, is it worth it to get the Visconti kit and supporting mods to be able to run full E85? or any blend for that matter? Or would it just represent marginal returns? I am still on stock charge pipe and intake so clearly I would also get that done. I guess you can say I’m still chasing power gains without wanting to take the “plunge” like you… at least not yet
you think it’d be possible to meet up with some other owners and see the difference in the top mount kits? klm vs full race vs p2uned etc. not sure if the difference is worth the effort but it’s an idea
I could do that, but the main difference between them is just the positioning of the turbo, wastegates utilized (brand and size), diameter of the downpipe, and if there is a BOV/BPV on the chargepipe.
Yes, I still have the KLM 2 Port kit. It has the 6870 and it's the heat protection package one. $7200 shipped. If you're interested, DM me on IG: @vc.ou
No such thing as a dumb question. So majority of the kits are catless and all top mount kits have the downpipe included. KLM started offering an option for a catted downpipe, but you'll want to make sure it's a top mount specific downpipe because the stock location ones will not be compatible.
@@VinceChristmastree What are your thoughts on top mount Doc Race kit with Borg Warner? I don't seem to hear a lot about Borg compared to Precision or Garrett.
I've seen two Supras in the forums break their turbos in the forums, and the only thing they had in common was a catted downpipe. They only had BM3 OTS, so pushing the car with catted downpipes doesn't sound good to me @@chrisginoc
@@xxthehuskycaboosexx I want to got with ATS. Know a guy who got his stage 2 rebuild done. Seems worth it to run stock turbo and upgraded trans. I want reliable performance. Am considering a pure 850 or DAW Ultraflow turbo upgrade though. Those reliable turbos?
@@basicgunbros4332 I had a pure850, not a fan lmao. Within 1k miles, the seals went bad and started going through oil. Have heard nothing but good things about the ultra flow!

Thank you! Keep the S2K if you can, I miss mine! It would be awesome to pair up with a Supra 😄
@@VinceChristmastree That just might be the ultimate combo. Man you are NOT kidding. I am for sure trying to keep both. Thanks for re assuring me!
For sure!
Here I am 18 mos after getting my silver ‘22 Supra and sadly it’s still OEM. It still is very fulfilling to drive though.
Enjoy your car. There are people who can't even afford a MKV. Build it slow. It's costly.
Agree with Chris! Enjoy it because even in its stock form, it's still an awesome car.
@@clplusp8762 I wish I had one they’re such well built cars man. Excited to either get that or a mustang after I get rid of my z.

Banger videos back to back bro??? 🫵🔥
You already know!
You gotta pay to play! Exactly 💯
Yup! People don't think about that!

Thoughts about the doc race kits? Was thinking of going that route or the KLM
They’re a great bang for buck, good choice along with the Big Boost.
This car in stock form is more than most ppl can safely handle
So true
is the KLM cathcan for PCV and CCV like the Radium Dual catch can/Verus AOS? or is it just PCV?
PCV and CCV!

Is the kit youre selling still available? If so what turbo is it?

does the pure850 keep the twin scroll aspect, Just a billet form factor?
Yes it does, still twin scroll with a bigger billet wheel.
Dumb question. If I go top mount turbo, do I HAVE to go catless downpipe or can I run an Active Autowerks catted highflow pipe or something similar?
No such thing as a dumb question. So majority of the kits are catless and all top mount kits have the downpipe included. KLM started offering an option for a catted downpipe, but you'll want to make sure it's a top mount specific downpipe because the stock location ones will not be compatible.
@@VinceChristmastreeYou mentioned Pure 800. I never hear anyone talk about the Pure 850. Do you know anything about the Pure 850 or if it's worth it?
Basically the same thing, but more capable for power. I would say still worth it if you're staying stock location turbo.

I wish I hadn’t gone top mount. Too much money sunk, and the headaches increase.
I should have stuck to E50 lmao.
Yeah for sure, more complexity, more things to go wrong. DP/E50 is the perfect street setup. Fun, fast, and reliable.
That’s where I’m at. FBO E50 stock turbo. Thinking of upgrading the trans tho
@@basicgunbros4332 get the trans done from ATS or spool, and you’re golden. Top mount is much of a headache

Did i miss the total cost??
I don't think I added the total cost on the video. Expect probably 15-20k in total.
What's your full time job? 🤔
Working the street corners
Second!!!!

First!!!

Not tall
Just bought a 23 3.0 I gotta work my ass off now I’ll be looking forward to the car I’m waiting for the delivery sadly 🥲
