Good info, looking forward to seeing how they compare with some fueling. I would expect to see the remnant to shine with some extra fueling due to its size. Hopefully you can get some more fueling on that one to see what their potential is.
i think everyone was kind of hesitant when these things came out but damn they are incredible. i see them at the track all the time and they scoot! theres just something about the smoothness and sound of a straight six turbo, really gets the blood pumping. i would love one but i know it would turn into a whole thing and i'm just not trusting of a BMW engine to keep itself together, too many variables and trust in the tuner/hardware
I think it would be worth the travels to CES to have the work done. The B58 is incredibly resilient being that it was designed for diesel use and up to 50 psi of boost.
Great video and nice to see data that shows for those that stay close to stock fueling there’s really not much benefit throwing big turbos on without the fueling to support it.
NY resident here with yearly inspection requirements. Currently I’m on BM3 OTS tune, stock turbo and Active Auto Work high catted DP with exhaust monitors on and no CEL over the past two years. Which makes inspections easy. If I were to just go Pure 800 turbo do you or anybody else know if the would trigger the CEL light for the down stream O2 sensor? I’d love to do a turbo upgrade by trying to avoid the O2 sensor CEL coming on. I can’t pass the OBD II test if the monitors are not on. Thanks for any help.

We need to see this Remnant kit on an GR MT.
I can't wait to see what the new line of DAW, new Pure 900, and new Precision turbos can do.
Lots of next gen turbos coming very soon.

Your oil pump gears done?

I would definitely be getting this turbo for my Gen 1 b58

So 100hp over an E50 map isn’t enough of a benefit to you?
Love the vid
So tempting...

Curious, does this turbo kit work on an M240i xdrive as well since it’s the same engine?
Check the Remnant website or reach out to them.
Yes it does. There is a separate ordering page for it on the site
@@RemnantPerformance I have a inquiry concerning ordering your turbo for a Gen 1. Can I ask here or by email?
