I learnt to paint my orruks army without contrast paints. It's frustrating to see that now there are cheat codes like this for the same final render 😅

Ya gotta starve da piggies for a few dayz, then da sight of a choppd up body would look like curry to a pissead! Ya gotta shave the 'ead of yar victim an pull da teefs out for da sake of da piggy's digestion. Ya could do dis aftawards of course, but ya don't wanna go sifting through pig shayt now do ya? Dey will go through bonez like butta. Ya need at least sixteen Gore-Gruntas to do da job in one sittin, so be weary of any Git who keeps da pig farm. Dey will go through da body dat weighs two-hundred poundz in abouta...eight minutez. Dat meanz that a single piggie can consume two poundz of uncooked flesh every minute! Hence da expression: "as greedy as a Maw-Grunta."

Can I ask why you shade the contrast paint? I thought you didn't need to with those. Not that it looks bad!
Who says you don't need to? You can do whatever you want with paints to get the desired finish, shading a contrast just adds another tint and layer to it. I undershade with contrast paint, it adds complexity to a model quite easily, it's no different from glazing. For example the pigs nose is the same colour as the rest of his skin but look at any person or animal and you'll see skin doesn't work like that. If you tint it slightly red then it's just a bit more realistic and breaks up thew very dark skin tones more. Makes it feel like it has blood in it's veins.
I HATE how you wipe paint on your hand! Dont you know that its carcinogenic?

Whud be fun to see you paint genestealers cults ,hard to find any contrast tutorials on them . Whitch is wierd coz they look amazing and have loads of cool small detail🤞🤞🫵
