    Matthew - Fast'Un and Mighty Destroyers both happen in the hero phase so the order you use them is up to you. You could have Fast'Un moved first and then used Mighty Destroyers to charge your Maw Krusha in before Luka had a chance to block with the swords. Bye Bye Lord Castellan. Small details make a big difference!

    Unfortunately SCE is lacking mobility and range in this list
    This is why i called based on averages for Orcs
    Without longstrikes, grandhammsrs, or fulminators with a fast hammer like the prime
    ThIS SCE list is not equipped to deal with any counter play.
    It is mainly focused with marching onto objectives

    Minute 47:16, the Mawcrusher could not issue All Out Defense to himself because he had already issued All Out Attack to the Gore Gruntas hoping to do it 2 more times later. His ability however does not allow him to issue 2 different command abilities in the same phase, which goes against the core rules. He should have died there, yielding perhaps a different ending.

      He also forgets his monster phase even though he mentioned he was going to stomp couple mins during charge

      Also you're wrong megaboss didn't give him self all out defense and command all out attack. He had mega all out attack to other units then had another hero all out defense to the mega

    Luka , i know that you despise SCE shooting because it s too oppressive? But matthew did bring his mawcrusher , so you really need that shooting to atleast make a watchable battle report. Because this is not a watchable battle report , ironjawz just charge in and kill your most dps unit and the game end with like 70% of ironjawz on the table.

      I don’t know that any shooting would have helped without completely reworking the list from the ground up. And even then the dice really betrayed luka this game.

    I wonder if the updated jagged gore hackas on the pigs is to match the same weapon on the brutes which has been -2 rend since release. i'm actually makeing a bunch of brutes with jagged gore hackas to try to make a list without the mawcrusha.

    I didn't see the unit of Vindictors who died in turn 1 (On the objective) blow up in Blaze of Glory. It wouldn't have killed the Gore Gruntas, but it could have reduced them.

      Luka did and only did 3 mortal wounds as only 5 were in range.

    I’ve been trying to design my own tabletop game, largely inspired by this channel, in my free time. Unfortunately this is the sort of thing that’s impossible to do on your own. What would be a good place to discuss potential rule sets and other such things?

      There are a lot of online communities for TableTop gaming discussion MWG and TableTop Titans both have Discords, I think you gotta be a Vault Member for the MWG one.
      For play testing Table Top Simulator is the best way to go. You can go on discord with a bunch of people and have them play, and test your rules that way.

    I want to be positive and say I love watching the battle reports you guys do. But the SCE bat reps always do the stormboys dirty. You need to be bringing atleast 1 or 2 of their decent units like gardus for his 5+ ward bubble, something like longstrikes & Aventis just to make them atleast mid tier. I have played this ork list before and comfortably beaten them but it cannot be done with a list of their slow objective holding units who need to be buffed in some way to get any value out of them. I understand Stormcast are a pain to build lists for unless you study their battletome because they have so many options. Also whenever Stormcast die they explode and do mortal wounds and that was ignored, over the course of the whole game you probably do about 10 mortals back via this so worth remembering.

      he rolled all the blaze of glory mortalsand did 3 total. his dice were bad and i agree he needs some heavier hammers. retributors are powerful, but delivering them is alot harder than annihilators with grand hammers.

    Units that can issue a command to multiple units can no longer issue the command to multiple units but it now only goes to themselves such as the maw crusher cmd ability. See page 3 of the core rule book FAQ.

      What? I don't understand what you said but you can issue with a Mawkrusha the same command ability to different units, not the same one multiple time of course, because the ability allows it. And the Mawkrusha can uses it on himself once too because it's "must be received by a friendly Ironjawz unit" and it is a friendly Ironjawz unit.
      It is specifically answered in the Designer's Commentary of the core rules.

    To be fair, the meta is evolving in a more magic direction as well due to changes in Endless Spells, namely the Purple Sun
    This was likely meant to help boost sales of the Incarnate who eats Endless Spells or to encourage their use (since they all but disappeared from the game outside of Tzeentch lists)

    Please replay these two armies but with a better stormcast list . I’m playing a mate with ironjaws I was really looking forward to seeing some good strategies but the stormcast list was way to little

    The bounty hunter mechanic is so annoying that im thinking of taking a pause from aos untill the next eidtion comes. Middle earth strategy battles and horus heresy till the edition changes.

    Is it correct the MawCrusha healed from 2 wounds left to 3 wounds left with "strength from victory"?
    Matt explains is not healing...but the dice is flipped to 3 yet?

      It's not healing in this case because the system in AoS works with wounds allocation, when you take damage, you shouldn't consider it's HP your unit lose because it isn't, you take wounds until your model took a number of wounds equal to its wounds characteristic basically. So basically, imagine your unit is more and more wounded, and at some points, it dies because it finally reached its limit.
      So when the Mawkrusha gains +1 to his wound characteristic, it's not a heal because you don't remove wounds allocated from your unit, you gain 1 wound flat. And therefore, the enemy would have to deal 1 more wound in the future to kill this unit.
      Is it clear now?

    Great vid! Just wanted to mention, matthews army is NOT all battleline apart from his heroes like he said, I’m at least relatively sure that ardboyz are only battleline if you have a unit of ten at minimum

      Bloodtoofs allows you to take pigs as battleline

      Just checked the 3.0 Warclans battletome/FAQ, and the latest little points booklet with the GHB, Ardboyz are always battleline (could not see any additional notes to say they needed to be reinforced).

    Often disappointed again when I watch this channel. You guys make so many misplays and rulefails or forget important things like exploding on deaths with these SCE.
    Aren't you gettin money for playing these reports?
    No offense but in these days you are only popular because you are very colorful and have been around for so long. It feels like quantity content instead of quality.
    Really honest and hard opinion here. But maybe you can get something out of that critique.

    Can t believe
    Gw didn t fix sentinel MW on 5 and 6 , a 6" inch range decrease and not able to shoot through los blocking anymore is such a slap on the hand level of nerf , it as ridiculous as mighty destroyer on 3 unit every turn. But dragon free move once per game is like "nopeeeeee that s gotta go !!"

    I almost never comment on videos, even less so to say something negative, but man...this was bad. I know that you guys are casual, non competitive players, and so am I, but the SCE list is just so bad, where the Ironjaws one is somehting you could take to a tournament (Ironjaws don't have many units to choose from eitherway), and that's something you should consider beforehand..I wouldn't have needed to watch the BR to know how it would go. And that's without even considering the strategic or rules mistakes (why the hell would you charge a buffed unit of Goregruntas with something with low output like Vindictors?? xD) , since we're all human, we all make them. But, I mean, your slogan is "we play and call it work", so...you know..maybe play a bit better?
    I usually think your Battle Reports are OK, so I hope you guys put a little more thought in list building specifically in the future, so as to make the battles more interesting and entertaining

      I actually disagree, not that you guys can choose not to play with it, thats totally your prerogative. However I do suggest that you think more of this infantry edition as actually giving you different types of infantry to play with that are really relevant!
      Galletian+ Bounty Hunters= objective holders and clearers
      Galletian+ Expert Conquerors= Objective anvils
      non-Galletian Bountyhunters= Battleline hunters
      Non-Galletian Non-Bounty Hunters= Sneaky units moving around the battlefield engaging whatever is best for them. They can jump on bounty hunters and tie them up rather than letting them hit your battleline etc.
      Running pure Galletians is bad, because your not playing with all the options this edition really gives you!

      When I first encountered Bounty Hunters my initial reaction was "wow.. that's disgusting..".
      My friends were saying "I am happy to not use it if it makes the game more fun".
      After giving it some thought I told them "nope, keep using it, it is part of the game for now and I will learn to get used to it remembering it exists".
      Which has now lead to my Skaven army having 5 units of 20 Clanrats, 3 in Expert Conquerers. They are not there to get in to combat they are for scoring points / sometimes screening.
      I have been using a Warp-Grinder to have one of the Expert Conquerers Clanrats do mid game shenanigans, as well as planning out Gnawhole placement to bamf them around the table or take an enemy unit or two out of the game for a turn or so if my opponent blocks them.
      Been making extensive use of hidden weapon teams.. 2x Ratling Guns (I do have a Warlock hanging out with two Doomwheels to buff missile weapon damage, so can sometimes make Ratling Guns damage 2), sometimes also run a Warpfire Thrower, using Hidden Weapon Teams rule throughout the game and setting them up to shoot things, unleash hell, or if really need be risk self destruction to finish off a big threat.
      Also Bounty Hunter Doom-Flayers are hilarious.
