In my game, I had Piper as a companion, and I passed one of the difficult Charisma checks (activated by giving Mama Murphy some Jet). Skinny gave us to the count of ten to leave before he and his goons would open fire. Nick and I made it out with plenty of time, but Piper just picked up an empty cup and sat down. I had to rush back in and rescue her.

Nick being the private detective (Batman), Skinny (the Joker) not killing him but rather placing in a room where he "can't possibly" get out, and of course Darla, the baseball bat-wielding lover of the boss (being Harley Quinn, even the voice fits)

Say what you will about Malone. He's an obese gangster with a bad taste in women, but at least he keeps his word.
Its also possible to get a foresight from Mama Murphy, where she tells you what to say when you encounter Skinny. This adds a new dialogue option, and if you choose it, Malone lets you go too.

No, little lamplight HAD adults, also it had dangers from my the outside world, I would assume that a vault like that would get rid of the dwellers after a certain age tho, or move them to a different part of the vault to create more generations, but its vault tech, they'd just grow the kids in petri dishes and incinerate the ones who get 2 old.

the crazy experiments they ran with all those vaults is still so intriguing to me. some of the most enjoyable lore to uncover.
It always feel so surreal hearing Jim Cummings' voice in an adult oriented game (i.e. the voice of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Black Pete, Fat Cat, Darkwing Duck and so many other well-known Disney characters). On the castings side that's actually rather brilliant; so many people playing these games grew up on the days of programming blocs like Disney Afternoon.
Soupcan reminded me of Roberto from Futurama, the psychotic robot who keeps trying to stab people.
If the vault was completed, someone's bound to assasinate Soupcan, assuming he hasn't died from Albraxo first

I'm late to the party here...but at the end when skinny is talking to you, I was able to place mines all around him and his buddies. As soon as they get hostile there was a huge explosion and they went flying all over the vault area

Hell ya I killed her because I kept giving her drugs for her sights and she died in her chair I built for her everyone ran up to her and I just realized the other settlers fluxuating in front of me I was like fuck fuck am I going to get attacked I didn't thank God and Mary Long got mad at me and Preston saying we just let her keep using and die I carried mama Murphy's corpse to the bridge then it just de spawned I took her outfit and as revenge against Mary Long I put Mama Murphys clothing on her husband Jun Long😂
Yeah I was surprised not to see that mentioned here - Murphy gives you another option to get past Skinny without violence.

I don't think I'd ever have the patience to do a stealth character, I'm about showing up in power armor and a big gun with the large ammo capacity
Ive done about 12 play throughs and my most recent im a stealth sniper, im a level 36 and play on hard, only missing 4 bobble heads and a few magazines but this is by far my fav build so far, its so beast

These are great! I have never played fallout, but I am interested in the lore. You do a great job of explaining the lore in a way that someone that does not understand anything about the series can understand.

I'm sorry, I dont have much social media so this is the only place I can message. I'm not sure if you read your RUclips comments but I wanted to thank you for making these fallout lores. Vaults are my favorite. I'm working at the library and we are doing curbside so for 8 hours a day, it gets really boring and my eyes glaze over more than once. What helps though while I'm shelving or shelf reading, is putting on my headphones and listening to your fallout lore stories. It has been helping the day go by faster. I just wanted to let you know all the effort you put into these videos and all the work you do is really appreciated. Thank you for helping me get thru my work day faster 😊

I've never been able to DO sneak melee in Fallout 4. If I was lucky enough I'd sneak a headshot here and there.
The Fallout wiki mentions that Skinny Malone is named after Bugsy Malone and he and the triggermen are based on Al Capone's gang, but what nobody seems to have caught is that the combination of "skinny" and Malone's obvious slight obesity is a massive callout to Fat Tony from simpsons. Am I the only person who immediately thought of that?

Hmm, when I went to Boston on a class trip, the tour guide led us to a graveyard, she then said that close to a metro station nearby, there was a mass grave. Apparently there was a myth that the conductor of the train would sometimes see a 18th century British soldier standing on the tracks just aiming at the train with his musket. Good times

I think vault 114 is one of the hilarious vaults in all of the games
mainly because of the type of experiment they are doing
there is one other dialog option i found, when i confronted skinny, i mentioned a name i aparantly discovered earlier and he clammed up and let us go without any other word

I remember if you give drugs to an old lady in the Sanctuary she can give you a phrase to use on Skinny Malone to be able to leave the Vault before he counts 10. Maybe this reflect some of the help Nick provided related to the old times
