Thank you for letting the man that knows the coach show the coach. Smoother and more professional.
Yes!
Agreed.
He knows what it is.
Patrick was terrific. You should definitely use him again. The chemistry was there!!!
Agreed!
Hear Hear. Great presentation Patrick.
Fantastic!
Yeah he was a cool guy with good vibes.
Agree
I love how well designed this van is: the outside storage doors lift open for easy access; the back storage area (wow); the refrigerator duel opening (fantastic); the amount of storage in the bedroom and the bathroom is a good size. I think that Patrick did a great job and hope to see him again.
Patrick is an encyclopedia with terrific personality. If he starts his own youtube channel ...
Patrick did a great job! Excited for all the new opportunities now that Matt's RV Reviews is independent 😊
No one can sell up a LTV better than Dean. He is the Chuck Norris of LTVs
My favorite of his will always be the older Regency GT29T. I still want one lol
If you watch it make sure you see the 12:12ish mark about the medicine cabinet!! hahah
I love the island bed Dean demos. .
Dean is the Best!!
Absolutely Dean is best.
I've heard he's kind of a jerk in person.
Hey Matt: Great job on the review. Here's some extra info: The color schemes use 3 coats of color with 2 coats of clear coat finish, walls, ceiling, and floor are tubular steel frame and vacuum pressed with insulation in between, everything in the coach as much as possible is all done in-house in their factory in Winkler, Manitoba Canada, Even though the coaches are "B+", they're considered a Class C for insurance because of the cutaway chassis the coaches are built on. Also, none of Leisure Travel Van's current product line use "wet baths" as they are all dry-baths. The fridge in the galley use 3 way power: Propane, 110V shore power and battery that's auto-switching. The Truma Aqua-Go Comfort Plus will give you the best performance if the selector in the cab is set for Comfort Plus setting. The shower has a valve button on the hand held shower head to slow down the water flow to conserve water while dry camping. In the utility bay, the winterizing hose can also be used to top up the fresh water tank.
Thanks for pointing that out about it really being considered a Class C especially re insurance purposes. Technically, there is no such thing as a "B+" because these aren't built on a van chassis. These Wonders are amazing.
Patrick is amazing. He gave us our very first glimpse of the Rv lot world and was so helpful. We are planning on setting up our appointment with him in the near future to choose our dream rv! Loved the tour!
Picked up our 2021 LTV Wonder RTB back in August 2020. Best motorhome on the road… period.
The awning is the weak point. It does NOT have a wind sensor.
This was the RV I wanted to purchase for my wife and I when I first started looking. Now I want a four seasons with a 4 X 4 and a class C. This is beautiful. This young man Patrick definitely knows his stuff. You guys make a great team. Cheers!!!
So cute watching Matt try to use his "Inside Voice"
Funny 😄
Got my attention too!
I didn’t realize how much I enjoyed his showmanship until he had to be throttled 🥰 I have become a fan girl of this channel, Matt, Andreá, Will, Jenn and Patrick are the best RV entertainment on YT. I’m over here rubbing my chin like 🤔 “I like that, I would add that to mine” knowing good and well I’m gonna have to die and collect my life insurance to be able to afford any of these luxury RV’s.
@@valerief1231 I’m so there with you. On all points. Ugh. Lol. And I don’t even have life insurance lol
YAY! I've been waiting 2 years for this review!
This is absolutely the perfect size for me. Just a little wider and taller than a van, but still drives like a van. So you get just enough extra space inside to not feel totally cramped, but also feel comfortable driving it, even in a strange city. I have no dislikes per se, so I'll just say that I think I'd prefer the MB version with a bigger TV and bathroom. Since I only spend 6-8 hours a day in the bed, I like the idea of it not taking up space when it's not being used, and leaves more space for everything else the other 2/3 of the day.
I found a dislike, but not for this unit. They got rid of the murphy bed version of the Wonder (Ford chassis). It's only on the Unity now (Mercedes + $15k). womp womp
@@BradWilson1969 they got rid of the front MB wonder. The RL is definitely still available and quite popular.
Thank you, Matt & Patrick. I have wanted to see your review of this very model for about 18 months. This is a perfect RV for my husband and me.
The smirk Matt gave when he knew “no” was the answer cracked me!
Patrick hit it out of the park delivering the review!!!! Get him to do more!! In late 2019 we looked for our #1 choice, the Leisure Unity. But even then Leisure was very hard to find. Love them. Bought our #2 choice the Winnebago Navion 24J and love it too. Leisure is still #1 in our opinion.
It wouldn't have been an issue if Covid wasn't a factor.
Matt i can tell you were awkward for a little while since this was different and off script than your usual video but you came back by having fun with it and just going with the flow. good job and Patrick did a outstanding job and excellent product knowledge. He is a very impressionable person.
well that and the fact he couldn't be as enthusiastic as usual
I am glad to hear ,we will see Andrea soon. I have missed seeing her . Matt and Andrea make a wonderful review team. 👍👍
I agree-it’s always nice to hear a woman’s POV because we see things differently 👍
Ha HA! Patrick is a natural. This was fun to watch but I think the Unity with the Murphy bed is the nicer choice. Your off to a good start on your own ... Cheers
There's also the Wonder with the murphy bed (rear living) which is really good.
These are the Cadillacs of B+ RV’s. If this is what you’re reviewing RIGHT AFTER going indie, I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for this channel!
Finally, a Ford platform. Much better quality than Mercedes and Ram. Cheaper maintenance too
Ford greater quality than Mercedes. Okay, Mr. Delusional.
@@dgpatter I wouldn’t knock the 3.5 eco - better power and torque. Yet less expensive to fuel and maintain. I’d actually say equal to the Sprinter.
No towing capacity...fail by ford on this model..
@@lutomson3496 ?? It’s a leisure choice. The Ford platform can tow more than 4200 pounds.
Best layout as well I’ve seen
So happy to see this review. LTV Rear Lounge is my dream motorhome. Single woman, two dogs and not for full time.
That's my dream LTV too!
I wonder what Matt would think of the RL since his dislike was no couch, poor living area. The RL does not have that garage space.
@@xToddmcx true. I prefer more space inside, but that's definitely a valid point.
Wonder RL is our top pick too. Hoping that Matt will find one to review. Love no slide and 2 areas so hubby & I have some space. (Ekko is a top contender too...) We are 4-5 years out so excited to see all the new changes in the industry.
I ordered from Jerry at Gerzenys in Lakeland. He was very upfront about the wait. I really liked that.
This is a totally new video that brings more information. This is my best RV show! Keep up the good work.
Great video fellas. Big Shout out to Patrick's wife. I've been waiting on this review for awhile. Glad your doing this Matt.
Leisure Travel Vans - Best in Class - Earned my admiration so much we are one of the many waiting for our Unity RL. Great review.
I agree Leisure #1. Wanted a Leisure Unity but too hard to find in late 2019 to Feb 2020. So bought a winnebago Navion. Very Happy with it and the quality. BUT still not the gold standard quality of Leisure ...in a class of its own.
@@earlhunt2815 Absolutely....Patrick said it best in his review, "You are going to be the JEWEL of the Park where ever you go" (28:16)... We also looked at the Winnebago View at our local dealer (same as the Navion)....everything was sold out back in May when we bought so we went for the LTV Unity RL...as a retired couple with 2 cocker spaniels it fits our lifestyle. These B+ motorhomes are the smart choice for couples. Efficient and small enough to go anywhere.
This man knows his product! And Matt is pretty good too!
What a great salesperson. Love the folks who know their product and and are honest about delivery, price increases.
Matt... The other intriguing version is the one with the central Murphy bed and televator... Please review that one.... Also, excellent call on PPPs with class Bs. Excellent show and thnx.
Love Patrick! If you do another review of a unit at Gerzeny’s, I hope you bring him back! Also, gotta love LTV, they make a heck of a product.
This is hands down my favorite Class B (b+) I have ever seen. I am smitten😍😍😍
ME, TOO. 👍 IT IS TRULY FUNCTIONAL AND CUTE LIKE A BUTTON.
Patrick is all class, real pro! Let’s see him again soon please Matt.
Hi Guys, I couldn’t believe when I walked in La Mesa RV in Sacramento Ca. They had all the different models on the showroom floor.
Great performance Matt with your first review as you go independent very good job dude....love ya guys Matt
So excited to see this review of a LTV. I’ve seen this unit on the LTV website so I am familiar with this it. It is great to see you exercising your independence and expanding out to other RV manufacturers. You are on to something here Matt. This unit is not for a young married couple with three kids but the beauty of it is that it is nimble and can go into areas that larger class Cs can’t. As small as it is it’s still a home on wheels.
So excited that you viewed this LTV. I have been following this brand for over a year. Love this coach. Maybe someday I could afford one. 😀
Love the exterior paint scheme. Love the rear huge window and roof solar.
So the step gives room for all that storage and tanks. The higher the floor and the beds, the more storage below. So the step is a reasonable compromise.
Excellent! I have wanted you guys to review one of these since I 1st saw them. I was not disappointed. Patrick was an awesome cohost, his knowledge was such a benefit. I like that he was very easy, comfortable, and wasn't a constant 'salesman'.
Matt- this was a great way to do the review- unscripted! You have a great sense of humor and it really comes out when you shoot from the hip. You are much more relaxed than when you are staying on script.
I love that kitchen. putting the extra counter down gives it more prep space than most I've seen, esp in a class B. I really like having 2 twin beds, I travel solo but have a friend that wants to come along every now and then. This would work perfectly, much better than a jack knife. The storage is truly incredible.
I'm not crazy about the wet bay being so low, but it certainly wouldn't dissuade me. Somewhere I missed the propane tank? Does it have a quick connect for a grill?
Thanks for reviewing the model that we have on order.
Great video! Patrick was great! Leisure Travel definitely has a loyal following for a good reason. Best in their class.
We talk to Patrick a month ago. Great job Patrick! Matt thank you for the review we love this model. Unity is our favorite.
Nice job Patrick. The pass thru storage is amazing & love the Ford Transit because I never want a Mercedes chassis. I wish Triple E still made regular RVs like the Regency GT, not just these. Still super expensive used but high high quality, especially for Canadian cold weather camping. Were those Canadian Kuma chairs in front of it? lol
Great review and I love this coach. But I missed Andrea!!!! Would love to hear what she thought
Love the pleasure way 🥰
Leisure Travel Vans showed up our phone’s as an ad. The first thing we said was let’s go to Matts RV reviews and see if he did something on them. And you did not disappoint. I called a dealer the next day after listening to your review and let them know at Craig Smith RV that we heard about it through you. Patrick did a really, really good job. We were glad to see him hop in the shower since my husband is 6’2. Keep up the good work we love your humor, sincerity and information.
Loved this review. I have a Unity RL on order. Ordered , like many others, sight unseen. Great to see a realistic review with realistically sized people. Usually see these reviewed with wide angle lenses that make things appear huge. I now have a better sense of actual size. Thanks Matt!
The RL is the best floor plan. It is on the top of my list. I'm sure you will be pleased!
Omg you found one!!!!! Love LTV!!!
Likes: Ford chassis, light/contemporary colors, rear twin beds are PERFECT for we uncoupled travelers. Bonus: that garage!!! 😍 Double bonus: sooo much solar.
Dislikes: not a fan of those closets, not enough counterspace, the fact this isn't sitting in my driveway right now.
Also I love Patrick!!! Bring him back often. ♥
Fun fact: I met Dean a couple years ago at the BC RV Show. He wasn't super friendly unless you were actually there to buy an LTV.
Fun fact: 🙄 , well I would probably respond the same if I were Dean, imagine being recognized constantly, and everybody wanting to chitty chat to you about nothing all day long. Imagine how tiring that could be! I said Hi to him at the same rv show, he was very polite.
I am in love with these both MB and RTB models. Fords are easy to get worked on. I am hoping when we past this Covid and things calm down I can get a new one. Patrick did a great job. Matt thank you for reviewing.
Great review, Matt & Patrick! Not quite Dean but still great. One small item that was overlooked, was the lighted handrail inside the unit.
I prefer a Murphy bed for sleeping and a Ford chassis.
That was an AWESOME review of a fantastic motor home. Thank you so much for changing your format. Best of luck to you. Well done!
Great video! Love the new format (although miss Andrea). It feels much more unbiased. Best of luck to you all. Saw you got well wishes from Jason of RV Miles too! It would be great to see you two in a dialogue 😊
Awesome !! Great review, they do a great job putting a lot of features in a small area. Patrick did a great job !!
Now that is a fine rig! Thank you Patrick. Glad you can bring some decent add a great variety since you are now independent. That's the one for me.
One of the best space savers is the hanging clothes closet storage under the beds. When lifting up the mattresses, there’s a large 20” wide by 36” deep closet for hanging clothes. Brilliant
Really love the effectiveness of the use of space in this motorhome! Love the color choice of the wooden panels and details. Bedroom looks awesome as well. I much like this more European style motorhome, it’s more like the camping vehicles I’m used to
Great first video Matt! You and Patrick did a great job.
What an amazing rig! I would love to see more floor plans if you guys ever get the chance! At the end(especially) it was clear how you were, Matt. Congratulations to all of you for your big steps forward you all made!
Great Job Patrick! You know your stuff and held your own with Matt. I'll bet you did Jeanette proud😊
Loves: the Ford, the look/layout, the solar panel options, the flip down counter top/trashcan holder/refrigerator door. Dislikes, as you 2 said, the build time and the steps. I don't mind the 2 seats because the others turn around and there's a table.
Patrick is cool as hell. Even if he didn’t know his lines. LOL
As far as the Leisure Travel Van's, the Unity's MB is the one to review. Size wise, there's a huge difference between the two, then of course there's the Serenity too. But the Unity's MB is the best choice to choose from, it has the ultimate bathroom, huge shower and lots of storage. And let's not forget to mention the Televator in that unit...
Serenity line has been discontinued unfortunately. The good thing about LTV is the number of floor plan options. MB is a very nice unit but, for example, the pass through garage and no slide is better for us. For others the RL is the best because of the 2 comfortable separated areas.
As an owner of one of the last Serenity’s that came off the line, Matt comment about the front seating space is correct and why we went with a serenity. If you like the Wonder, wait till you see the Unity Line. The Wonder line is nice but not near the same space and design as a Unity. The Serenity is even a level above the Unity.
I love how Matt is all surprised by the fridge
A prior class B owner here, I loved this unit. You guys being ability to expand to all makes and models is great!! Thanks Patrick & Matt.
I drove a ten passenger Ford Transit School van last year and I couldn’t feel any difference going from my Ford Escape to the Transit Van it drives so great!
Awesome thank you!
Finally a class b with a proper fridge size love this rig love the twin beds I travel with my friend we are not a couple so both having a bed without tearing down daily is a huge thing for us
Yaaay Patrick on your debut!!! Great job! 👏🏽👏🏽
It's 3.5 Ecoboost. Basically same as F150, but tuned differently.
Mostly due to exhaust plumbing I believe. Either way it’s a powerhouse with out the added complications of DEF and diesel tax for service.
@@JohnSeitz Well said! Gen 2 3.5 with 10 speed definitely good combo for small Class C/B+ application. Maintenance cost would be alot less than MB diesel. I would buy one👍
You can absolutely tow with the Wonder Transit chassis. The tongue weight is 300lbs, not the towing weight. Also, the Wonders are now all gasoline Transit chassis, and the generator is only a 4kw gasoline generator. You do not have the LP option on the Wonder. Unity offers the choice between LP and Diesel. We just picked up our Wonder Front Twin a few days ago.
Matt Be Yourself! You are why we watch this channel! ❤️
Patrick did a wonderful job ! 👏👏👏
Perfect example of someone who is very good at their craft and knows the product they are selling vs one who just wings it and makes it up as they go along. Excellent video guys!
I love their rear lounge model.
It’s beautiful Matt good job. But would rather have a convection cook top than a two burner propane.
I agree with you. However isn't there an induction top option...?
He mentioned induction option.
There is no induction cooktop option at this time. Maybe it will be there in 2023 but not now.
@@lindaward5338 15:45
@@RockerRed He is wrong. I have a 2022 build sheet in front of me. Induction cooktop is not on it.
Hey Patrick your wife must be awesome because she has an awesome name :) Great review. So happy for you Matt. Loving watching you growing your channel.
I used to have a LTV Unity. It was amazing in the attention to detail. Not many would ever be disappointed in owning one.
This is their cheaper line. I think most people requested the Mercedes platform. But I'm actually more interested in the Ford line. So thank you Matt.
It's only cheaper because the Transits cheaper, leisure doesn't build the Wonders any differently. They do have some different design goals though, like keeping the height under 10 feet which is why the A/C isn't ducted. Doesn't fit.
Thanks Matt and Patrick! Love LTV , I'd love the MB!
What a great way to start off. We are from Canada and have been thru the LTV factory in Winkler MB, this is second to none, but it is second to Pleasure Way.......PW use to build a B+(Class C) but is retooling for a new class B+. Patrick is a Great Salesman, he has a very solid knowledge of the LTV product and was a great addition for the show. Can not wait till you do the PW, but hey Matt come on up to Canada and do some factory tours.....have seen both LTV and PW, oh ya and have done the Roadtrek tour as well, now owned by Rapido from Europe. 3 Main ones produced in Canada, but PW is second to NONE!
Tiny but mighty. My fav classB to date. Love Patrick! Man knows his product. CONGRATS Matt & Will on your maiden independent voyage! Good job guys👏👏👏👍
Love it Matt! Can you say how many seatbelts are in the class B's when you do the reviews? Great job!
I started the video with the mindset "Ugggh...B" but this is a really neat little unit. I'd consider it.
This RV is perfect for the philippines. Salute to you Matt for featuring this kind of RV….
MATT you are the BOMB, and this young man is a great great guy, great presentation to you BOTH. RAH! To PATRICK
Wow Matt, you just found your best co-reviewer Patrick. The flow was excellent. He could work with Andrea and you without any hesitation. No offense, he knocked it out the park compared to the other sales reps you’ve used. Absolutely great Job 👏.
Thanks for the review Matt.
This has been my fave RV this year, I have it on my finals list at the very tip top
Wow! This one actually ticks all the boxes. Small and easy to drive, yet roomy cab. Bathroom is a must, with a useable shower...I'm not sure how large the water tanks are though. Love the queen bed option. And that extra counter space is the bomb! The solar option is way cool!! I just love this....my 3 dislikes: the wait time, the sink size, and the small living room space..but hey, its practically a van, so those aren't bad!!
Leave it to Matt to find it!! Great job! And Patrick was awesome. That was a fantastic review. I never would have known I wanted one if it wasn't for Matt's RV review
One alternate floor plan is a Rear Lounge which has a sofa for daytime and a bed for night, but reduces outside storage. If you leave shower door and toilet door open, you have a small DRY bathroom. Cannot have it all in B or B+ I guess....at least not yet. :)
What a great way too kick off the new Matt's RV Reviews - fantastic review, fantastic RV.
I hope Patrick lets you know when he gets other floorplans in. Fantastic product and he was awesome.
What is the CCC? What a great unit! Cheers to Patrick, too!
We would like to know the same thing. If Andrea would of been there, she wouldn’t of missed it😉 If you could post this, it would be appreciated. Thanks!
I agree with you on the casual seating -- to tight with no room to stretch out. My biggie is the engine. I'd want a bigger engine.
"Everything that can be something is something!" I love that.
A decent B+, finally. One thing you didn't't like about this is exactly why Rear Lounge is the most brilliant LTV floor plan. For me, not ducting the A/C is one of the reasons that I would always choose Unity over Wonder. The cold air will not be distributed evenly, and the noise it generates will drive you crazy. This model is extremely loud. I know because my current RV has the same model. Looks good, but...
This has always been my favorite, thanks for reviewing this Matt.I’m thinking you won’t see discounts like other RVs.
Matt and Will awesome first live review guys!!! Patrick thanks for the great product and review! And, of course, beside every successful guy, is an equally successful woman (thanks Jeanette)!I 😉 well guys, how does it feel to have your first one done? One review at a time guys, you'll look back a year from now, at this video and won't believe how far you guys have come!!! Much love to you ❤
Took my wife to Hershey with her heart set on a LTV. No knock on them because they are super sweet units but it ended up being our third choice behind the Renegade we purchased and the Coach House Platinum which was a super close second. This was 2018 and the only Transit that was in the running was a Fuse which Winnebago unfortunately discontinued. Glad to see so many more Transits being offered nowadays.
Great video. You should consider heading to Coach House. You’re in their neighborhood! They now offer a sweet Transit model and I’d love to see how you think they compare.
Not sure if anyone else mentioned but the limit on the towing capacity isn’t because of ford so much as it is the floor plan. RTB has the lowest towing due to the garage. I think other Wonders can tow up to 4000 or so. Would love to see a Wonder Rear Lounge reviewed. Check out Howard RV in Wilmington if around. I believe they have one for display. If I recall correctly with the WRTB, it doesn’t come with extra padding to make the bigger bed, just slide them together to make Queen size bed where the Unity RTB has the extra pieces to make a king. Also, 2022 they are doing right solar panels so that I love.
It's actually a lot better when you are quieter.
I agree. It feels more like a tour and a review versus sales pitch with his normal volume.
I prefer his enthusiasm!
@@grammamarth6681 I prefer the full unbridled enthusiasm as well.
This is a "REAL" Matt's walk through. Most detailed review in a long long long while. But I was wanting this to include the tank capacities and solar specifics. Patrick made the review!!! 👍
We just yesterday found the Wonder RTB, so of course we needed to see if Matt did a review.
Finally NOW we’ve found our future camper. This has everything nobody else offers. We will absolutely be in contact when we’re ready to buy.
Only one concern - the 25 gallon fuel tank. Bigger please …
Matt, You're no Dean but you are making great strides with going independent! Good goin' and congrats on your new channel! Dan
Thank you!!!
@@MattsRVReviews Matt is better!
One year later, I watched this video again. I am still an LTV Wonder RTB wannabe and I thought you and Patrick gave this SUCH a great review. Matt, your sthick is growing on me and I appreciate your insights and different perspectives. Like other commenters, Patrick should have his own channel. Great job both of you!
