@@TunerwithKids Sorry I need to rephrase. I am not sure yet but I may have ordered vland headlights that fit 2006-2012 is250s. In your opinion and experience, do you think those light still should work with 2013 models? or would I have do some DIY stuff to them.
2013 is same as 2011-2012 so it will fit.
Can u possibly do one for the Toyota Camry SE 2009 please? I can’t get them to work. It would be much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
Don’t have a Camry
Soooo did the giveaway ever happen
What year and model your car is
2007
Such an awesome build! Hoping to have my build on my channel be at your level! Keep up the great work! Airrunner x Airlift x T-Demand x SSR
Hey Tuner, my mechanic installed my headlights for me and when I looked at my old lights I saw that the brackets were still there. Is it supposed to be possible to mount these headlights on without the bracket and if you do so, what are the potential issues?
You need the brackets or else bumpers won’t stay on correctly.
The car sensors does not work after installing these LED headlights. Do you know how to solve this issue?
What sensor?
hi! is the afs fuse removed forever?
Yes if you don’t want the AFS light.
how to remove the check headlight system error?
Pull the AFS fuse.
Is it difficult to adjust the light?
You can adjust via long screwdriver when on the car. I like to use a drill and 8mm when light is off the car to make the large adjustments faster then remount and fine adjustments with screw driver.
Hey binh do you have a problem with your drl light being flicking with the new vland…. Not the checker drl… the drl where the highbeam are at..
Disable your factory DRL in techstream.
@@TunerwithKids I heard of it but idk what’s the right stuff to order… would you have a link or a video abt it?
Someone probably has a video in it. I have techstream videos but for other options and locks. But in the same menu.
Are the going to work like the OEM headlight with the auto lights function?
Yea. Auto on and off is the car not headlights.
Tuner with Kids I guess im going to have to go for them, it's my only choice since my driver's side headlight assembly needs replacement. I really wanted stock headlights:/
Nice looking headlights, wish have the money now to buy a set of those for my 07” IS
Excellent video. The Vlands are overrated imo.
People chasing Vlands for looks. Don't give a rats about the compromise in safety or quality.
@@blackpanda7612 Those same people don't care about maintenance either and that's the reason their shit raggedy cars don't last 🤣
@@Jedi_Luke One of my mates Vland headlights started getting condensation on the inside and these lights are expensive. I don't mind paying $5 for chinese crap because I don't expect it to last very long but if you're going to ask me to fork out hundreds of $, you better have a quality product.
@@blackpanda7612 Exactly!! I can't see spending $500 on headlights and you can't even change the bulb if one blows out. If I can't get the 2011+ OEM, I'll either get Depos or the Vipmotoz. The LED strip is the only cool thing on Vlands imo cuz it's so bright.
@@Jedi_Luke You're 100 percent right. Yeah you're basically just paying for that led strip. Same here mate. I'll wait for a cheap set of 2010 headlights and rather get those. At least i Know my ASF and other headlight functions will work and at a much higher light output than VLands.
Its like asking me to put chinese tyres on my Lexus. I bought my car with chinese tyres on and they were fucking terrible. I got rid of them asap. Threw on Falken Azenis tyres and never looked back. Car is comfy and quiet. Chinese are just snake oil salesmen. They'll try to sell you a lump of fresh cow dung.
hi can i pass by you to buy those accessories?
I have vland headlights on my 2007 Lexus I accidentally removed the fuse wire for the headlights while my car was running, my car died I replaced the fuses but now my car won't start. do you think you can help me please?
Check other fuses or main fuse? Is there any power?
@@TunerwithKids it was a fuse thanks
just bought these but my driver side light turn signal stopped working after a few minutes and i’m not sure why. my rear turn signal works but it flickers fast for my driver side
Sounds like wire harness. If light doesn’t work and signals are not working that’s two separate systems, so chances of both being bad is slim. Are DRL working? Could be a bad ground wire.
Great video. I got an is250 over here in the UK. Been thinking about get these due to mine looking horrible and yellow. Would you recommend the other type of is250 headlight upgrade? The ones with H7 bulbs still...
Thanks you. I would enter the give away but I'm a year late🤦🏽
These are probably best plug and play option.
@@TunerwithKids thank you so much for the reply. With a £500 price tag can only afford to make one purchase and insure it is the right one. Off the back of your experience and video these vlands may just be the ones👍🏽
Are you located in the Gainesville area?
Yea. I live in GNV.
Tuner with Kids me too, but I’m from Miami and West Palm Beach. Been here for 4 years.
Tuner with Kids I want my calibers painted like your if you work on other cars.
Naw, no time to work on others’ cars. Barely have time for my own.
Tuner with Kids okay no problem your videos will guide me thanks!
Love the video man! I currently have a 2012 IS F and my drivers side headlight has started to leak. I don't want to drop $2k on a new set of OEM ones so I am considering either the DEPOs or the VLANDs. Not planning on doing any retrofitting. In your opinion, which one of these do you think would be better?
Depends if you want the updated look or the classic Lexus look. If it’s leaking, I’d recommend opening and resealing. The 2012 are still worth money in good condition.
Hi Binh. Hope eveything is well. I also just got the Vland Headlights. I noticed an issue in regards to the DRL. Basically, when I am only using the DRL the "White Check lights" is fine but for some reason the "high beams" are also on. Do you know the reason why both the High beams and DRL check lights are on at the same time (i already removed the AFS fuse 7.5A headlamp lvl)? I was searching on how to remove the high beam and it's suppose to be just the DRL "white check light" on. Thanks again hope your having a great holiday weekend.
Need to disable OEM DRL on high beam using Techstream.
@@TunerwithKids Got it. Thanks for the tip.
Where did you get that front bumper lip?
Came with conversion.
not Really relevant comment bro,but I got evo x headlights and feel its absolutely a scam, caused my afs dash light flashing(if ur car doesnt have afs then u might be happy w it),and poor finish(cheap plastic feel and sent directly from China lol),even worse aftersale support, leave ur query alone and never wanted help(keeping say they r consulting and let u wait)
we all earn money hard ,we deserve alot better product for its price
What's going on Tuner with kids. After doing my testing with the Lux meter to my own cars, i wanted know if your results was from 15ft away right? As you mentioned and if so, I think they are wrong. From 15 feet away my 06 Lexus (K2 Motor Headlights) and my Stock (2019 Mercedes C300 Multi Beam LED) are still bright then the Vland and your retrofit. Can you do me a huge favor please? Can you do a test from 15 and 25 ft away with the LUX meter on the Vland headlights? I would really appreciate it so I can decide what upgrades i want to do? Thank you so much hope to hear from you soon
I only tested one side, if you have both headlights on, it will be different. Again, my results will NOT be same as yours no matter what unless we are in the same location and same conditions. My reason for testing only one side is because I had one old projector from my 07 OEM HID. It was more for comparison vs. raw output tests.
@@TunerwithKids ohh ok gotcha! Thank you and yes i had both headlights on so that's the problem but thanks again.
I just installed these lights today on my 2009 Lexus is250, but the high beam light on the drivers side stays on and flicker even when lights are off. DRLs are working perfectly fine.
Any suggestions how to fix this?
I removed fuse under dashboard too.
Need to get the DRL disabled using Techstream software.
Thanks I watched other videos last night that told Me the same... can you link which equip I’d need to do that myself?
Check out my video on Techstream. Links to product and info in the description box of that. ruclips.net/video/z2dN4ZLZTAk/видео.html
Tuner with Kids thank you!
Tuner with Kids Bought the Cable and installed tech stream, set everything up per the instructions on the file that came with the cable. Still cannot access light control under the customize options. I live in the US. Any idea of what’s going on?
I can access other customize features.
will it be bad with those gaps when its rain?
Which gaps? No leaking or water issues on mine.
Has anyone had issues with these vland headlights with condensation build-up? My passenger side is very bad, and I've tried sealing it, but it still is doing it I'm not sure what to do.
Mine are resealed with butyl. So no leaks.
hey is there a way i can get the drl wire harness online my car came with the lights installed but the drls don't work
You can probably make a wire. It’s basic.
@TunerwithKids can you please tell me how I'm very new to this
did u end up working it out. if so how
Will that fit to lexus Rx 350 premium 2020 ???
No. These are for 2006-2013 IS.
