- Hi welcome to Kep Cambodia/Lost Phone/Scammed/Traditional Crab Amok/National Park And More. What an eventful day, Starting off on a low with a disappointing trip to see a cave, then on to Salt Fields where i lost my iphone. After that a lovely ride around Kep National Park i go and get a Cambodian traditional dish the crab amok at the amazing restaurant Holy Crab.
Finishing off with a night time walk down Kep Beach and showing you the street side street food stall that scammed me the night before charging me three times the normal amount for a horrendous egg fried rice that i didn't even order. They have a cambodian menu and one for foreigners. They were not happy when i got this and translated it, beware of these scams in Cambodia.

Bro, my old man brain can't handle the constant camera direction changes, getting mad dizzy. Maybe it's the 85" QLED TV, I'll try it on my phone but if you could try not turn your phone around so much, would be great 👍
I’ll be honest mate this is the first time I’ve heard this in over 150,000 views I don’t know how I can make it better. This is raw vlogging
I do apologise but I’m an ex builder that works 18hrs a day growing this channel. The constant changes is because in Asian heat cameras heat up so fast if I don’t do that it would take double the amount of time to do a vlog. With doing daily raw vlogs that isn’t possible. I’m so sorry mate but that’s out of my hands. In the future I will cut to 4/5 a week but atm I can’t work any harder
Also it’s not a phone I use the a GoPro hero 12 which is the latest and best on the market imo for vlogging. Sorry mate

Definitely disagree. For raw footage like this it's an A in my book. And I would consider myself pretty critical, sometimes I watch the videos I film back and notice how swift or jagged the movements are, but the videos I've seen on here have all been as steady as any of the really popular vloggers.

The good thing about Thailand is that you pay the same price as the locals, and the food is much better.
The food in Thailand is awesome mate, that said the crab amok i had in kep was amazing.
I missed this one when I was away just been looking back to check you know I watch all your vlogs. And you were lucky to get your phone back I’m glad you did. It was an emotional watch when you talked about your accident when you were knocked over and Glastonbury I remember it clearly ❤

Thanks Greg, the crab amok was amazing I can still taste it. I was so lucky with my phone, it give me a wake up call.
The motorbike was fine, I rented it from the hotel I was staying at. When I got back I explained what happened and asked them if I could borrow a hose pipe, I washed it down and my trainers.

You can build all the resorts you want, but if tourists don't see value for money and time, they won't be back and they will tell others. Cheap scams, lousy food and muddy roads put people off spending their tourist dollars there.
That’s right unfortunately mate, I seen vids of Thailand today and it’s absolutely rammed. Then look at Kep and it’s 95% locals, that’s the difference. They know how important tourism/infrastructure is to their countries economy and that shines through.
@@ParkinsonRaw It takes very little training,brings in hard currency, and employs a lot of people . I saw Phuket and Koh Samui in the early 80's. Each time I came back , along came organized crime and pollution . Bangkok mafia and the fishing /pirate families cleared out all the local families.
@@pepelemoko01 it’s horrible to see mate, there doing it now in Khlong Toei Bangkok to make way for high rise apartments. I love that area, people call it the biggest slum in Thailand but I think it’s just traditional Thai. I’ve had loads of great days and nights there.

Really enjoying your Cambodian vlogs , yes you're right, if they could sort out the rubbish situation and fix some of the roads they would have a lot more tourists.
Cambodians are amongst the laziest untidy people on the planet.
Definitely Paul, all I’ve heard from the locals is it’s very quiet. I tell them it’s because you use your streets like a tip and you milk tourists like they’re a cash cow. There attitude towards their country and the people that visit needs to change very fast. Word spreads and before they know it the whole country will be a ghost town.
I'm in kampot right now and it is a little bit quiet. I think it's a lot to do with the road to Sihanouk ville, it's an absolute disgrace , almost impassable, it's taking 4 hours to reach the main highway, the PP to Sihanouk road, it's crazy , they said it would be fixed in November but nothings happened yet.... As for the rip offs , we just have to learn to ask the price before we buy . Most can speak English but if you can ask in Khmer you will usually get a good price.

I'm honestly curious how bad it is.
When it comes to the foreigner tax, I hate that, but I get it as well. It isn't fair either way actually becauae they earn much less but at the same time, at least add %10 or %15 not double or triple.
As far as the trash issue, any government whether black or white needs to make that a priority. Good on you for bringing it up. There's nice things and bad things in every country around the world.
There is mate, I’ll be honest I don’t get it at all. If anybody visited the UK would you be happy paying anything on top?
Fact is their cost of buying the food/taxes/overheads and the cost of living is much much less. To be fair they don’t pay for most of them. So I think It should be even. In Thailand you don’t get this because they know tourism are vital to their way of life and that’s why the country is head and shoulders economy wise in front of Cambodia.
They don’t use us as a cash cow. If you look at Thailand right now it’s just hit high season and it’s jam packed with tourists. Then look at Kep beach. All locals and next to no tourists, it’s a big indicator.
Nice vlog rich,very enjoyable, i personally don't see anything wrong with the camera work,love your honesty, having lived in Cambodia for 3 years, i know what you mean about dual pricing.

Tough start but finished on a high , the roads alone would stop me going to cambodia, along with the iffy food and prices , plus the rubbish and burning i'll give it a swerve , or watch the rose tinted you tubers videos and believe in their hype,. phone loss could have been catastrophic , how lucky were you to find it in one piece , do you have i cloud ?, i almost lost my passport once at thailand mayanmar border, same as you retraced my steps and found it down the side of the seat in the car , it slipped out of my pocket as i exited car and thankfully stayed just inside the sill of the car, i know how you must have felt,.3 things to be careful with ,passport/phone/wallet,. lesson learnt there richy,. upward and onward to vietnam, looking forward to the mayhem after the relative calm of cambodia , thailand is going to seem like paradise after camvietlao !,...cheers,.
Mike I can’t begin to tell you how much of a nightmare that would have being. I do have I cloud but verifications etc and all of my work stuff etc would have being a killer. Thanks mate I was very lucky, loads of kids 100 yards behind me would of found it for sure

That restaurant is special mate, In Asia I’ve never spent so much on a meal but I had to show something special about Cambodia. It was worth it, I can only do that with the support of my community like you. Thank you so much Robert.

I thought I lost my wallet on last day in BKK. Had £500 in it. Thankfully I remembered I hid it down my front. Worst 10 mins of my life 😁

I’ll be honest mate I have no idea, being a budget traveller I keep away. The guys I met there with girlfriend’s seemed really happy so that’s a good indicator.

Yes unfortunately mate dentistry isn’t an option. I’ve tried a lot of things and they’ve always been extremely uncomfortable. I’m happy the way I am now.

That's rice not wheat and there's no water in the salt fields. When it's full of water it's nice.

Lost a Phone it's- not realy good but, sometime is give a more motivation to move - only one crab- it's lost connection between google account and your telephone system its only now on your laptop my tips about security/
I ended up finding it later in a puddle, luckily waterproof👌🏻
